You need the entire set on ONE toon to unlock it account wide - I've unlocked plenty of sets previously, just none from this event yet. This is why the new Cartel Wallet thing will be so nice...you'll be able to buy items on any toon and claim them on the toon you want to have them.

 

I was able to complete Jolee Bindos set. Not the most exciting set, but I already had two pieces so it was something, I guess.

That's actually not a bad look for force users...I'm jealous...I keep getting skirts...:(

I have to agree with this.

 

For those of us that have played since beta going on, this event is awful.

 

People have rolled on new servers to get character bound items on characters they won't touch again after the event is over. That is assuming they have any spaces left to make a new character.

 

I'm going to guess the companion and mounts will also be bound to one of the throw away characters being made now rendering those completely pointless.

 

Some people are happy with free stuff but it's free stuff on characters we'll never use. It was nice to see what popped out of those crates I got but then I instantly trashed it all because it was worthless and taking up bag space.

 

If it was legacy bound it wouldn't be so bad, we'd get some use out of it.

 

It's annoyed me a little bit because I only came back for this event to get some new things for my characters and they will get nothing out of it all.

 

It's my own fault for not reading into the event enough but I wasted a months sub when i'm not going to get a month out of it. I've got no use for new characters and less use for character bound stuff on new characters I won't use. Lesson learned, won't make the same mistake again.

 

 

Totally agree here.. Myself and a fair few of my friends lost any form of will to play this game since this event happened. I don't know if we're just fed up with how little the devs care about us, or if it's something else, but just.. ugh. At this point I'm hoping some new MMO will come around soon so I can move on, despite all the time and effort I put into characters here.

They are not retroactive. They can only be earned with an event character, which is any character created on or after June 28th when the event goes live.

That's crap. This completely screws people who have been playing the game the longest. Telling me I have to level 8 new characters, and max all the crew skills again--both of which I've done more than once already--is seriously insulting. Not to mention the material rewards are bound to the character that completes the achievement...not even legacy bound.

 

Do you people care about your customers at all?

Glad to see those who quit over this aren't all just retreating, and some are still showing opinions and displeasure with all of this. Although to answer the question you ask them: No, they don't care. This was a big money grab, buying CC for character slots, and so on.

One of the major problems with this event is the gifts are bound to that character. I got a double bladed light saber for my commando. They should of made the rewards legacy bound so you can actually use the items on the correct characters.

If you really want the item, you can unlock it for the entire account with your cartel coins in the collections section of the market.

I'm not quite sure: how is it calculated the percentage for the event? It's just a count of all characters created? Or like a count of which character get a tier of the event?

Since it is tracked via achievements I suppose it is the same as always: ratio of achievement points gained vs. achievement points available.

Seems like I misunderstood your question: I thought it was about the calculation of percentage of completion you can see in your legacy, but I guess you are targeting at the overall results dark vs light on your server?

 

I am not 100% sure but iirc it is computed out of all decisions taken during the event by DvL-chars granting light side or dark side points. So number of chars is not the important value, but choice matters .

Oh, I see.... It would be really cool to have it officialised, so we know what it does count!

I just finished Chapter 16. I got credit for Champion and Eternal. However I did not get credit for Legendary. When I looked to see why, it says I don't have Flashpoint Master. But I do indeed have Flashpoint Master (did all the HMs and they are all checked off in the Achievement on an DvL character) and it shows as done, but not for the final tier.

 

Please fix...

I just got my Champion and Eternal packs and after opening all those packs I noticed something. There was NO "Best of" anywhere in any of the packs I opened at all. Throughout opening these packs I was looking for just one, JUST ONE items that made me feel like this event was worth it however I guess you learn from your experience.

 

Darth Sion Armor = I think I have seen this drop from every box I have opened so far and these last two I get the crappy chest twice. I don't even remember players running around with this awful looking gear on so please tell me how does this become a part of "The Best Of?"

 

Well all in all I am now one of those players who will state: I will do my normal events but when you guys come up with something new I will just ignore it. This event was a disappointment and let down to anyone who went through it. Way to go guys!

They are deliberately delaying so more people purchase DvL packs off the cartel market. It's not a coincidence that people who a) already completed Flashpoint Master are bugged, and b) people who didn't complete it are now bugged in a different way with the result that no one completes Legend status.

 

This is just an underhanded effort to make more money selling cartel packs, and it's pathetic. If they were really this incompetent over such basic coding the responsible parties on their team would be fired, obviously.
