  1. I would call into question following the same low level player around killing them repeatedly, but just popping a random lowbie and moving on? Eh so what. You don't even lose anything here for it, it's probably a 30 second walk back to where you were.
  2. Agree, I've never once seen someone say "this game has no skill" and then perform well in it. It may not be a difficult game but there's certainly lots of little nuances that can set people apart. If there weren't, you wouldn't see teams (with sub optimal comps mind you) able to win consistently against other premades.
  3. If you get 8 medals you get the max medal reward, any more is just for looking pretty on the scoreboard.
  4. HOpefully the point of the picture is "you no longer have to look like this!" and not that they're implying someone might want to wear that helmet.
  5. I think it's great, it allows nodes to change possession without having to wipe out the entire area + respawns in time. Even so, it can also be countered. Just have to be more diligent about it. We don't need another WZ which consists of AOE raining down on doors/turrets so no one can even attempt to cap them for extended periods either.

As for how that helps our warzones, I guess it all depends on just how many servers they merge. I suppose if they really condensed them then cross server WZs wouldn't be as much of a priority, but who knows.
  7. I think recruit gear should just be outright free, then there's zero excuses, zero "couldn't get the money together yet dont feel like dailies", zero of any of it. Just free recruit gear right there in your face, free on the vendor. Any experienced player knows the cost of recruit gear is a joke, but that's not important. It still seems to be a problem for some people and there's no reason to not remove the problem, better for everyone (and some more people in your WZ queues, you want that don't you?)
  8. Keep in mind people that don't roll on PVP servers can still like PVP and may be simply opting out of the gank/be ganked while leveling business. PVE servers with good population have plenty of people queueing for WZs.
  9. I'm all for more options for PVP besides just warzones only, whatever they might be.
  10. Yep it's good. Hope it happens sooner than later. I guess this means their "target" servers for people to transfer to will be ones they want to keep open. Maybe after they gradually do character transfers as an option first to get a bunch of people to the new "super" servers, they'll do forced char transfers off the ones that didn't move when they're ready (and then close them).

  12. You can't turn in crafted items as your trade in component. You can't turn in a different type of item for your trade in, i.e turning a BM survivor chest in for a WH stalker chest. If you mouseover the item on the vendor it'll tell you exactly which item needs to be turned in. You CAN turn in a BM item that you purchased from the vendor previously, and then took out/switched the mods from for whatever reason. Also as an aside, when you buy war hero items and pull the mods out to put them in augmented orange gear, I'd hold on to the original WH items in the bank or something. Maybe we'll need to turn those in for conquerer gear or something later.

  14. This is the kind of thing cross server WZs would fix. With cross server WZs, there'd be a large enough pool of players that they could start splitting premades and pugs etc. Also of course rated WZs, which by nature pair you up with other people of similar rating (i.e your new 50 alt won't be paired against the nasty geared players with high rating). It'd be fun for everyone I think. Also encourage more people to level those new alts to 50 and join WZs themselves, since they'd feel more comfortable with who they play against. Most importantly, it'd get more people logging in to queue up in general.
  15. Those teams of stunlocking operatives are at it again. No one is safe. I was waiting in line at the grocery store and then BAM person ahead of me got put in a stunlock and just unsubbed, they disappeared. It saved me time in line though.

  17. If you don't have a level 50 human, consider buying the legacy human "unlock". +100 presence for all characters on your legacy is massive and it's the cheapest one at 500k i believe
  18. I lol'd. Is the other guy a nice person? It'd be a shame if you didn't get along. If you don't get along, I guess you could settle it with some world pvp!
  19. For people changing to RP-PVE servers, Lord Adraas or Ebon Hawk are your best bets. Two most populous RP servers by a fair margin.
  20. From what I've learned on MMO forums, whatever the majority enjoys is not real pvp...and the other thing is real pvp.
  21. Bad strat. This happens in pugs. Brawls start and they just don't stop. They see some people fighting and jump in, regardless of whether that's a good spot to fight at or not. Probably a chain reaction just cuz 1-2 people picked a fight early in that spot.

    Just need to rework the talent trees so disjunction is lower in the darkness tree where 31 point deception and/or madness specs can get it. Wouldn't help your burst but it'd certainly help uptime on target and survivability.
  23. Sages get hit hard enough in pvp gear. In PVE gear you'll get absolutely blasted.
  24. Regarding disjunction, I really think it should be moved lower in the darkness tree. It's easily the best talent available in all three trees. The fact that 31 point builds in deception and madness can't get (since it's an 11 point darkness talent) it is the big reason why you see so many tankasins...though they may take it for granted and not really understand how great the talent is since they've never played without it. As soon as you spec a build without disjunction, you immediately have several hard counter classes due to not being able to force speed to break roots. This would be a phenomenal talent even if it didn't add 2 seconds to force shroud. The fact that it does just makes it the best. Everyone knows how good force shroud is and making it last 5 seconds instead of 3 is the difference between night and day. Allowing for disjunction to be spec'd into by 31 point madness/deception assassins would GREATLY improve their viability and you'd see a lot more of them. I don't think it'd make them too good, I do think it would make them complete specs though, worthy of selection on a regular basis.
