  1. I see a lot of you don't really get it. Pyrotech's are fine, and so are Marauders. Defensive abilities are the issue right now, and dmg management. As it stands at this moment, PT's can apply DoT's on you that can be CLEANSED. These DoT's are the biggest issue at the moment. 1 PT in a group is perfectly balanced.. It's when you get 3 or even 4 PT's on one group that make it a poop storm. If they would either allow Cleanse to make you immune to those DoT's after it's applied for a short duration then the insane burst DPS that drops people so suddenly wouldn't be an issue. Solution 2 : Make it so PT's can't stack these DoT's on targets. They issue we are having at the moment is Cleanse for a Sage for example is on a 5 second cooldown. If you are fighting 2 PT's... They can constantly apply those critical DoT's making cleanse useless. It's a bunch of jibber jabber really because I honestly don't have a excellent response to multiple PT's in the same group, but that's the best I can come up with.
  2. I don't know. I kind of wish our SW was on the same CD as the PT. If healers would learn to cleanse more in WZ's then it wouldn't be to big of an issue I think.

  5. That's pretty good man. Mine is 520k in a Civil War that resulted in center not being capped till close till the end of the game. Impressive.
  6. Some WZ's people will only want their friends guarding them for the medals. Even though the true tank in that WZ should be the person floating his guard. The DPS tank will guard his friends just for the medals.. It's silly, but it happens a lot.
  7. Why isn't this ability in the defense tree? I'm trying to wrap my head around it, but I play the true tank in PvP and I have to spec like a hybrid because I feel as if this ability can't be passed up. Anyone else feel the same?

  9. I consider myself a full Tank and w/ 22k HP, 51.22 DMG reduction, and 27.00 Defense healers love me. I do not mind throwing guard on our support classes or even DPS. It's usually whoever is getting focus fired i'll switch my guard too. I average 50k Protection and that's with saying that most of our premade games end very fast. Cybertech grenades for additional peeling, and gaining gold medals for defense is my profession and i'm damn good at it.
  10. I do just fine. Mostly people who play with or against me would agree. Full tank here, and either you're doing something wrong or just not meant to tank.

  13. It is hilarious I agree. The fact that you think Endurance means nothing on a Tank and holding objectives just proves your ignorance. For the above poster.. 2-3 seconds is a long time in Voidstar and Civil War. I'm known as one of the prestige tanks on my server. If people see me alone at an objective they know they won't take it easily. You better bring 3-4 people and if my cooldowns are up i'm still holding you off till calvary arrives. I don't need to write a well put out description of how to play the Guardian class because this game evolves around competition, and if you are still in the "dps" frame of mind.. Well, get left behind. I'm done with this thread, and i'm sure ill run in to some of you eventually if you're still around because I still will be and you will be PM'ing me on my spec/build like the rest of them. Peace.
  14. You can say what you wan't but I wont reconsider our group style. Tanks have plenty of cooldowns, and the timers are just fine. People complaining about the small nerf to DPS tanks are just not tanks. Plain and simple.
