I get what you mean about Flame Sweep, but it costs 21 heat - as its cost is reduced in said box. You could also couple it will Thermal Sensor Override, and DoT/snare a group with it, simultaneously making them more susceptible to your damage. Pyrotech isn't a resource-starved spec, by any means.

Regarding the bit about combatting Juggernauts by priming Explosive Dart and Thermal Detonator right as they hit Saber Reflect, it's not accurate vs tanks with the additional 2 seconds on their reflect.

They did it because it lasts 12 seconds, but I agree, the recourse of 40 seconds is too long. I use the crit relic!

Pryotech now has the box which provides 25% to your defense chance upon using Chaff Flares as well. -

You're referring to Hydraulic Override / Hold the Line? It has an immunity to snares, roots and knockdowns, but you can still stun and mez through it. It lasts 6 seconds. Knowledge is delicious.

I'm not entirely certain when 2.4 is coming out, but it is a fairly big update in which they are implementing arenas as well - though I imagine it will be rather soon. I believe they said October. It is worth it, but not completely necessary to upgrade. It definitely adds up. Do you have class buffs on? Do you have datacrons?

Trade your warzone comms for rated warzone comms and get the next tier of gear. You should wait though, as the next update will be eliminating partisan gear, making conqueror gear purchasable with regular warzone comms and implementing a new tier of PvP gear. The trade-in for comms is a 1:3 ratio, and it's at the PvP vendor next to the PvP terminal.
