  1. They fired the guy making the hum noise we all heard.
  2. Thus is why the are asking for people who want to have there characters manually transferred to the test server. And the point for making the test server the first massively huge servers is that the testing on the new features in place would not be valid if the test server didn't correspond to the servers that they were destine to go upon. If they don't then it is like saying we tested these tires on a Hugo traveling at 25 miles per hour. They should be good for your Indy race car going 100 miles per hour. The test equipment has to match for the test to be valid.
  3. It would seem you have answered your own question until the server merges/transfers occur.
  4. I am hoping that the so called call for people to test out 1.3 on the test server is that they are converting the test server to the first Massively huge server. Cause it is kind of dumb to keep the test server as one of the old servers when they are converting to these new Massively huge servers. So the new servers at this point since no one wants to use the word super servers shall hence forth be know as MH-servers. (Massive Huge Servers).
  5. It stands to reason that Bioware likes to copy what others have done. Others have created super servers when they suffered low population. But if it isn't what we think they said, I will admit I am wrong. But it could very well not be what you thought they said also. Will you admit you were wrong?
  6. That is also one of my problems. More than the server limit of character spread out over several servers. I also want more characters per server if they are limiting the number of servers by making them super servers.
  7. Here is the quote. It comes from an interview with PC Gamer about the "group finder tool". No where does it say they are increasing the population of current servers. It says a MOVE TO. It would not need to use the words move to if they were planning on using the same servers they are using now. SERVERS WITH MASSIVELY HIGHER POPULATION CAPS - does not mean doubling the caps that are present right now upon the servers. So one could speculate Super Servers in that connotation even though it doesn't come out and say super servers. DC Online had done the same thing with its low population servers. http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/loadNews/20471/Super-Servers-are-on-Their-Way

  9. You have to add the alt to the legacy tree to be able to send mail to him or her. Edit:forget post I see you snuck in an edit of your own.
  10. For one day only, Ewoks will be released randomly throughout the server to be eradicated by both the Republic and Sith forces.
  11. VO is what made SWTOR stand apart from other MMO's in the first place. Without it, SWTOR might as well be WOW with lightsabers. Funny how this question has popped up after the Layoffs. Sounds like a Bioware plant testing the waters of how to cut the budget to save the future of the game. I suppose one must do what one must do with whatever resources that are left, but I for one do not like the suggestion of changing a major selling point of the game.
  12. Outside of what Bioware has set for gear level for each instance there should not be any extra gear requirement. But for those that want to go the elitist route Bioware should include 2 check boxes for the LFG tool. 1. Elitist (People to don't want to help others and have fun, we will kick you if you are not geared to our standard.) 2. Casual (People who are willing to have fun with others and teach them if needed. How else are they going to learn unless the have a chance to experience being wiped out, whether it being gears on the low end. The point of doing these instances are to get better gear.) Bet you will find a lot of those so called elitist checking casual when they can't group very often.
  13. Seeing that these quest are totally optional in the first place and there is not a need to do them unless you do get a group together you can ignore doing them all together by going to you quest log and unclicking them, abandon them or not getting the quest in the first place. I see no need to get rid of these quest at all. Move along, Move along... These are not the quest you are looking for. (It is a role playing game can't you pretend the quest aren't there without really having the game changed just for your benefit?)
  14. The fact that they have tip over their cash cow in orders to revive the cow who are being put out to pasture. Cows can die from being tipped over.
  15. I for one am disappointed about not getting 30 days free. I was waiting for 1.2 before advancing my character to the higher levels with the legacy rules being implemented. I have been subbed since day one. 1.2 is broken and not working. So now I am unsubbing before I am billed again for what has become a useless game in my opinion.
  16. You are leveling to 50 because it would be silly to just sit in the newbie zone and chat about why am I paying for this chat service. All people talk about is leveling to 50.
  17. That is because people that have done it before you have been visited by men in black and mysteriously disappeared. In fact I shouldn't even be typing this because they could come and get me any...........
  18. Or post in this thread where you might even get an answer from Bioware http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=309056
  19. Since there are so many questions being asked would you consider raising the questions answered to 20 per week? 21 if you actually answer mine.
  20. Wow was released in 2004 The Wowhead database is the result of 6 months of hard work, and was released in June 2006 http://www.wowhead.com/aboutus Tor was released Dec 20, 2011, Torhead was brought up around same time. The database is just over a month old. Most players have not played through the bosses to know every single thing it drops to even enter the information. Oh have you contributed to the Torhead database?
  21. Going with you most likely play mostly on the weekend we will substract 12 hours from your 28 leaving 16 hours divided by 5 days which is 3.2 hours a day. Half of the down time most likely doesn't effect you so that leaves 1.6 hours you missed because of scheduled maintenance. So you lose appoxamintly 12 hours out of a possible 720 hours worth of subscription fee. You knew there would be time taken for patches because patches were announced before the game even launched. You aren't really losing that much play time. Quit being so dramatic. /Your math doesn't add up.
  22. Sounds a lot like huttball, You have the NFL = Swtor AFC - Republic NFC - Empire NFC will play other NFC teams. They should create a server that is independent of the other servers. (call it the Draft Server) Random placement on Empire or Republic server by population totals. Special gear for that server only at high levels 1 character per server that can not be deleted. (once places always places) Special account title for reaching level 50 on this server. (such as For the Empire, or For the republic) only displayable by other characters of same fraction. Once you hit 50 it will open up the next character slot (random draft again as far as the side you play on) Put in a Flashpoint every 5 levels that is mandatory to continue leveling requiring a party of 4 people (not 2 people and companions.) Just an idea
  23. WoW and SWTOR both have a W and O in their names. It must be the same.
