  1. All they do is put the patch on the PTS, then go do tequila shots for a few weeks then deploy it. Occasionally someone gets bored and accidentally changes something which might correspond with some player feedback, that's about it though. Anything involving not only "listening" but "acting on what we just heard" is not part of this company's business model anymore.
  2. If they ever are capable of doing more than 8 v 8 warzones, a huttball map with more than one ball could be pretty neat with the right map layout.
  3. I didn't make the post to attempt to derail anyone else having fun with the game. If you're having fun with the game, then play, that's great. There's no ulterior motive here to try to get other people to stop playing at all. I put a lot of time into the game, then got discouraged and left. I decided to briefly share why. That's really all there was to it. You aren't going to see me on tomorrow posting in other people's threads about how the game sucks and I unsubbed, and how stupid everyone is for enjoying whatever they're doing. There's enough of that to go around already. In fact for it's faults there's some mechanics from this game I'm going to miss if/when I move on to some other MMO. 1. The companions are well done and a boon to the game. 2. I love the out of combat heal to quickly keep you moving from fight to fight with little/no downtime. 3. I could get into complaining about what other stuff we should be able to make from crafting, but the core concept of just clicking a button anywhere to get some materials a while later, or being able to craft things without needing to go to some blacksmithing anvil or something, is fantastic. 4. Huttball is awesome. Baron Deathmark is especially awesome. This is the main thing I'll miss. If every game from now on could have huttball, I would be down with it. For the next year on and off I'm going to have "LETS PLAY HUTTBALLLLLL" and "ROTWORMS SCORRRRRREEEE!" in my head. =P
  4. Yeah it was a pretty good survey I just took it now, thanks for pointing it out. I made a side email just for this game and probably wouldn't have checked it again if you hadn't mentioned this.
  5. Laughing operatives were making people unsub
  6. Been playing WZs for a very long time now. Probably played about 1500 of them I'd estimate. Definitely over 1000 at least. Yesterday I logged in and realized...you know I'm bored with this now. Long since gotten all the PVP gear I can get, could finish maxxing out gear on some other chars, don't really feel like it though. Problem is, there's truly nothing else to do whatsoever. So I just unsubbed. I could have hung around for rateds, would have done fine, no problem there. It's still the same warzones and I'm tired of just standing by the stupid pvp terminal because there's nothing else worth doing in this game. Months from now I'm sure they'll add...well another warzone. One warzone. When I joined this game I didn't even join with the goal of PVPing. I just ended up there since it takes forever loading through a bunch of crap to go anywhere, vs the WZ queue where you just click the button. At 50 PVE gear goals are easily met and the operations...well I'm just not feeling them. They aren't terrible but it doesn't really feel worthwhile either, maybe I've just done endgame raiding in enough games now that I don't want to do it anymore, just isn't that fun. So you get stuck at the PVP terminal. There certainly isn't any reason to leave it for pvp. The tradein vendor is there, the gear guys are there, and the GTN is a 15 second trip away if you're feeling saucy. In fact other than dailies, at 50 there's no real reason to even leave the fleet for PVE. I didn't even bother with dailies. With a little practice you easily can find harvest missions for several crafting skills with materials that sell for more on the GTN than the mission costs. That's all I ever did to raise money and I got way more of it than I needed to spend on anything. Since I already uninstalled I couldn't tell you how much I have, it's over 20 million though just from sitting on the fleet, that's after buying every single thing one could want to spend money on. Don't really know what the point of my post is. Posted here a fair bit. Just saying goodbye I guess. Take care everyone.
  7. My Tankasin has 42% armor mitigation in full War Hero gear. Hopefully you aren't claiming that jugg tanks and PTs have that same amount, as they go well above 50% =P
  8. SWTOR: The only game where it's so hard to get out of combat even dying isn't good enough.
  9. Well they're never going to ignore the PVE crowd. You can surely expect to see many more PVE centric things added like flashpoints and OPs.
  10. Worst part is making civil war playable against the same faction. Most boring WZ in the game and now I'll have to play it more than I do now.
  11. Probably some sort of madness spec will be preferred. Deception wasn't unplayable but it wasn't particularly hot either. Playing deception without the burst from adrenal/relic is going to give your opponents a lot more opportunity to use all their tools to get you away from them where you'll miss the chance to kill your "target of opportunity" and then likely be attacked by others (where you'll then die due to squishiness, or even at best be unable to stealth). Concealment operatives will also suffer here for the same reason where they weren't even particularly good today. They need to revamp the talent trees so both 31 point madness and deception trees have access to disjunction (which is currently an 11 point darkness talent so you can't get at it). Both specs really want force speed that break roots and they can't do it. Sadly even though tankasins have been nerfed severely, deception and madness are bad enough off that I think tankasins are STILL probably the best choice.
