Ewok!!!!!!

No, Ewoks wouldn't work. If they're primitive in RotJ, I doubt they'll even have been discovered in the SWTOR era. I mean, they would be given access to all the technology in the SWTOR era if they had been discovered. And since they're primitive in RotJ, they'll not have had any access to technology.

Yeah, i knew that wouldnt work, i was just kidding, but that would be kinda cool, like, an Ewok Jedi Knight, or something.

I do not see so far....

I do mainly PVP at warzone.

Today statistics: 3 wins then 10 lose and we can not be able to win anymore today....it seems to me.

I have a commando gunnery but there are more imp char I can not do anything with......

I ask more balance in game warzone please.

For example: bounty hunter - powertech uses only Fire burst everytime and everybody with only one or two skills!!!

Sith sorcerer also........

Also missing open world PVP.

Is it the future of SWTOR? I delete the game instead....

A little hard to read, but YES this. I am still having fun with the material. It is really a great game. Class balance is something that needs to be looked at in the next patch. The game is currently not as gear or skill dependent as it is class dependent. IE heavy or medium high survivability types outdamaging everything, especially burst wise. We all know the 2-3 classes I am talking about. Something would appear to be broken :)

Is it just me, or are posts disappearing?? :jawa_eek:

Something is really up here: not just several posts of mine are missing, but there are posts missing of at least 3 other people who were all suggesting ideas for SWtOR. Sabotage? :rak_02:

When? Bioware, when? Do you realize how long it has been since the game has had any new content added? I am getting really close to throwing up my arms and looking elsewhere for some fun.

Honestly for a game that is less than a year old there has been a decent amount of content released for the game. While I don't think TOR is perfect, I do think there is a good deal of content - if one plays to the deign. The game was clearly designed for alt-aholics in mind. I've leveled 4 classes to 50 and I'd say I play more often than most, but I'm not exactly a hardcore player either. Now if you don't want to level an alt, you're correct there is a dearth of content. Right or wrong that's just not how they designed the game though.

Thank you for that ^^ I heartily agree!

In fact im reposting here my last posts that have mysteriously disappeared (Bioware team is looking into it) as all my posts seem to have vanished where i wasnt asking about a problem ingame or wondering where the fur on the Cathar has gone.... Leaving me sounding almost as negative as so many other posters which stings a bit.

One of my disappeared posts (also in answer to creepingdarkness):

The new content will have a new planet with continued storyline. To my understanding that will include a new level cap, yes. :tran_tongue:

New content seems to be coming out every 2-3 months, and as the interviewees mentioned it would be particularly soon (considering when the last one came out) im guessing the next content is coming end of this month.

http://www.swtor.com/gameupdates/1.3-allies <<- take a look at the dates yourself if you havent already.

Doesnt anyone understand that developing stuff actually takes time???? :csw_jabbapet:

I type this knowing you are all going to throw raging Rakgouls at me... but: Patience is a virtue. Seriously.

Not impressed, I like the idea of a new planet, Cathar is already there pretty much (not so big on being a cat person anyhow). I DO however, want to be able to use a hood and a mask at the same time, which im sure many players also want. I doubt it takes TOO much effort to do that, but tbh the game's getting pretty dry.

A few posters had some great ideas lined up... sadly their work is gone as well.. I was able to snatch my old post back as it still sorta lives on inside a quote of another poster. I wish i could get the other poster's work back (if you are reading this, please repost those ideas), they had great atmosphere ideas such as pod racing and gambling games at the casinos. At any rate, they used the absence of those as reasons as to why SWtOR was/is failing.

My post was:

The ideas you have mentioned - lemme know if im getting this wrong - are mainly mini games. They are great ideas, ive thought of these ideas and many similar ideas myself. However, why all the raging? It is perfectly normal in my eyes that the dedicated makers of SWtOR want to get the main game up and running before implementing tons of mini games -> which though as awesome and necessary as they are: are icing on the cake.

(Isnt the fudge frosting generally the best part?)

I have no fear, absolutely no doubt, that these sort of ideas and more will be implemented at some point in the future. SWtOR is new! Give them a chance! If they had to have everything perfect before releasing the game then we would still be waiting many many years before it would even come out! Be glad you can play some of the content now, while waiting for the rest to be designed and made.

Cool your raging rakgouls! :rak_03:

My post was:

Well if you're talking about general ideas to improve the game outside of new content.

General account features:

Legacy perks account wide (aside from character perks obviously).

