WOW brought down the forums every time there was an update, patch because it always seem to get extended. And yes they bring them down because everyone would be posting here. I counted no less than 10 thread that were open an hour before the scheduled time for servers to go down and a few started just to announce that the time to take down the servers was put off till 5am. And yet here we are in another thread complaining that the forums had went down also, which they have been doing since the beginning.

Can have someone that is going to need on gear that some else needs. So kick him. It is sad but people do it. I usually don't do FP's because people want to rush through them just to get the goodies. I usually haven't done them before so the Newb gets kicked. It is sad but people do it. That is the problem with the instant generation. The want everything handed to them and they want it now. No time to show the new guy, no need to bring the one that might need your gear. The kick isn't going anywhere and dps are a dime a dozen. If they wait a while to get into a que they usually think twice about a healer or tank. (I is going to roll one and learn to heal, but then again being a member of a guild has its benefits.)

I just read in another thread that if you put people in your ignore list. The they will no longer be matched up with you in the LFG tool. Hmm wonder if that is why some are having problems getting into a group now because they have made a nuisance of themselves even before the tool went live.

This is the very reason some people are advocating for x-server LFG tool so that can get away with the above. But in my opinion if you are a healer and you have trouble getting in a group then you have the right to complain. If you are a tank and you have trouble getting into a group then you have a right to complain. Everyone else either needs to wait or reroll a healer or tank.

Speaking of Experience. The Experience goes down for the appropriate leveled characters if a higher level character is in their group. So I say Bio did a good job with the Group Finder Tool.

The have the technology to change the Voices. But most likely if they did an alien species (and the Dev have stated this themselves) They would have to give them their own story, VO's as they would most likely respond differently to NPC's and companions. A Wookie smuggler might get it on with or her Wookie companion. They could also have different companions for these alien species and a different set of classes. This would most like be done for a big box expansion, not a content patch.

As I have already stated previously the way around it is this. We the player, portraying the Wookie (or other alien species) understand that language. The VO's can be in the language of the Listener. (English, German, French) Unless the NPC is another wookie, their VO's would be the alien gibberish with subtitles.) It is such an easy fix. /sarcasm on Or some language professor can create a true Wookie Language and we can all learn it, take an exam and if we pass we can be a wookie. /sarcasm off

In regards to new alien species being added. Could not the alien species be a class onto itself? And could not the VO's for the aliens be in English or what ever language, while the VO's for those not of alien species reply be in the alien gibberish/subtitles? We are after all playing the part of the alien species and are supposed to be able to understand the alien species language.

I am calling a random FP that has never been seen before. Geared for whatever group range you have selected in the LFG tool. It can only be accessed by using the LFG tool. The group is randomly drawn into this FP. Prize is unique title. and a mini boss pet. And wild card commendations to be used at a special vendor.

The decisions that are made for this server affect every server as it is a change in there policy. I pay money for the service too and I was only allowed the choice of once server that was effectively chosen for me. But here is another little reason I have been holding back as to why they have done what they have done. They will make more money by everyone trying to get to where they want to go. Whether it be to a friends server. To consolidate all there characters. Or you to move to an RP server. EA said "Tell them it is Cake and let them eat it". But alas it was only bread with sugar sprinkled upon it. EA wants our money in paid transfers. (Unfortunately I will probably pay to get my high level character to where he wants to go.) So yes the decision made here if there is another transfer to get where you wanted to go. Others will cry out foul and stamp there feet and Chant just as has been going on here. I will cancel my sub. The whole community is watching.

I hope we can have both. I like space missions, Space trade. So unless they can incorporate those in one space simulator. I would like to have both. I used to love playing Elite Plus.

That is the way WOW free transfers work. The destination transfer is only one server. When you pay for a transfer to any server you want. You submit a request and then someone manually transfers your character. This is why it takes a bit longer. Why would BW do it differently? They probably bought the code and adapted it to the server system. Game companies don't write all their own code anymore. Take the Hero Engine for example.
