  1. Alternatively (or in addition), would be nice to get wigs as a hat option (as long as they don't disappear in the cut scenes).
  2. I learned to deal with the gearing system, mostly thanks to Hyde and Zeek, but I HATE the new Augment system. I HATE that I can't just craft a set of Augments without dealing with ridiculous recipe/mats requirements. And I HATE that the Augments create an additional disparity in PVP - like we didn't have enough of it without them.
  3. 50 is actually relatively generous - we have plenty of decorations where the limit is set at 10, and some where the limit is 1 total. I hear you though - all these limits for no apparent reason (since there are similar unlimited decos to any limited ones) are extremely annoying.
  4. Alternatively, they could give us an option of a 3rd combat style which might be an easier way from development perspective.
  5. This 100%. It's not so much as being afraid, but more of not willing to deal with it. I rarely play my tank anymore, unless it's with a friend who runs heals. Moreover, it's not just "bad" tank/heals who are burned by it, but the excellent ones as well. Both tanking and healing have 1) range and 2) priority. If a player is out of range, they won't get protection or heals. Healer is a priority for tanking, and Tank is priority for healing - if a choice has to be made who to heal/protect, the priority target takes precedence. Also, Healers need a breathing room to heal - if they are under attack by multiple attackers, they won't be able to heal much. Yet, there are players - Arenas are the worst for it - who will run to the other side of the map (way out of range), and then complain about not getting any heals/protection. Is it everyone? Of course not. But it happens enough for healers/tanks to be unwilling to deal with it. After all, they join to have fun too - not to serve as a bucket for someone's verbal diarrhea.
  6. Disagree. DEs are not a draw for new players - story is - but mostly for existing ones. Advertising new content to the whole player base and then discouraging that base from completing the said content turns that content into a waste of resources that could have been spent on something more productive. DEs have an initial draw of 80s "mobs" (as any new content does), but as soon as the novelty wears of, you'll find fewer players participating in them - for points Heroics are faster, easier, and "pay" better. For example, Tatooine DEs are mostly dead now (Hoth probably is as well, but it's been a while since I visited). Conquest points and a Pinnacle mission keep the interest for a little bit longer and attract at least some players in a long term. Not offering it for starter planets is a bad business decision.
  7. Thank you. I see the description has been updated. Seems like a weird decision to make new encounters and then discourage the vast majority of player base from participation.
  8. Tython and Korriban DEs do not count towards the DEs Pinnacle mission. Korriban DEs haven't awarded any Conquest points at all. Not sure if it's since the 7.7 or 7.7c since I only tried these planets yesterday and today.
  9. If you're adding Bioprocessors to PVP drops, it shouldn't be at the expense of the existing drops, but in addition to. Keep WZ coms vs Cache as a choice, but not the Bioprocessors. Locking the augments behind a raid boss was a bad idea to begin with (especially for PVP, as was pointed out in this thread already). It might be OK for players on the two most populated servers and/or the members of very active guilds, but for the rest of us... good luck finding a group even for a Story run. And now, locking the gold ones behind the MM just adds the insult to an injury.
  10. Uprisings used to be soloable on Veteran (still had to understand the mechanics), but not on Story. This is because Vet was set at level 80 which means you had all your skills available at their max level (as long as you were 80 yourself). The story was set to something lower (forgot what) so you were "adjusted" to match and that was really messing it up.
  11. It's the biggest blaster in the game and is cool-looking. It used to be a rare item until not too long ago (when it was re-introduced to CM). Some people prefer paying credits over CC. And the item is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. If you think it's too much - that person ain't you. For someone else, it might be worth it.
  12. I helped my boyfriend with this chapter - not because he needed help, but because we just wanted to play together. Only one character will receive story progress, so the helper needs to join you in your instance. In our case, he just summoned me to him once the initial cut-scene ended. And yes, I brought a companion, so poor Vaylin had no chance against the 3 of us, even on Veteran mode. When you're stunned, Escape will be the only thing available - that's not exclusive to Vaylin. You were also advised to get a second combat style if you prefer to do this fight solo. Operative would be the most natural choice for an Agent and it provides access to both heals and stealth. If you do decide to pick it up, I would suggest Concealment build for this fight (as well as most of the bosses) for it's superior one-on-one, and Lethality for most of the other content - very effective AOE.
  13. The difficulty is the most important question here. If you're anything above Story, switch down to it. In addition, you can bring a friend into the fight and they can bring a companion (will have to summon them to you). So, if all else fails, go to fleet and ask for help - hopefully, someone will respond.
  14. The only things missing from this card are giggles and more giggles. But that will probably happen on every square except top left.