  12. "When entering a warzone as a concealment operative after patch 1.3 deploys, the song "How could this happen to me?" by Simple Plan will play on loop. This song is in line with concealment operative metrics".
  13. BW thought everyone was complaining about the Tank spec and accidentally nerfed the wrong thing
  14. I feel really bad for concealment ops. No on demand burst with relic/adrenal is going to be miserable.
  15. Tank gear won't raise their mitigation. Armor is the same on dps and tank gear. They'll heal worse in tank gear than they heal in tank gear right now, they'll take more damage in tank gear than they do now. It's across the board. They'll also be worse in tank gear than other classes in tank gear. They already had lower mitigation than other tanks (42.06% in WH gear vs over 52% for other tank classes in tank stances) and made up for it with the healing. They lowered the mitigation and lowered the healing.
  16. TANKASINS: Harnessed Darkness: The healing generated by force lightning has been reduced to 8% total (down from 12%). Dark Charge now generates 100% additional threat while active. The healing generated by this ability has been reduced by approximately 50%. Its armor bonus has been reduced to 115% (down from 150%). one minor buff: Spike will cost 20 force (It costs 30 now). So they drop tankasin's mitigation by a fair bit AND lower their healing by a fair bit. Pretty severe. It's actually going to be a pretty meh spec now. Assassins will now have 3 meh specs to choose from. Then we get to... POWERTECHS: Supercharged Ion Gas now increases Ion Overload damage by 25%. While Ion Gas Cylinder is active, Rail Shot triggers your Ion Gas Cylinder on the target and up to 4 additional nearby targets. This damage does not affect sleeping, lifted, or incapacitated enemies. This generates a high amount of threat. Flame Shield: The critical chance bonus applied to Rocket Punch and Flame Sweep has been reduced to 8% per point. Flame Surge now increases the damage dealt by Flame Sweep by 6% per point and causes Jet Charge to grant 1 charge of Flame Surge per point, which makes the next Flame Sweep free of cost. This skill now requires Jet Charge instead of Flame Shield. Apparently DPS PTS are fine, wha...? and... MARAUDERS: The responsiveness of Retaliation and Gore has been increased. Carnage Gore: This ability now costs 1 Rage and is no longer limited by the global cooldown. Its damage has been reduced, and the duration of its armor penetration debuff has been reduced by 1.5 seconds to ensure the effective duration is the same. They mess with gore...and that's it. facepalm
  17. Just to keep the trend going I hope they give operatives some random nerf for lulz. Something that doesn't really matter but can still be called a nerf. Like just randomly reduce the range on corrosive dart from 30m to 28m. "The range on corrosive dart was exactly 2m too far according to our metrics".

  19. LOL yeah that'd be hilarious. It'd be really rough for any 10-49 trying to run warzones for a few months for sure. Random level 33 player guarding voidstar door: "Feelin pretty good right now, got some nice talents going, picked up a few purples on the GTN." Bored lev 50 looking to advance: "LOL 1300 EXPERTISE *leaps into crowd at voidstar door, one shots entire team with smash*" Random level 33 player waiting in spawn: "Knew I should have put in those augments"
  20. I think it'd be great. Many lesser played specs would really become complete specs with that one extra point. 31 point Deception and Madness Assassins being able to get disjunction in darkness (force speed breaking roots, 2 more seconds on force shroud)? Instantly viable specs in pvp.
  21. So far the only thing they've stated is intentions to buff DPS Merc viability and improvements to the sniper talent tree setup I believe.
  22. Do NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT exchange rated wz comms for regular wz comms. You're going to load up on BM gear within days regardless. The rated wz comms are worth more than regular wz comms, you know this from doing the tradeins. I won't argue the points on exactly which stuff to get first. But whatever you end up doing, it should involve spending those rated wz comms on a WH item(s), never should a strategy of trading ranked wz comms for regular wz comms enter into the equation.
  23. If you use your heroic moment it shouldn't be a big problem if you aren't seriously underleveled. Pretty sure I beat her on first try. Use your 4 second interrupt on the AOE. If she tries it again and you don't have the interrupt ready in time, use overload to knockback. If she tries it again, interrupt should be back by then. If you get caught in a situation where both your knockback and interrupt are on cooldown, use electrocute to stun her and fill in that gap. After you've interrupted, done a knockback, probably interrupted again, then stunned, then either interrupted or knock backed again still...she's gotta be getting close to being dead. Have a good medpac available, use a stim etc, should be able to win without much trouble. If you're level 30+ and all in darkness, you have out of stealth spike available too for a 2 sec stun (yet another interrupt) so there's more than enough to get things done.
  24. And some of next year left too after it gets pushed back a few times.
  25. I'm glad people are looking forward to this new companion. But... After I spend about 20 minutes (probably much less than that too) watching through his entire storyline after I quickly max his affection, isn't this going to be about the same as the other companions I don't use? Hopefully there's more to it than that.
