Some of my favorites:

  • Weapon Designer
  • Stronghold % by rooms unlocked not decorations placed
  • Storing Builds (the abilities and quickbars when you swap specs)
  • Legacy Bank
  • Legacy Unassembled Components
  • Updates to Collector/Pre-Order/VIP vendors
  • Queue for specific types of WZs
  • Stacking of Legacy bound Items (eg. CXP packs)

And another thing:

Overhaul the Friends List and Ignore List.

1) Make both of them legacy-wide and make both larger. Why would someone be a friend to me on one character and NOT a friend (or--worse--someone I want to ignore) on another? I'm not schizophrenic!

...and neither am I!

2) Add a comment field to the Ignore List, just like what the Friends List has. I'd really like to be able to remember WHY I ignored that person. Spammer? Loot ninja? Troll? Terribad player? Habitually says things like "F yer mudder, eye desrv wrld frsts!!" in Fleet General chat?

Thinks that the 5.3 Seer Sage nerfs are fair and reasonable...?

A month from now I won't remember.

3) Add a new feature to the Ignore List: "Timed Auto-Removal". Let's face it, most of our Ignore Lists are populated by Gold Spammers, using accounts that won't exist in another month or so. So make each Ignore List entry have an optional timestamp after which the entry is automatically removed. This solves the MY IGNORE LIST IS FULL problem for 99% of players by automatically cutting out the oldest entries that are--realistically--no longer needed. (Also, add a Preferences item for what the default timeframe for auto-removal should be.)

4) Add a "Report and Ignore" menu option to the UI. A lot of people just ignore without reporting, so this will encourage people to do both. BY THE WAY, choosing this option automatically adds "Reported Spammer" as a comment for that entry in the Ignore List which now has a comment field thanks to #2 above. (It also means it's easier for people to go back and manually delete JUST those entries.)

5) Add checkboxes to the Ignore List so that blocking the person's chat messages and preventing the Group Finder from putting us together can be selectively chosen. Just because I don't want to be grouped with somebody doesn't automatically mean I want him/her silenced too--and vice-versa.

6) Add another checkbox to the Ignore List entries so that I can be optionally informed when a Chat-Ignored player is speaking. Just substitute something that says "[PlayerName] (Ignored)" rather than just nothing at all. Maybe make it two checkboxes: one for open chat in a channel that I see and one for /whisper.

BW wants gold spammers. Gold spammers could be easily shut down or crippled via a key word chat block script. Make a new toon with low legacy wait a few days before they can use fleet chats. Block any credit spammer web sites from known gold spammers in txt, block certain keywords they use update weekly etc for new toons. Old toons with high legacy don't get blocked and are able to sent helpful websites to others in chat like TS server address. .

A high legacy score new toon doing gold spamming gets ID revoked after certain number of complaints.

Not read all the Idea's but I'd like a mount option to work exactly like the rocket boost so I can use it with my BH armours to make their jetpacks work all the time without it cutting out....... the actual jetpack mounts are too bulky.

1. Make 4 vs 4 arenas cross-faction.

2. Make ambient sound devices (decorations) be turned on by default and make them louder.

3. Give us a functional PvP-Mission-Terminal-decoration.

4. Give us a legacy-credit-bank, like it works with the credits in your guildbank.

5. Implement day-and-night-cyclus on Tatooine- and Coruscant- strongholds

A couple more:

- Redesign the rakghoul tunnels; the "one fixed-level enemy that spawns several appropriate-level enemies" idea was a nice way of accommodating player characters of levels 25-60, but it's always been kind of annoying and it's not needed now with level sync.

- Make the cartel pack critter/droid companions a little easier to gain affection with. Right now it's such a pain in the nostrils I'm seriously starting to question why I keep buying them (aside from obsessive completionism, which may be broken if my slot machine luck doesn't improve).

Two things:

Poseable companions in the Stronghold...*possibly* tied to the emotes your character is capable of.

Legacy models. It would be nice to run into my legacy characters in my Strongholds...especially if that was where they exited the game.

That's all for now. Maybe more later.

Ok... here I go... I used to be against what I will say, but now I think that when something is fun and works, it should be used as... inspiration

So I'm not saying copy it... I will say, get inspired by it, ok? :D;):p

The devs should check the PVE ground battlezone in STO. :rak_03:

Since it's 'wall of crazy' ... ill bite and hit on some things that will never happen, but at least expresses a desire that's helpful perhaps to development:

Sandbox!

I want to jump down from the Odessan base and wander miles and miles into the wild. I want to wander into the distant mountains of Korriban. I want to travel into the wild spaces of Tython. I want to find distant canyons where no one is. I want to find a lonely valley with a nice pack of goldmobs I can grind for *something*. I want to come across a den of something with a big something in it. I want it to be a massive planet with NO QUESTS - no floating triangles. No kill X mobs. No NPC's asking me to do anything at all. I want it to be so big it will take me umpteen hours of speeder travel to get to that distant mountain. The fact that I got there is the awesome part, and what makes it amazing. For once i'd like to make my own story by my own adventures.

A Pre-4.0 Server

NO Kotfe. No Kotet. No CXP. None of the stuff that removed us from what we (or I at least) care about: Our characters, Star Wars, and the Republic and Empire.

A Stronghold that MATTERS

Something others can see. Not instanced. Where random players traveling to X happen to see it and ask to enter. A stronghold where there is more to do than duel and /e.

