  1. Really, this can't be any worse. Pacing from Bioware has been pathetic, and there's no way I believe they have 70-80 devs working on THIS game. There's no chance - not for the content they release. I thank Bioware for YEARS of constant fun, and I look forward to years more to come from Mythic.
  2. I agree - it's beautiful, just seems to be scaled incorrectly.
  3. The bonus is now impacted by how many rooms you've unlocked, not having 100% decoration.
  4. Perfectly stated!!! There's nothing besides resources and decos to buy any longer, and those credits only go to other players, never removing anything from the game.
  5. This doesn't fix anything - it simply makes the game less enjoyable. The reason for inflation is resource scarcity. Make every resource in game available to buy with credits and you remove credits from the game. Sell gold augments on a vendor for 500mil each and you'll see inflation gone in a week because those credits would begin to leave the game, not just get tossed around to other players. Gold augments were the start of this spiral of devaluing currency. Speaking of currency - combine them. We have far too many. Nothing (aside from augments) is bought with credits any longer, just new currencies you add to the game, that's why it's out of control.
  6. Cartel coins are not the reason your economy is a flaming mess...resource rarity is. Make all materials available to purchase in-game for in-game credits at whatever you deem their value to be, and see the economy recover.
  7. Indeed it is. It's unfortunate...it really should have a better commitment from EA.
  8. I xompletely agree! Best addition in a long time.
  9. It's overly complex and needlessly confusing, especially to any new/returning player. We didn't need 5 different vendors in different areas. One vendor with all the armors would have sufficed. One token would have been better, but hell, we got like 10 of them between all the crap needed to actually upgrade something. It's a bad system and it screams of incompetence and inexperience.
  10. The way you cure the inflation is to sell every over priced item on the GTN for in-game credits. Everything from mats to Cartel items should be able to be purchased with game credits...that is how you reduce the number of credits in the game. When a single mat is so rare that it goes for 70million+, something is wrong. Make that mat more readily available and let people remove their credits from the game rather than just shuffling them around to other players.
  11. Agreed!!! Not having them be a base ability is beyond foolish.
  12. Great comments!!! I too don't give a flip about an apology or a live audience...just be honest. This stuff takes time to develop, we get it...just communicate better. We're all here because we love this game and we all want it to be better than it is.
  13. Who says this? Who makes that statement, only to prove how uninvolved they are, by admitting they have no idea what the outfit designer is? Nobody cares that you bought the game the first week and quit for 9.8 years...you're one of millions.
  14. The issue with gearing right now is that it's not friendly to many types of play. Using your analogy of baseball, it's like saying you can hit the ball however you want, but you'll only score your 1st point when it's the 1st pitch of the inning, second point on the 2nd pitch of an inning and you must be batting left handed if you're right handed. All other hits are meaningless because they won't improve your score (gear). I do everything from PvP, GSF, FPs and Ops, yet gearing is still *********** terrible imo.
  15. This should be a note TO the dev team, not from...this isn't from them.
  16. Congrats Eric! You earned your new role and I'm excited to see what you're able to accomplish.
  17. And I also agree with you. I believe that some of the current toxicity from players is because there are fewer believers amongst us as well who will stand up and disagree with the toxic people. In the past, for every toxic player in chat, there were at least a few good and hopeful people who would speak up, publicly, to disagree and defend the game. Those people are who we're currently missing. I've just noticed that there's very little "hope" and "excitement" left in players lately. There are some, and THANK YOU to those who speak up, it just seems like a cloud has washed over this game since 7.0's failures. It's sad to see.
  18. Although I do agree with your points about toxic players being horrible for the game, I also disagree that this is somehow the consumers fault. SWTOR suffers from a lack of care from the developers. 7.0 has driven off and upset a large number of players due to its incomplete release and broken promises, then add in the horrible backwards *** gearing system the developers implimented, followed by the news that they're moving backwards even further with 7.1 and how the gear drops will work with that operation...you couldn't devise a more damaging system if you tried. I am always willing to help new players and try to create a better community...but there's nothing I can do, nothing WE can do, to pretend that 7.0 and 7.1 are somehow 'okay'...they're not. Players are angry, upset and frustrated, as they should be. Players are frustrated because they love this game and wanted it to be better...I can't blame them. I accept no fault for how the community is...it's been created and fed by Bioware, not me. Put the blame where it belongs.
  19. I know several players who do that across various toons weekly, in multiple guilds, on both factions and on multiple classes. Not only do they know each class they play, they gear each class they play, they know multiple roles and participate in all sorts of activities, and they contribute to multiple guilds successes each week. I would argue that they put in far greater effort than anyone doing it on a single toon does. I think they should be rewarded better than anyone on a single character.
  20. THIS!!! Who's dumb enough to think a new "Star Wars open-world, stoty-driven" game would be a threat to SWTOR, which is a "Star Wars open-world, story-driven" MMO! Not even close...I mean really people... Although, "open-world, story-driven" does sound extremely familiar...and it's not like the "trinity" model of development is a growing market...
  21. Is the glass half empty or half full to you? Love your optimisim
  22. I paid for the last one and it still hasn't been released, so hell no.
