To everyone a BW, thank you for not releasing broken content. Ignore the folks on here complaining about the delay. They would be complaining just as much, if not more, if you pushed out a broken system. Can't please some people.

Ok so here is what just happened:

1. You watch trailers and commercials for a movie.

2. You go the theater and purchase a ticket.

3. You find your seat and watch the previews. As the previews end the lights on come on and someone comes out and says "sorry, the director has decided he wants to rework some things in the movie. Come back in a month, buy a new ticket and watch it then."

...We do want everyone to be able to join us in testing on a high-level character on the PTS, but for this testing period, it wouldn't have been as easy as granting characters experience via an NPC..

HUH? Why not? all that it requires is to be 50 to queue into lvl 50 warzones. Better excuses plz.

Bioware just shot this game in the foot.

Especially with GW2 beta coming soon and D3 releasing next month. Not to mention this game has already been bleeding a mass amount of subs just about every week, and 75% of the servers or more are practically dead.

Good night sweet prince.

This is something that should of been #1 priority. Here's what I would of done had I been in charge of PTS.

Things to do:

#1) Allow players to become instant 50 to test end game content

I pvp a ton and this is probably a good thing.

Sorry, my server (which used to be huge) doesn't have the population to make these ratings real in any way, shape, or form. There was talk between the few remaining pvpers (I was one) for a premade stomp team. Yet, we knew that we'd be going up against pugs because the player count is so low for the vast majority of the ton.

Kudos BW for pulling something that would have caused some real harm. I really hope you get server transfers going shortly so that we can actually get the system.

yes why can't they just push it out all broken like so we can play? I swear we won't complain when it doesn't work right.

How about not telling us something's going to be in the game when they're less than 100% certain? Bioware is a joke. Bioware is an obscene joke. I've unsubbed too and if you think this will be implemented sometime this year, lol.

If you say you're going to do something, do it. It's not that difficult of a principle. This is game launch all over again. Big promises, nothing, nothing, nothing delivered. Worthless.

That's some really stupid crap right there.

Agreed, wth is the point of keeping the gear and commendations in the patch if there isn't going to be any ranked matches?

Bioware you might as well scrap the patch or delay it *even* longer till you can get your crap in order and get the ranked matches working like you hyped us up for...

I'll preface this by saying I rarely post on the forums.

I'm coming out of hiding for this thread, though, because someone needs to represent the viewpoint of the non-casual PvPer.

The PvE players will of course line up to say we're the minority- they always do. They'll continue to say we're vocal, and that our impact on a game is minimal, ect. Because, well, somewhere along the line, they got led to believe that all PvPers hate PvEers, and the forum troll wars started where everyone picked a faction and yelled and screamed until it became standard behavior.

I don't hate PvE. I am a PvP focused player, but I don't want to change your raids, or the itemization of your gear, or make you PvP to get a BiS belt or a set of bracers to max your stats for raiding. For the most part- I want you guys to have your focus untouched, and not have to do things you hate in order to do the things you enjoy.

But on the other hand, the PvPer has been handed the worst development in the game over and over since this game's launch, the worst itemization of stats, forced PvE for BiS/stat itemization, and a completely broken World PvP setup.

You made valor changes that made the ranks meaningless, you put in interim systems for commendations that essentially handed out free gear to everyone who put in minimal effort after tons of people had a merciless grind to get both their ranks/gear.

It's clear that PvE is the focus of this game. That's fine- most games focus this way, and I get it- but it doesn't give your development teams an excuse to completely half-*** one part of the game, and that's exactly what has happened with PvP.

World PvP was terrible from launch, and you've essentially admitted defeat until you can completely re-work it.

You changed methods of commendations twice with these "temporary" fixes until more permanent systems could go in, and now, we get no rated warzones, but another temporary way to aquire gear. When does the PvP community get a finished product? How many temporary changes and re-works do we get before we get what the PvEers had at launch- finished content?

You made it clear what the focus for 1.2 was in who you invited to test/copy, and that was PvE guilds to test your new T2 raid. No PvP guilds to test your rated warzones? Really. And the day prior to launching the patch, you have to pull the plug on it. You probably had an entire throng of PvEers testing PvP content for one, and for two, just the lack of focus on it overall reflects poorly on your PvP team, and Bioware as a whole.

If PvP isn't a major focus, you need to say so, rather than keeping the charade of it mattering, yet proving again and again with shoddy development that it doesn't.

Testing (internally and on the PTS) was part of what led us to the decision we've had to make. We know that it is disappointing that we've had to push the feature back, but we have done testing.

You have made it clear that we would not be able to queue for ranked warzones after the deployment of 1.2.

However are the changes to the queue system itself going into the next update? Specifically, can we queue with 8 people?

if you tested this at all, you would have known about the fixes that were needed, and THEN MADE THE CHANGES.

clearly you either knew it was broken and did nothing, or didnt even test it properly.

you can choose which it was, i dont care

You've had 4 months of patience and I've had fun during that time. But, eventually, even the patient people will begin to feel taken advantage of. I'm starting to lean that way.

Actually we are complaining about the lack of content. Yes, it's great that they decided NOT to release bugged content. BUT, why is this content not ready in the first place? Bioware had 4 months to release any kind of viable PvP endgame. Is it really too much to expect actual progess?

I suppose you would be thanking Bioware for never releasing any new content, ever, because they can keep telling you it's not ready.

Wow..... I'm so impressed how 80% of my guild just unsubscribed over vent just now. We were WAITING for this for 3 months.

You don't have any reason for us to even queue for "Rated" WZ's for no REAL reward.

We need to have a reason to log in anymore. We DONT care about legacy. We DONT care about family tree's. We DONT care to play with crap players. We DONT want to transfer characters. We DONT want this game to fail and you are killing yourself.

For "Listening" to your player base, you are failing to listen to the 50% that play these games for competitive pvp.

How hard is it to give +2 stat bonuses to the highest rated gear? I'm sure you learned this in MMO school. We NEED that carrot on the stick and you just burned the stick and ate our carrot.
