  1. You know how many people would bypass the GTN tax and trade tax if they could immediately invite an alt into a guild to trade multiple hypercrates or other expensive 3 billion credit items? That is just for legitimate traders. This doesn't even take into account the credits that third party sellers are being taxed on when they can't keep alt or stolen accounts active for 30 days and are forced to pay the trade tax to move credits or flat out lose all the credits that account is holding when it gets banned. Is the 30 day delay to use the guild bank annoying? Yes. Is it helping keep inflation down? Yes and inflation is still dropping which is a good thing for this games economy. I do wish there was an option to disable the 30 day wait and instead let anyone pull items from the guild bank and let the taxes be drawn from the guild bank funds. I keep a lot of low quality CM items in my guilds bank that is free for the members to have and I wouldn't mind paying the withdraw taxes out of my guild bank funds for members that have been with the guild for less than 30 days.
  2. What's even funnier is that the tech frags limit was also 10k so you had to basically go over your limit to hit 10k which deleted tech frags. Devs eventually changed the limit to 11k because we players were getting annoyed at constantly deleting tech frags to hit 10k so we could buy OEMs.
  3. last July I took a survey of the GTNs on each server using SF as the base since it was the server with the highest population and the most items available on the GTN. Armor: SF 100%, SS 76.4%, DM 82.4%, TH 51%, LV 28.6% Weapon: SF 100%, SS 51.9%, DM 77.9%, TH 47.5%, LV 23.9% Craft Schems: SF 100%, SS 50.3%, DM 78.7%, TH 45.9%, LV 9.3% Pets: SF 100%, SS 46%, DM 70%, TH 56%, LV 29% Mounts: SF 100%, SS 61.9%, DM 83.5%, TH 63.6%, LV 35.9% Decorations: SF 100%, SS 55%, DM 70%, TH 44.7%, LV 20.7% Less items generally means less competition to sell which can result in higher prices. You may want to compare available CM packs on the GTN over a few weeks to the servers population. That may give you more information but this is one of the reasons I left SS server. It was harder to buy items and what I could find was generally more expensive than other servers.
  4. That's not how percentages work unless you found a way to stick 14 augments in a single item.
  5. The Aug 74 increases your stats 9.5% The Aug 77 increases your stats 11.2% The difference between the two augments is an increase of 1.7% which is meaningless. The vast majority of the players in this game will see a bigger improvement in their DPS, Healing, and Tanking by learning their class and picking the proper skills in the skill tree than upgrading their augment from 74s to 77s. The price is fine for what it is, a long term time sink that has almost negligible impact but gives players with more than they need a reason to keep grinding.
  6. I abandoned 3 fully unlocked, level 65 plus guilds on SS to move to SF. SS is basically a ghost town in comparison, even DM has a larger active population. Guilds are pointless if group content only pops during prime time.
  7. or Fitted Armor/Weapons crates, even PvPers want to look pretty.
  8. I'm excited about a new seasonal event. I love those. I'm not really interested in another daily grind area I'll finish in 3 weeks and never look at again because those daily grind areas never get updated.
  9. guilds stay behind on the server they are on when transferring. Your best bet is either put an alt into that guild and keep it in case you go back or servers merge, or sell it and take the credits with you to the new server. https://forums.swtor.com/topic/933653-this-is-what-happens-when-you-transfer-characters/
  10. I have over 100 max level characters. I'm not playing through all the story arcs to access new areas. Even the devs know that locking content being hours of story someone has no interest in is a bad idea because you end up with new and seasoned players who basically ignore locked content.
  11. Since they can only be used in PvP, they are only useful to PvPers. I usually buy 10 of each with a new character and never have to buy more because I am always rewarded more than I can use from the previous game. I would rather get vendor trash that I can sell for 1 credit than more stims that I'm betting won't even stack with the ones we get as rewards from PvPing which means I'll have to manually delete them. Even players who don't PvP won't need more than 10 of each to start off. After that they will constantly be rewarded more than they will use. Stims are such lazy filler.
  12. if you are talking about these don't bother especially if they don't stack with what we already own. Seasoned PvP players have thousands already. Non PvPers can pick them up cheaply for 1000 credit each and get rewarded more than they use playing warzones and arena. Stims and buffs will be useful, but not Adrenals and Medpacs.
  13. now show people what GSF looks like.
