The technical difficulties isn't the fact that they can go from PVE to PVP. It is going to PVE or PVP. Or in this case. From RP-PVP to PVP or RP-PVE. They can only chose one server as a destination server. For some they chose right for some they choose wrong.

My situation is unique to. I have characters on multiple servers and would like to move all the bigger ones to one server. I am sure others are in this situation. Others want to change to a server to be on the same one as their friends. This is a unique situation. And if it had been the other way around. People would be claiming that they wanted to go to an PVP server because PVP is important to them. There were to sides to this coin. BW chose one. You are not happy with the choice. As someone else would not have been happy with the other choice. We were all told to reroll on another server when our populations dropped. Roll on Jedi Covenant, Roll on Fatman. Were you told to roll on another server? (If not may I take this time to...) As you said you are waiting on clarification. I don't think there needs to be clarification with what has be stated. What we need to wait on is to find out what the next phase of transfers is going to be.

Everyone believes their own circumstances are a special situation. A transfer by any other name is still just a transfer. The clear cut destination server is the one they chose for you, just like they chose the one for me. No one else got a choice why do you think you deserve one. Policy is a good ground to stand upon. While the RP'ers have the own proplem with not being allowed to choose a choice of servers. There is another group who have characters on multiple servers that would like to consolidate them to one server but do not have that option at this time. If they allow one group to do it, then they would have to let everyone do it. I myself would like to move my PVP Imperial to join my PVE republic character on the same server? Is this going to happen. Not in this stage of the transfers. What other stages will there be? We have to wait and see. But hey I think they should have waited until they had a fully functional transfer system before letting anyone transfer. When would this be? December???

You idea is duly noted and we have check into this service. Unfortunately the shuttles being used by the Fleet To Planet company (FTP for short) is rather slow and outdated. It would take twice as long as they do not reach the speeds of your own personal ship. We are thinking of converting the entire fleet to the new and improved Fleet Astro Shuttle Pods (FASP for short) These pods will instantaneously get you to where you are going with only a 50 percent chance of error. But hey faster is faster. (These pods are modified Pod racers that circumnavigated a unpopulated moon until missiles tragically blew it apart.)

Or they haven't found a solution on how to assign a choice of destinations to multiple servers. Which why would there be a need for this in the future? This free transfer is a batch process. Any future transfers will be to only one designated server and handled individually. Giving people a choice, they would have to individually go in and assign each person their choice of server and I don't think they want to pay someone for a player to have his choice of servers. WOW's transfer system works in the same way. When they offer free transfers it is one server to another designated server. Paid transfers are handled individually. So unless BW is trying to implement programming to allow for this choice of multiple destinations. (By multiple I mean any server available) I don't see this happening.

If I remember correctly the Rp'ers fought for the RP-PVP server because they thought the PVP aspect was important to them. They were not content to be on just a regular RP server. They wanted their own guild deployment to these RP-PVP servers. Guess what? Bioware gave in and provided these for you. So in retrospect I can see why they came to the conclusion that PVP was important to you all and designated the servers to which you may go.

Datacrons are meant to be hard to get, time consuming and for every alt to gather. You have to put in the work to benefit from these optional stat bonuses. You might as well be saying next. "Hey BW, lets make the top end raid gear mods legacy bound. I just don't feel like doing raids on all my alts to get this stuff."

No one is restricting them. They are just rare. Otherwise it would be "Thunder Cats with lightsabers" And it is only my point of view of how it should work. It would also satisfy both sides of which people prefer. Character Creation or Legacy Unlock. You can have both.

I think it should be in the character creation. People might come back to play a new race if they don't have to jump through hoops to get to it. Character creation for Trooper, Smuggler, Imperial Agent, Bounty Hunter. Legacy Unlock for force user. Or a quest unlock of killing 200 Cathars and collecting their pelts. Then Synthweaving them into a cat suit. This will unlock the Cathar species. I think that would be the Cat's Pajamas!

You get the ship free, and the droid really flies it. You just tell him where you want to go. He has no need of sitting in the captains chair and lets you. This is also the main reason you can't chuck the robot out the airlock.

What if it is in the deeps of space? I hear it is cold out there. The new space mission could play a part in finding HK-51. They say the task of getting this companion will not be an easy one.

The video states that these new features were coming this year. The blog reads So which is it? We don't want to be told later that the video was a mistake. Is it this year meaning the next 6 months (December 2012) or in the next year meaning 12 months. (June 2013)?

I bought it for the digital goodies and the hopes of an overflowing CE store. Do I feel cheated? Shrugs.... But I probably won't consider buying another CE from Bioware again. Nor will I support any kind of F2P crap store. (I will be on the first shuttle out of here.).
