It makes some fights far easier than intended, greatly diminishes the AoE utility provided by other DoT specs, and causes some players to feel less obligated to play it when they otherwise wouldn't want to. None of those things are fun.
None of the changes that would be required to bring Vengeance/Vigilance down to earth would really impact them in solo content or even a lot of group content. They just can't be allowed to do 40% more DPS than any other discipline. That's ridiculous.
Although my disability prevents me from learning a lot of the arts I want to learn, I am obsessed with Glass Blowing and Ceramic Art. I'd love Glass Blown sculptures, vases, lighting... etc. The same with Ceramics. The "pottery" decos we have are okay, but it's time to up the game. PS. The bronze is not true bronze.
No cuz i believe /addignore only affects chat & mail, so they will still show up on GTN. ( see this other thread on same topic: https://forums.swtor.com/topic/907869-legacy-ignore-should-include-gtn-listings/ )
Note that Combat hits that on operations dummy, with the good old 35% baseline DR. That's more DR than what dps or healers will have, so that's why you'll see bigger numbers outside of dummy. None of the specs you listed do more on a training dummy with a single hit than Combat does with Dispatch. More than that, the average crit of Dispatch does more than the maximum hit of any of the specs listed here.
Combat certainly isn't hurting for burst in it's Zen-buffed Precision window. It's a shame that Lance hits so little, which makes Lance -> Crashing Blast a rather disappointing Precision window.
