  1. Cool. Hoping for The witcher 3 with lightsabers and a star wars story.
  2. Is your inquisitor an assassin? On your gunslinger were you attacking from range? If you look at Vaylin's debuff it states she will reflect any damage done from outside mele range (i.e. the small purple thing surrounding her). Assuming you were on a sin you would have been at mele range by default. So you probably just didn't read the tooltip and follow the game mechanics.
  3. I took advantage of the bug, but five year old dailies should not be a path to BiS gear. At best the Iokath dailies could since they're newer content that should be incentivized.
  4. I agree. As much as I hated it and unsubbed, when KOTFE whet solo only it was a clear design focus and I at least respected their decision to give it a try. Wanting to go back to group content is fine, and the reason I returned. But they should have picked PVE or PVP and done it well. I was actually turned off by the roadmap delivering a little of everything. Had they gone full PVP I would have still unsubbed, but at least respected their decision to focus their effort.
  5. There should be nothing stopping you from crafting at a level appropriate for the planet you are playing. Plus, unless you are gathering by sending out companions (except for the white stuff that can only be obtained by send out) and therefore overachieving your crafting, the materials available to you will be relatively level locked by zone.
  6. 3 hours will wipe out an entire evening so it's no different than 18 in that regard. I never had a problem with the 1 hour timer. Did other people complain or is this fixing something that isn't broken?
  7. I've always wanted one so I assume others do too, but I haven't been willing to chance it or pay credits. In general I'm cheap and don't really like supporting the cartel market. Plus I can't recall ever being in an operation where 3 or more didn't spawn after each wipe.
  8. My "primetime' is typically 9 until midnight eastern or so. I don't really do content below HM operation difficulty. Rep side had been dead during that time frame for months, so I tried out imp side. It started to pretty much die too so I went to Harbinger. Activity and even HM pugs for EC and other operations with actual mechanics were even successful! But I didn't want to move an entire legacy so I just stopped playing. Any population revival since the server merge announcement? Other than the trolling in Fortitude's thread I don't see much recruitment activity here in the sub-forum. It's possible with my schedule I need to get into Satele or unsub amd replay the witcher games.
  9. I haven't done conquest since the first couple weeks, so years. But I feel there are some pieces in place that could start to make it interesting. For example combine the D/L victory state timer and D/L world boss concept with some tweaks. I'd be interested if there was a randomly timed event (like D/L victory state), spawning a miniboss on a contested planet behind an instance in a known location. The first guild (based on group lead) to kill said boss gets the conquest points, all others to kill within the timer get something else. This could be randomly occurring (so the only benefit to a massive guild would be if they had 24 hour coverage), the instance would limit the group size (so multiple groups in a massive guild only have a slight advantage if the fight is difficult), can't really be grinded in your sleep or with logged out alts. Then add on some basic things that will probably be even among all guilds. Like the 1x credit for clearing an operation and only allow one time credit to the guild's score (not every player completing). So a smaller guild could divide and conquer and compete with a larger guild. These would mostly even out but ensures guilds participate in everything. Anyway I'm sure that can be critiqued but there has to be design with a minimum guild size in mind and minimal benefit to being larger. Guild victory achievements could still be tied to individual goals with the same or similar current rules.
  10. I have 11 total characters. One is still level 55 so I haven't played in like 4 years. I really wish I could sell extra character slots to other players for credits...
  11. At least bump the CXP for the newer Iokath dailies, since I think it's fair to incentive the newer content over 5 year old dailies. At least that will somewhat offset the fact one has to pay credits and grind to even do half of them.
  12. Can you elaborate on your request here? People have requested account ignore, etc. for years and it hasn't happened. And do you think it's feasible to have different ignore rules based on instance? I think you're better off asking for any bugs to be fixed with custom chat channels like TUXs pointed out.
  13. 1-3 won't affect me since I don't have an army of mules like some people. 4 and 5 would be nice, but I think developer resources going to actual content would be better. Overall great post though.
  14. The first three pages of your posting history suggest otherwise but maybe you just had the wrong date in there for months. Anyway, no shame in paying to forum troll I guess.
  15. Just ignore mister "I change my 'Sub Expires' date in my signature every time I extend my subscription." I just assume he's a forum troll.
  16. Ok I read that as shutdown from Oct 24 through Nov 8. Nevermind!
  17. I hope this wasn't asked, and maybe missed it in the blogs, but will there be subscription compensation time for the two weeks or so of the shutdown?
  18. Light on actual content, but good to hear there is still significant investment in the game in the form of infrastructure. Not likely this will slow down players leaving, but if iit setsup for a big return hopefully it's worth the risk. I'm still hoping for a tease that you are planning a full expansion someday with a reasonably sized explorable planet in addition to the near term planned content. Maybe the 2018 roadmap will drop that type of info. Also, I feel for Eric and Keith. I estimate half of the posts in this thread ask questions literally answered in the two blog posts.
  19. I just want to know who had the stupid idea to introduce a new tier of gear then spend months of developer resources nerfing classes to compensate for that gear increase. I don't care about the nerf(s) per se but I think I'll stop playing/paying until they prove they have an even small handle on overall game design.
  20. This summer has seen the most inefficient use of developer resources I can imagine. First, they introduce Tier 4 gear into galactic command when it wasn't necessary except in GotM bosses. Then to compensate for the gear (that requires a grind to get, or top NiM skill amongst people that don't need the gear due to their skill) they spend dev resources nerfing all classes. If only they had not introduced 248 gear when it wasn't necessary, they could have avoided a summer full of nerfs and the psychological impact those nerfs, as well as having dev resources for other uses. Just terrible.