Change the naming policy and make only one name have to be unique

More character slots

Cosmetic:

More armor skins

More species

Decorate our ships

Housing

Mini-games:

Pazaak - which I believe was mentioned.

Sabacc

Holo chess

Guilds:

Guild badges, capes, cloaks uniforms any way to show off your guild pride

Guild housing

All this sounds great, BUT.......

They've been telling us things are coming like "You will be able to recruit HK-51 in to your party in the very near future". The "very near future" is a carrot on a string and that's what disappoints me the most.

If they want to announce new things that are coming, i'm all for that...but please be a bit more detailed on this.

The year 2050 could be considered the near future ffs.

Just tell us it'll be out at the end of XXXXXX month...give us an actual timeframe we can count on, even if you overestimate the time required to release any "new" content so you can exceed expectations by releasing earlier if the content is finished in time.

Diablo 3 was able to give a pretty definitive answer for when their big 1.4 patch is going live (not an exact date, but saying it's out at the end of the month is much better then "the very near future"). i realise this isn't the best comparison as they're obviously diff games with diff people making **** happen, and D3's patch isn't a content update, but it is a major game mechanics rework.

I've only just canceled my SWTOR sub this last week because i've been paying my sub since release, and the last 4 months have been full off, thus far, empty promises. Virtually misleading information.

We've had no new content since early April, they couldn't even implement nightmare Denova, which wouldn't even count as new content. Ranked PvP....again, not new content, just something that was ment to be there at release. Useable social armor, again, this isn't something new, just something that was fixed. Legacy system, i don't consider this new content either, more an accessory to the game mechanics.

They keep telling us about all the good stuff coming as if it's finished and ready to go when the time it takes for them to implement anything makes it seem more like these are still in concept stage,

Please get your **** together

Yeah, very soon ®, became an unstickied post about the announcement, now it doesn't show up in the latest video about upcoming features. Seems like HK-51 is disapearing. I'm sure he'll reappear though, in the cash shop, for say, 1000 cartel coins.

While I don't disagree that there has been a number of things added to the game that should have been in at release (a finished Legacy system among them), you can't ignore that there have been two flashpoints and two ops added as well as a PvP warzone. That's been in six months or so. Now not all of that is content I'm excited about, but it is content even if I don't play it.

Yes I'd love to see chapter 4 for the classes or new classes added to the game, but I also realize that those are bigger updates and they aren't going to come within six months of launch. On the surface the idea of a whole new planet seems enticing, I'll reserve final judgement on that once I know what the planet is going to be like, I mean Quesh is a "whole planet", but it doesn't really excite me.

Yeah a date on when this update is going to hit testing would be great, but I'm not surprised that we haven't gotten one, this is a company that just went through a round of lay offs. For better or for worse we'll have to accept "soon" for now.

Now if SWTOR just isn't doing it for you and you can't justify spending the money on it that's your business I'm not trying to convince you otherwise, I just think your statements are a little hyperbole.

This all came within the first 4 months of the games release. I can not complain, nor was my post intended to imply that i was unhappy with that initial release of content. It was both timely and enjoyable.

I edited my post for clarity.

My problem is with the last 4 months. We have been promised content that as yet, has still not been delivered.

Back in April when the last true content addition was made to the game, we were assured that new content would be released both regularly and consistently. (given that we had received two content updates within 4 months they made the premiss that we could expect new content of a similar size every 2 months)

but I'm not surprised that we haven't gotten one, this is a company that just went through a round of lay offs.

I can only speculate on the effects layoffs would have on the game. Layoffs don't concern me in a game like this because there can be no way they require the same staff numbers that it took to produce a new game, as they do to maintain one. Even taking into account the creation of new content. Layoffs were bound to happen. Thats certainly not an acceptable excuse for the slowing of content release.

We're still waiting and they're still telling us the same thing.

Saga never ends? Really? Am pretty certain the saga of every of my toons pretty much ended when they finished chapter 3... So much for story driven MMO not a single story update in 9 months....

Intermission, more story then another game has every offered

I am very happy with the future expanding of SWTOR.

The only thing i'm not satisfied with is that there is no more than one race added to this game.

I really hope that Bioware will consider adding more races such as the Kel Dor.

