I've been playing MMO's for the better part of 8 or so years and I've never seen a development team take a game with so much potential and ruin it with empty promises and failed implementation. If this was any other business, and this is a business, your company would be bankrupt from the sheer lack of productivity and customer satisfaction.
1.2, the "Jesus patch" failed on so many levels. It didn't resurect the game, it didn't cure the obvious diseases in game and just clearly wasn't the savoir we've been looking for. Any PVPer who re-upped their subscription for 1.2, screamed theft, at the 11th hour exclusion of raited warzones and in turn received 30 days of free gametime. Thank you so very much for free gametime without the content we re-upped to play. I also with to thank you for the free taunlet, and the rakghoul. That was time not well spent, and more of an annoyance than it was amusiing.
With all these failed promises we've seen server population declines and no action by your company to stop the bleeding this game continues to hemmorage with all the stops having no ETA. Server mergers, cross server warzones, raited warzones, character transfers, all promises we will fail to see before our 30 free days run out and we all give up on this company. Do you guys have a business model? Does it look like a downward spiral to bankruptcy? The long and the short is, this game isn't even worth the investment of another $15 monthly fee.
Luckily for your subscribers Diablo III and Guild Wars 2 are in the near future so we won't have to sit around pining over your failures and lies. Perhaps some of us may come back to this game when it becomes another failed free game, but even then it'll be for the Star Wars name, not for the failed development.
