  1. Just give us sliders in a new gui window to adjust stats like power, alacrity, etc, and remove gear from PvP.
  2. The feature is terrible. Please change it back. Huttball was the one thing done right. Matches have devolved into running into the pit and passing to someone in the endzone. You might as well remove all of the platforms/traps in huttball with the current changes to the ruleset and just have two giant pits on either side of the arena. Gameplay is now boring due to passing from the pit being the safest strategy.
  3. The following abilities don’t work anymore if close to/touching a wall: Cover, Hightail it/Covered escape, Scamper/Exfiltrate, and Propulsion round/Rocket Out. If you try to use any of them while touching a wall you just see red text that says "Not usable in air".
  4. A 242 requirement will be more detrimental to the average player experience than beneficial. Queue times are already too long for Master Mode Flashpoints (even as a tank) and the rating requirement is not necessary thanks to bolster. All of the current Master Mode Flashpoints can be completed with augmented green 210 level 65 vendor gear. Putting up another wall for alts will just reduce the pool of able players who would otherwise be in the queue. PLEASE forget the idea of requiring a 242 rating wall for existing Master Mode Flashpoints.
  5. A 242 requirement for all HMFPS is a TERRIBLE idea. Bolster is a thing. Try using augmented gear with green 210 mods, enhancements, barrels, etc from the level 65 vendor. Every current HMFP can be completed easily. You will not miss any dps checks provided that you know your rotation.
  6. Auto respec toggles. Seamlessly toggle between tank and dps spec with bindings and utility points where you left them for preferred spec. Gear loadout tabs would be nice as well.
  7. I liked the 3.0-4.0 grind. It encouraged people to learn to play in lowbies so they could have a full set by max level. It was skill v. skill. Not skill v. skill+gear v. gear. If expertise isn't coming back then I as a player who grinded for full 248 would prefer my opposition to have a free hand out. PvP should be skill v. skill.
  8. Remove gear from the equation entirely for PvP. Give us stat budgets and sliders to adjust crit, alacrity, etc in between matches.
  9. If you're repeatedly seeing the same people on a team with more than 8 players they're abusing an exploit. The exploit was introduced in 5.0 and discovered shortly after. It's been reported repeatedly to the devs, but Bioware hasn't addressed it. I'm not going to say how it's done, because it's game breaking. Unfairness aside, matches will end early if too many players are forced into the match. (Game will think that the enemy team of 8 doesn't have enough and triggers the "game will end unless more players join" mechanic) The exploit is only possible in 70s by the way. So don't confuse it with the level up bug. Edit: Just read an earlier section of this topic. The exploit was clearly explained. RIP Warzone PvP.
  10. I doubt any devs will read this, but how about a compromise? The current proposed 5.0 RNG system rewards people have have the most time to play, dislike the expertise stat, and prevents Preferred and F2P players from being competitive in Warzones. How about considering a middle ground solution? I suggest low level gear that can be purchased individually from PvP vendors (similar to what we have now with set bonuses, with the exception of expertise) that bolsters to equal top tier raid gear while in war zones and open world PvP instances. This change would prevent the alienation of the previously stated groups of players and would not adversely affect people who prefer other game types because the gear would be non-competitive outside of a PvP environment.
  11. Not me. Just posting for a friend. Character Name - Justwin Guild - <Republic> Category - Damage Per Second Number - 3171.19 Warzone Code - CW http://i.imgur.com/fWo6t4z.jpg
  12. Yeah the parts do give you additional stats in wzs. Several threads have been posted on the subject, but Bioware keeps deleting the threads instead of fixing the problem. Censoring this issue without a quick patch just makes PvP more unbalanced moderators! It isn't fair to keep players ignorant of this issue! Many players are both knowingly and unknowingly using this bug so if you want fair competition purchase the cheap grade 1 parts at the fleet and spread word of this bug until it is fixed.
  13. As a juggernaut tank keep in mind that your priorities are damage redirection and crowd control. Not DPS. Learn to observe which targets the enemy is focusing and swap guard to those targets. Keep taunts on cool down by taunting the heavier hitting DPS and use stuns to prevent them from dealing damage all together. Not going to encourage you to be a scoreboard hero, but the stats you care most about should be protection and damage taken. Some advice for the future: Due to the difference between a PvE and PvP tanks priorities (you guard people, you don't generate threat) you're going to want to augment for endurance in end game. How I recommend quick and efficient guard swapping: Bind "target nearest ally" and "acquire target's target" to whichever keys work best for ya. (This piece of advice is more of my opinion/play style, but it works for me at least.)
  14. Hello combat team, PvP team, whoever it may concern: About once a month we at the Ebon Hawk host a guild summit meeting where multiple guilds discuss issues with the goal of improving our server’s community. The guilds involved feel that there is a need for a gear check. We would like to start a petition for a gear check that requires a total of 1900+ expertise for solo ranked war zones. If you agree that solo ranked should have an expertise requirement sign below!
  15. It's been several updates since 2.4. Can we expect to see the removal of free to play restrictions?
  16. "I re-rolled Imperial because I'm bad and want to be carried."
  17. I only view my off team as worthless if I see them wearing a PvE guild tag and inspect them to find they're wearing 180 rated armor + Obroan or Brutalizer relics. Most of my efforts to inform them about the bolster system as well as better alternatives for gear that bolsters well have just resulted in those players rudely insulting myself and anyone else who tries to help them. If you queue for only the relics you're worthless. You're never worthless if you're a little under geared, know your class, play objectives, and have a decent expertise bolster.