But in the end this expansion deserves my two thumbs up :)

I would like to get Kel'Dors as new race :) oh well, maybe next time :)

Same here, I mean all these people going on how Togruta's should be added instead of Cathar (im game for that also) but c'mon Kel'Dor were an original playable race then last minute BW thought "meh lets keep with the human looking ones" and removed them entirely which put a nail in the coffin for the guild and lore stuff me and my old guild mates pre set up 1 year before game release, so when they announced they were being removed we had to trash our guild and look elsewhere ready for early access. The only thing I see Cathar being good for is cannon fodder

So when will you add more Player character slots. You keep adding more to race (with legacy and now Cathar) but if I have all 8 filled I don't want to delete a max level toon to make a new toon that is a ca:thar. Two more slots would be nice to make other characters with. Or at least cross server legacies. :rak_03:

My Real big question is: Does BioWare/EA plan on continuing the individual character stories beyond Ilum.

I am all for more Group Required Content (Warzones, Operations, etc.)

But what about the character stories and the NPC stories. I care more about see that expand and be explored than just more Group content.

What I loved the most about SW:TOR is the character story. Yeah your the Hero of the Republic or the Empire, Ok NOW What? Star Wars didn't end when Luke, Han and all blew up the Death Star....the Empire Struck back...

So will you have the next stage of the character's stories? Will you do more with your companions stories.

Does Bioware have a QA team in their department before testing out patches (even before thrown to PTS?)

It just seems that there is a lack of an agile environment in the software build area. For example, the past issue of breaking the probes on the minesweeper area in Explosive Conflict. It took a couple days to get resolved. From a SCM standpoint, should it not have taken a few hours to roll back the patch and make things playable for end game content?

I still hope that the developers themselves play the games and get into the shoes of the subscribers to experience the issues that are happening (although this should be the job of quality assurance).

I fear for the future of SWTOR. Honestly, I still feel like I'm playing a beta version of this game while paying $15 a month. The lack of end game content, gearing, and just bugged out operations are disheartening to say the least.

My issue is, does Bioware developers even listen to the subscribers and actually bring timely fixes (developer builds should be done daily around the clock and tested by QA)? If not, then I'm sure another MMORPG will come out to address SWTOR lack of quality and bring new subscribers to there.

Don't get me started on people who bought the Collector's Edition of the game, the CE vendor has no items which keep it distinct from people who didn't purchase the CE of the game. It would be nice to reward players buy allowing the purchase of CE only items which are beneficial in end game. After all, we are paying for the bugs that take 2-3 months to fix (which should probably take only at max a week to fix - since patching happens weekly).

DAMNIT Bioware! What a miss-leading title at-least I hope for your sake that's the case here

Since you took the liberty of deleting this i'll take the liberty of re-posting it.

First i'll start by saying THUNDERCATS THUNDERCATS THUNDERCATS! HOoOoO!

To survive you must oblige....

- Pazaak games on a pvp basis at a table maybe Imp vs Republic and you could win prizes like speeders armor rares things like that. Somewhat like online poker but you can bet your creds. YOU already have a place like this on Nar-shaddaa.

- Bounty Boards (assassination contracts being able to actually place a hit I.E bounty on someone i think this is the most disappointing thing about this game i'm a freakin BH and i can't take contracts?), Imperial agent Missions (Make me feel like 007), Jedi / Sith Mission, (self explanatory) Trooper Special Ops.

- Space Combat being similar to Rogue Squadron or Jump to Light-speed would open up Space PvP development opportunity and being able to take more than just yourself in to space combat.

- Swoop / Speeder Bike / Pod Racing across various planets!! With modifiable speeder parts and unique build your own pod options.

- Being able to actually attend your wedding ceremony with your companion not a black screen.... -_-

- All races Wookiees, Kel-Dore, ETC, ETC I have seen most of these races in game why not make them playable!

-More player slots legacy seems useless with the amount of char slots...

- Pets that actually do something not just aesthetic worthless mini pets. Meaning you could have a companion selection window and your combat pet selection window basically Creature handler 2.0 I WANT MY RANCOR BACK!!

-Being able to trade commendations with friends. it's completely useless that the armor binds on pick-up you can't even sell or trade the armor with your worthless commendations i'm a level 50 what exactly am I suppose to do with Korriban commendations.

-Faster speeders I honestly feel like I can out run most speeders.

-Player housing?!?!?!!?

-More speeders with customization options I.E paint scheme things like that.

-A GTN that looks sexy and actually works fix it!

-Guild ships that you can take to battle customize and have a place were your guildes can chill so they're not being over whelmed on the ST. guild clothing with customization this has been mentioned many o times. :rak_03:

again damnit man! It's been 9 months there is literally no excuse EA/Bio step it up before DayZ and GW2 comes out.
