Combat log post of overpowered Operative burst

Ok so because my post this morning about Operatives just going around instagibbing people was ignored/ridiculed, I waited until it happened again today and here is the full combat log of the event:

 

I would like one of you forum warriors who think Operatives are balanced to tell me what I could have done to either win this 1v1 or escape. I doubt you will be able to do this as I think everyone knows that operatives are well overdue for a massive nerf.

 

Notes:

 

- I have 15000+hp and 1100 expertise. He had about 14k hp, so I doubt his gear was even better than mine.

- I broke his second "deblitiate" stun

- Applied my dots, popped my def cooldowns (though I was at about 3k hp when this happened from the stunlock at the start which people say I shouldn't break).

- He took no damage from me

- I then died and he walked away with about 90% hp

Post a combat log, or it didn't.... er... wait.

 

You made a few mistakes.

 

1. After Resolute, you should have popped Rebuke while moving, then a Warzone Medpack.

Instead, you popped Guarded by the Force, and changed to Juyo form.

 

2. After that, you should have done Zealous Strike to gain 6 quick focus, then Force Stasis, then Merciless Slash. Then Overload + Cauterize.

Instead, you did Zealous Strike, Overload Saber, and Cauterize. followed by Master Strike.

 

3. This would have left your Guarded by the Force available for this point in the fight, allowing you to continue your rotations.

 

TL;DR you made some bad mistakes.

Zealous strike has a 12 sec cooldown, learn what abilities are before posting that i'm bad plz. Also I didnt switch to Juyo form, I was in Juyo form. Why should I have to pop consumables every single time an OP decides they want to instagib me? They are 10 comms each time...

Long story short:

 

  • You panic'd
  • You did not make good choices
  • You did not manage your target
  • You don't understand that 3100 damage on you isn't a mindblowing amound of damage.
  • You are bad

 

There's only one problem here, and it's PEBKAC.

So what your saying is, that you were beaten by a better player and that player happened to be an Operative.

 

And from your 1v1 experiences you think they need a major nerf. Sounds good.

 

This was half over half my health when I could do nothing whatsoever. Its not about the better player when one player can't do anything before he's at 1/3 life with a ton of debuffs on him.

Yeah, I haven't seen a lot of OPS, but looking at your combat log you messed up a few times, and could of atleast lasted longer before death.

 

Maybe so, I am not a perfect player by any means. However you acknowledge I would still have died no matter what, so I guess its irrelevant.

Let me get this straight. SO there were tons of posts about people wanting a chance to live against a Ops/Scoundrel because being stunlocked from 100-0% isn't fun. I told everyone that if you have 20-30% HP left you would still complain because it was only the illusion that you had a fighting chance... then you would die later. Everyone stated they just wanted to chance and they could turn the tide in battle with skill.

 

So now that you are left with HP left before you die.. you are infact QQing because you still died. I am glad to be reassured by the PvP community that no matter what they do to a stealth class... no one will ever be happy being killed by one.

 

I don't even play an Ops and I don't want them to be nerfed again. Leave them alone and fix some classes that could use the loving.

Has anyone noticed that whole fight lasted for 19 seconds?

 

You got outplayed OP, not burned down during 5 sec stunlock.

 

And nombers arent that vicious:

 

3184 HS

1276 Laceration

2939 Backstab

around 1500k from acid blade.

 

You are nothing but a terrible player, who will be stomped by any class, guided by normal player. Main reason why you never be any good - you are thinking your skills are flawless and your defeats are only because of wrong math.

Generally if an Operative is coming out of stealth to open on somebody they want to kill quickly they will have used relics and consumables so actually yes, he should win if you don't use the same (if the game was perfectly balanced, you had equal skill and gear, etc.) Actually, if an Operative opens from stealth on you they should usually win anyway - in the same way that if you jump on them when they are not in stealth you should win. With Operatives in particular, whoever dictates the terms of the fight usually wins.

I cant make heads or tails of this.

 

I cant wrap my head around the possibility of this class getting another nerf.

 

I asked my sister who is in school for graphics designing and when asked what she though about ops/scouns her response..."Not sure what that is but sounds like they should not exist."

 

Maybe its time to delete this class and just move on with our lives.

 

...Also I will have my dps operative buddy lay it on me in a duel with me wearing no armor and post some numbers later.

Because the operative has to pop even more cons to avoid flopping around like a wet noodle >.>

Why are some of these responses telling me to use Force Stasis??? How could that possibly help me in any way, aside from prolonging my death by another 3 seconds.

Don't be so hard on yourself.. the nerfs worked for me. I now let them burst and I sprint away with that little health left. One less class a healer has to die to. :D
