Advance classes are just what they are. Different Classes. Not the respecting of talent trees. There are in reality 16 different classes in this game. Each class has its own set of 3 trees which to put your points into. These trees you can respect not the AC. This is not WOW there are some differences. And as you said this is a game breaker for you. But you can't speak for everyone cause it isn't for me. In this case this is probably not the MMO you are looking for, move along, move along.

This is the way all MMO's with a subscription work. Go by the starter kit for WOW it has a free month also. They will require you to put in a CC or timecard to play. SWTOR is no different.
