When did you role-play on an RP server if you hit 50 in December? Kinda missed the RP part of the reason to roll on an RP server in the first place, don't ya think?

I would say yes, and not til then. If they give it early you will get some people who say well I used them to roll more of the same faction and have no where to roll my opposite faction, even though they were told then needed a character on both sides.

Ok for those that don't want to roll the oppisite faction here is the way you get the new HK-51 Companion. First you have to have 4 level 50's Purchased VIP wristbands for at least 2. Purchase the speeder from the VIP vender. The call CS and while talking to them take a picture of you self standing on one leg and say I want my HK-51 companion. Then send it to Bioware at Onelegged-HK-51@SWTOR.com Then you picture will be posted to the SWTOR Facebook page. You will receive your companion via in game Bounty-hunter assassination attempt on your character. If you survive then the companion becomes yours. If not. HK-51 will go into hiding and try to kill you 2 weeks later. This will continue until you defeat HK-51. This offer is subject to change without notice.

You are right they should just scrap the whole HK-51 companion and give us carebear companions. With rainbows and sunshine. I can say what others say to. If they don't leave it as double faction requirement. I will unsub!

Why don't you roll a character on the test server and help test. You will find out first hand how the LFG tool works. besides these are test and subject to change with feedback.

The issue may be your guild mate decide they want to try and get this companion and roll Republic and here you are ranting about an optional companion. No one is forcing you to play any different than you play now. They are just saying hey if you want to be with the cool kids do this and you have this new vanity bonus droid companion. Just like all the other companions. A Jedi can't have Vette. And Sith Warrior can't have Kira. You have to roll the class that gets those companions. HK-51 isn't just for everybody it is for those who want to work for it. He refuses to be handed out on a silver platter. Just like PVP gear isn't for everyone one. Only those that PVP. There is a feeling of acomplishment with gaining something you have to work for. HK-51 is to give level 50's who have nothing better to do than complain there is nothing to do, something to do.

First most mini patches are to take care of exploits or to rectify a bug. They aren't going to tell you what the exploits are so there is no need to test them on a PTS. The bug they will get immediate feedback from those that the bug affected. (not everyone is affected by the bug). Second, everyone is not going to go to the tests server to test minor patches. They barely get the few they have to go there and test major patches as it is. Most people want to keep plugging along on the main servers because well the test servers don't mean anything. Are you signed up on the test server to test patches? Have you applied to have your character transferred there for the 1.3 test?\ Which by the way is most likely how they are going to test the transfer process. If the tool doesn't work like it should then they will manually transfer the characters so you can help test 1.3.

Really who cares what the ratio of boys to girls are. The point is there are also children playing this game. No one should be worried about the sort of things the OP is worrying about. It is a game. Just a game. Rated for teen and up. Not an adult Match making service. Exactly. We are just here to escape for reality and have some fun. (Also the reason chat sucks most of the time. People want to talk about politics, religion, ect,)

Rule of thumb.... Assume all players are dudes, then when you join a guild with a vent you might be pleasantly surprised to find out that dude was a girl.
