Now that 5k is done I'll probably move to the 1.5 mill dummy for more consistent testing... the RNG is real.

I'm using Force Speed yes, but only when necessary to get instant casts before losing procs/polarity shift/adrenal/etc.

 

Not exactly sure what you mean by the second part, I use Force Storm on every Recklessness if possible, it's more dps than Lightning Bolt for filling your rotation until TB is back.

Yeah kewl I see what you're doing I'm almost min maxed 192 now, got my apm up to 46 or high 45s now am doing 4,5k consistently. Maybe I'm using the forcestorm wrong I guess since I tend to sit on recklessness till i get that 3 or 4 lb window and use it in there. Do you for example just combo it like, tb, recklessness, cl, storm and don't bother if flash or cd are available or do you prioritise those no matter what and don't waste a storm if it will only proc for 1 or 2 gcds. If you know what I mean.

You should be able to fit another gcd in there, like TB > CD > Recklessness > CL > Storm (entire channel) > TB

 

I don't like leaving Crushing Darkness off cooldown, and ideally you want Flash on cooldown as well during Storm, but I do delay Flash if needed.

 

You might need to hold Recklessness for a rotation or two to line it up, but the full channel Storm is worth it currently imo.

A full 7 minute parse or longer would show more about if the person is skilled or just another troll

you got pretty lucky crits on FiB and spinning strike. my shadow is close to full 192, 6-piece set bonus with 2-3 pieces 198 and my parses are averaging between 4400 and 4500.

I just started parsing on my shadow. I currently have one piece (102 rating) of alacrity. My APM is capping at about 40.5 on a 1.5mil dummy. What activation window do you use and does that have any effect on APM? I use 1.0 sec and always have an ability queued, so the only thing lowering my APM would be server latency (typically 80 ms ping) unless you're stacking much more alacrity.

 

I don't use adrenals or Battle Readiness when I parse (I do use force potency though), but do those activations contribute to APM?

At fleet dummy my Rage Juggernaut in mostly 186 crap comm gear (need enhancements, they're 172) and some mistakes I hit did 2500dps . My accuracy isn't high enough, as you can see from the misses, only 95%

Edit- Tried Vengeance and got 2850 DPS with one nano attack stim used and replaced a basic comm item with an elite and augmented it with a cheap power augment(32 power I think), my apm was slightly lower though at 33apm, as I'm out of practice, though I did finally setup keybinds and there a few lag spikes.

I have 230~ crit btw with 27% of my attacks critting, my surge is too high so when I get creds I need to change my enhancements. Maybe I'll finally break 3k haha

That…is very impressive. I mean, you got godlike crits on most of the abilities that really matter (Chain, Storm, Bolt), and only missed out on the goods with Flash. Average double-ticks on just about everything except for Chain, where you absolutely broke the bank on RNG.

 

This is probably pretty darn close to the ceiling for your gear on the 1.5 mil. Better Flash crits and better Thundering Blast double-ticks would have netted you a fair bit more, but I don't think you would go much beyond 4.9k. What is your exact gear and itemization at present?

It is a very good parse with a very good rng on it, but the critchances of chain lightning and force storm are just average (don't forget 4x Recklessness = 4 chain lightning crits + 24 force storm crits for free). But i got very lucky with proccs from other stuff like set bonuses (72,6% uptime force master alacrity for example).

 

there is nothing special in my gear. a good mix of 192/198 gear.

Made 2890 DPS during 15 min parse (was waiting for a PUG) by swapping out surge enhancements for accuracy, at 98.6% now, only missed .3% of time compared to 1.7%.

 

My APM is still low tho, 33.6, not sure how to get it much faster

I made a few mistakes, think I overclipped ravage a few times and there a few times my timing was off so I had no abilities to use, since I don't have assault or vs on my toolbar.

Edit- upgraded two pieces of gear (186 deft to replace the 172 I had and a 186 Initiative Enhancement) and got slightly higher DPS - 2931 but I over clipped 4 ravages and had a few places with nothing to use for a split sec.

Very nice. My best is 3 below, with the same exact FiB crit: http://i.imgur.com/uZoWCe5.png. In better gear, it looks like, too: I have about 150 more Willpower, 6-piece set bonus, 1% less crit, and am fairly close to BiS 192s. Currently have 2 Surge and 2 Alac enhancements.

My gear is actually pretty trash, I pass gear to better classes. I still have story mode relics for example. That 4686 parse is about 20 higher than my best, but I haven't had crits close to that yet. Was waiting to break 4700 to post. Old 4-piece, new 2 piece is better than new bonus, btw.
