  1. Step 1: Buy war hero gear (Good job! Most people don't make it this far and just complain on the forums) Step 2: Remove armoring/mod/enhancement from war hero gear. Put empty shell in the bank, maybe you'll need it later to exchange for conquerer gear or something. Step 3: Place armoring/mod/enhancement in orange augmented gear of your choice. Make sure the armoring goes to the same type of item, WH chest armoring should be put in orange augmented chestpiece etc. Step 4: Put augment in your augmented orange gear. Step 5: World domination.
  2. We've all seen them. The people entering lev 50 warzones that didn't get recruit gear. But beyond that, what's the worst that you've seen? Today we had a marauder with one empty relic slot, one level 27 alacrity relic (great for speeding up those marauder cast times), an assortment of mid 30s greens, and his biggest treasure: Some low 40s blue implant (and it was an aim implant).
  3. I liked 10-49 the first time around. It isn't really much fun to me now though as I've leveled alts. I get frustrated when people don't follow the most basic of warzone objectives (pass the ball in huttball, having someone guard a node etc) and you can count on a big spoonful of that in the 10-49 games. People are too busy bragging about how much leet dps they did on their level 23 powertech (speaking of which, get ready to hear that railshot powering up sound effect a lot because everyone and their mother rolled a PT in the last month it seems)

    Really?

Try again I guess? I mean there's not much else to say here. The only times I've failed to get a medal in a WZ was when I joined and the game ended 30 seconds later or something. This includes my first time walking into a WZ with no gear, along with several alts that have also walked into WZs recently with no gear. It's easier now, you have the recruit gear to grab. Even if the enemy team is full of 14 slot war heroes, you'll still get a few medals. When I hear "getting 2 shot" I assume you didn't get that. Go get recruit gear.
  5. The 100 valor title, instead of being words, should just be a small picture of the face of that guy from the "Make love not Warcraft" southpark episode the fat guy with the acne. It would float next to your name.
  6. It'd be funny having a faction of hutts just for the idea of seeing a bunch of fat hutt players sliding around (Hutts don't have feet)
  7. If they did this I would just unsub on principle alone. That would take a lot of guts for them to try to pull and I wouldn't want to be a part of their game anymore.
  8. I'd be fine with it if people had the option to turn the ability for people to see others on their legacy off. I don't want people knowing all my alts because they friended me. Some chars I just want to be left alone.
  9. Three weeks to hit PTS, a month on the test server, then whatever it is you're looking forward to...they can cancel that and announce it for 1.4 "maybe".
  10. I haven't bought a single legacy unlock and I have 32 million credits. I guess at some random point maybe I'll buy a race if I decide I want some particular race on an alt. You know what my participation in the legacy system has been? Completing companion storylines for the buffs and doing the alts to get all the class buffs. That's it. Would be nice if they gave us something GOOD to buy (expensive or not) On that coming soon tab I see two things worth buying. Increased sprint speed and increased crit chance for companions while crafting. Using speeders at level 10 is alright, lets be nice and make it three. So three things so far over the course of months of legacy implementation, none of which are even in yet. They've done a pretty crappy job at making me part with my money on what they've done so far. GTN on my ship? That's their current big one. High legacy level and it is expensive. If you don't do dailies there's no reason to leave the fleet at level 50 and there's a GTN there already. Rocket boots. It's a mount with a cooldown. You can use it a few places you can't mount. Better to have than not I suppose. Worth spending millions on? Not even if you're rich.
  11. It's definitely advanced stuff for them. This is the same company that said they need the tech to put the vendors back in WZs but not allow you to sell to them.
  12. I liked the High Warlord title from WoW but to have the top 2 pvp titles be the exact same ones as the ones from vanilla WoW would give certain people a lot of ammunition to trash the game (and there's enough of that to go around already).
  13. Part of Jedi and Sith training requires all apprentices to stand for 6 months in a subway while wearing leather clothes and have hacking contests to prove their worth.

The YEAH nerf is incoming I assure you, one day it'll just be a meager "I guess" that you can barely hear.

I hate the trooper knockback. Not because of the mechanics, but because I hate being knocked back while the enemy goes YEAHHHHH
  16. The bunker is to prevent people from capping the node in a 360 degree area all around it. It'd be far too difficult to stop everyone from capping if they were that spread out. As it is it takes some work to stop everyone if people are spread out in the arc you can currently cap from. Being in the bunker also gives you LOS protection from attacks against anyone that isn't in that arc.
  17. I think the titles could come back to where they started. 100 valor = MASTER skirmisher!

    Tank vs Heal

You can save a lot of lives by using guard in conjunction with target of target. When you see someone on your team being beat on by someone and near death, target the enemy, then in one smooth motion hit taunt, hit alt+t (target of target), hit guard (I have mine hotkeyed to alt+r, next to alt+t). Taunt is off the GCD, target of target obviously is, and then guard. Can all be done as fast as you can hit the keys. Not only will taunt + guard obviously increase your targets survivability, there's a good chance the person beating on them is resource starved since they probably took the person low on hps. They're probably hanging out near overheating, low on force, energy running down etc...pick a resource. They used it to hurt the person. People can take a lot longer than you think to finish someone off that's at 15% hps in this situation after you taunt and guard. Meanwhile your injured teammate not only gets more lifetime to be hitting back, they have more breathing room to use some sort of defensive cooldown, use their medpac if it's off cooldown etc. Do this often, watch your entire team's performance consistently improve, regardless of who you are playing with, pug or premade. Make it a habit. Someone hurt? Taunt, target of target, guard. Even if you were guarding a healer, drop it for a bit and save the person. You can put it back on the healer once things have played out.
  19. From what you've said in your post about following leaders, attacking enemies your teammates are targeting, and not going off on your own solo, you have already put yourself in the top 10% of pvpers.
  20. I wish all classes could have these arguments, where all the trees are viable in their own way.
  21. I think our sub fee should be 25 cents for each dev post on the forums more than 2 lines long during your billing cycle, up to a max of $15.
  22. If the match actually ends in the first 30 seconds I don't think anyone should win. Not by cointoss, not by more/less populated team, not by anything. Give everyone 30 wz comms to compensate for the few minutes of time wasted and kick them out.
  23. Have you seen how small the antenna is on the pvp mission terminal? It should be much larger than that to reach all these players pvping all over the galaxy. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED ASAP
  24. Main stat does get the % bonus from the inq/consular buff so there is that. As an operative you have that talent that increases your cunning by a % as well, so more cunning for this should be good. This may set cunning over the edge vs power. That said I don't think anyone's really parsed the difference between cunning/power etc in terms of comparing which would be better. Probably depends on exactly what your stats are currently. The difference is going to be extremely minor regardless. I would go with the 18 cunning/12 end ones personally. If I had 18 power/12 end augments in my inventory already, I'd just go ahead and throw them in though. Doing something other than cunning/endurance or power/endurance is not recommended. Stats like crit and surge will easily soft cap without augments as you gear up.