A Dev team who understood that RP is a hugely positive ROI

The volume of investment you have to make in order to encourage RP is one of the best ROI's you could possibly imagine. People who are dedicated to RP will continue playing through the crappiest patch in existence. RP players dont really care about class balance, pvp issues, gsf problems, etc etc... all the things that cause everyone else to leave, RP'ers dont care about. They make their OWN stories, and only need you to provide the framework, and a simple framework it is. Stop making useful emotes like push ups a regen. Allow me to /drink without "proposing a toast". Give me a chair I can click on to sit in for crying out loud (yes I know about /chair). Make interactive stronghold items out of the regens that SHOULD be items, like the vending machine. Give me an ability to somehow make text distinct between players so we arent' all lost in a sea of orange text. Stop making emotes cartel items. Stop adding stupid text to simple emotes: /facepalm should not read "cant believe you did that". It should read - if it reads ANYTHING at all, "places a palm to their face." YOU dont know that I 'cant believe they did that. STOP telling me what I meant. That's the FUNDAMENTAL #1 thing you learn in RP, never try to control another person's character, and you do it constantly. I could go on and on... the missed opportunity this game has seen to develop dedicated RP audience is astounding.

More crazy?

A 1.X server. I loved that time in the game's history.

ask EA for direct support for SWTOR, remove the GC from the game and thne plan a massive expac with all 8 stories for all the classes, obviously not as big as the original, at least a chapter big like the originals. EA send out money, devs and other people to support this whole thing and on the side pvp gets a few new maps, and more lightsabers, clothing sets and what not are included. EA will then go to great lengths to get swtor in the pc mags and mainstream media. for those here on swtor Ben is forced to make an apology for his disasterous GC baby that was almost the death of this game but hes allowed to keep his position.

there, you wanted a crazy idea almost wall like :p

- Let our characters marry Lana/Theron/Koth! For Force sensitive characters/players perhaps there could also be an option for a Force ritual instead of a marriage.

- Let us answer in-game emails from characters. This was discussed in another thread - give us a three-choice tree to respond to some emails from NPCs, especially companions/love interests/specialists. The conversation can keep going the same way any other NPC convo could, and perhaps add to influence or DS/LS points, or trigger missions. There are times the NPCs ask questions in the emails and you can't do anything about them right now. The example I gave elsewhere, which has about five ops for influence points:

1. Dr. Oggurobb's email about his Czerka colleague doing carbonite research: in the email he asks for non-invasive testing.

2. Give the player a chance to agree, decline or ignore the email

3. If the player agrees, get a second email with results.

4. Give the player a choice to forward the results to their love interest or a specialist if they're unattached

5. Have the LI react depending on if the player trusted them enough to share the results.

6. There's something that can help the player's health. If they've seen the email chain through to the end...quest trigger!

- Let us have side quests with companions/love interests - sell them on the Cartel Market a la Treek and HK-51, but make them full stories. You could actually do this with weddings/rituals too.

- More solo mode flashpoints.

- More variety to rakghoul plague events

Player Relationship System:

Where you can marry, become master/apprentice, allies, siblings, etc. with other player's character and get stuff like exclusive emotes, XP/CXP boost when both characters play on the same group, titles, flairs, that vary depending on the kind of relationship you have with them. (You can only have one relationship with another character per character at a time, if you break your relationship both characters lose the perks, if you break your relationship there's a one week cooldown before you can get another one [this to avoid exploits and people changing relationships every 2 minutes lol])

ESRB M for Mature version of the game

Where flirting options that go sexual with characters have actual scenes like the Mass Effect series, this of course should be a version of the game you can only download if you are 18+ etc etc etc. You know the usual stuff.

A way to have main and dead characters as companions

Honestly we all want to have/keep Vaylin, Valkorion, Marr or Ghost Marr, Satele, Jace Malcolm, Texan, the Dread Masters, Darth Acina, Darth Lachriss, Revan, frigging Kai Zaykken himself, Malgus, HK-47, among others as companions.

Let us have them for mere game enjoyment propose even if they are in no way tied to how our stories go or if most of em can't be customized, just like we can bring back companions we got killed on the KOTFE arc with the terminal. They are dead and story keeps going forward yet we can have them cuz hell why not?

Yeah, imo we should be able to choose old rewards for season 8 because there are lots and lots of players who want the furious, gladiatorial, and all the other old rewards. Maybe there could be a rename like "Remnant Gladiatorial Lightsaber" (same to all old rewards), a rarity change for the items that were obtained in original seasons to legendary or something, so you can distinguish them from the possible new rewards that were brought for old seasons. Also the description should be changed (that it wasn't earned in s3, s5, s6 but in season 8) while the titles should be kept exclusive.

Add an option that shows other people's companions in their original armor or just add a toggle to hide other people's companions entirely when not in your party. Edited by Eshvara

This, if for no other reason than because I get so sick of seeing all the players who go out of their way to objectify their female companions. I am already dreading seeing all the Lanas in slave outfits.

I don't care about objectifying either gender, but I do dread the awful armors people make their companions wear, it also adds clutter! I'm sure it could improve the performance to a degree if you could hide them.:)

True too, and probably a reason that people wouldn't scream about. :) In open areas in particular it can get confusing and distracting with everyone's companions running around.
