  1. I think the only way they can do a roll back is to reset everyone to that point in time for inventory, credits, progress, achievements, unlocks, etc. With real world money involved with CM, I don't think this is an option they'd entertain - esp this far down the line from launch of 7.0 (Feb 15th) But it's all good. They are silent and not communicating plans/roadmap, doing livestreams, engaging with the player base on forums save for patch delays - so you know they must be working hard to fix everything to ignore and take their player base for granted. I mean the last time Bioware told their loyal customers that even though their product was buggy, to stay with them as they fixed everything because there was a 10 year plan/commitment from the studio to their game, they didn't just cancel it and shut it all down a few months later, right Anthem fans? On no, we have the Cartel Market to milk us here so we're not in the same boat. These aren't the droids you're looking for, move along.
  2. Small team doing minimal communication and bug fixing, but not releasing large expansions/content? Too soon?
  3. There has never been nor will there ever be: a) an apology -or- b) compensation for disruptions. Unfortunately for you, your options are to live with it until it is fixed or walk away. There won't be anything done to make up for the missed time.
  4. I think staying silent while forums/reddit runs wild with doom and gloom has been par for the course for the entire time I've played this game.
  5. 100% agree. There is no reason at all to bring out a virulence/dirty fighting nerf in the midst of all of this.
  6. I was a day 1 sub and left for the first time during KOTET when I couldn't agree with the vision of Bioware/Ben any longer and returned when Keith took the helm and laid out his agenda. Sub now ends in 2 days and the reason this time isn't disagreeing so much with the vision (which parts of it I do) but because I no longer have faith that this studio can develop a quality game any longer. (There is literally an image that says WIP "work in progress" in live for god's sake) I will check back in when 7.1 finally drops - but if it happens in the manner I think it will- it may not be enough to subscribe again.
  7. Please find me one thing in this game that everyone agrees on. Hell, even on things like not enough new content coming there are those that say we get plenty for the low price of a monthly sub. So I'm not at all surprised or expecting for all those who participate in operations to agree on anything. I even stated early on that there are pros/cons to the starparse numbers being shown, just in my opinion the good outweighs the bad.
  8. Again, I think you are speaking to the exception and not the norm. Esp if in green 320 you were pulling 15-17k. As a (soon to be former- 6 days remaining) member of the NiM community, I'd have been 100% fine with that. ^This. Ignoring a huge part of the game for the actions of 1 random is silly. If you want to try out operations- join one of the many guilds recruiting - some of the larger ones advertise looking for people to join/learn operations.
  9. I'd agree- looking at the parsely databoards for some classes that would be near the top of charts dps - certainly not expected for 320. But I'd also say this behavior is not the norm at all. the bad experiences I've had with toxic players in pug SM operations has not been the case (nor HM for EV/KP) I do wonder if some people join forming operations for HM/NiM content not realizing and then get upset at dps/gear requirements. I know I have formed pug ops on fleet stating the mode and then having someone respond back to find they a) had never done the operation b) weren't in correct gear for their spec. Now I've been good about letting them down gently but I'm sure there are those who have less patience.
  10. While in cases it doesn't matter- I'm seen some pug groups enrage during Gharj and that was due to some dps pulling low numbers. The example I gave earlier was exactly that. The person yelling and pointing finger at others was pulling less than the tank in gear well above 320. So in this case, a toxic player who didn't know how to play their class- yelling at others. And as a side note, the most toxic people I've come across have not been the accomplished members of the raiding community - it has been the ones still learning but not willing to have others learn as well.
  11. Wrong takeaway in my opinion. it more means don't wade into this as part of a random pug. Random can be either a good or bad experience. Instead, find other players/guild that do operations and join a team there. Guilds typically provide a better way to learn operations and these raiding groups can also provide a sort of camaraderie and opportunity to meet and get to know other players from across the globe and form friendships.
  12. But there's two sides to this. Scenario 2, you have the "entitled" [redacteds] who thinks it is other players responsibility to carry them through a pug for an achievement/conquest goal/etc. This person yells at the other players that they aren't good and blames a player of lesser gear rating for any wipes. But one person looks and discovers that the person doing the yelling has the lowest dps of the group and isn't carrying their own weight. As I linked the other thread on this topic in my earlier post - I had this exact scenario play out in a pug operation. The said player was blaming a lower rated team member as the reason for a wipe and not meeting the dps needed to keep the boss from enraging. Once this toxic member was out of group and replaced - the remainder of the operation was completed effortlessly. So again, this feature can be used for good or bad. But at least it gives actual data vs people's feelings - and in many cases provides a more experienced player the ability to see what a less experienced player is doing and be able to offer help/tips to improve (which I have also done as a result of seeing this.) Ultimately, you can play in any manner you choose, but you are not entitled to other players' time. Entering group content brings about this risk both good and bad. Having actual data to allow people to make decisions I believe is better than people blaming on how they think/feel. Toxic will be toxic regardless - but at least the helpful parts of the community can use this to assist.
  13. Another thread has a lot of responses on this subject: https://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=1005143 There are both good and bad outcomes of this but in my opinion the good outweighs the bad
  14. Silence? Man, that is a huge change from them. They've been so interactive and communicative in the past... /S
  15. So if you weren't here at the beginning, 10-50 wzs were terrible. Players with no interrupts going against players with all abilities unlocked. So the tiers are not a bad thing - however population is an issue and likely the cause of what you find as frustrating there. Don't think that is an accurate picture of a level 0 rated ship topping the leaderboard like that. I know I never have seen that. Top of charts have always been the hardcore GSF regulars with ability to one-shot. Now a player with a 0 rated ship can earn quite a few medals in matches where they can defend a node and spend their time avoiding other ships with skill - but I'm really skeptical about topping damage/kills and assists. All that being said, GSF def felt a lot more fun with more players getting in there than the stagnant place it had been for years. More players can and should give it a chance as well. If nothing else, I found it was the best way to gear up to 326.
