  1. <Nar Shaddaa Nexu> is happy to play 4s pretty much anytime we have 4 people on, so feel free to whisper any of us to play if you're ever looking.
  2. Mostly meant to encourage some participation from the teams here, but I'd love to have more teams to play.
  3. Gotta confer with the rest of <NSN> but we (read: I) can probably put a bounty on our A-team's head in group ranked. I'll come up with some kind of prize that's worth it.
  4. Hey at least Balance/Serenity isn't double Darkness, right ? We generally only even like to B/S (see what I did there) against teams that know how to deal with dot pressure, otherwise it's boring and nobody learns anything. On the note of an A-Team, I think our current A-Team would need to have Kanaba tanking with myself and Reptile or Easy DPSing with either Fantastic or Zack healing, depending on which comp we wanted to run, anything else is suffering a little bit somewhere, but anytime we have four capable, we're happy to queue and practice to get everyone in the guild to A-team level. Trust me when I say we'd love to be able to field a wide variety of teams and comps and have good games. We'd love to play you again when we have everyone on, I'd much prefer to actually get farmed so I can get better, especially on my Slinger. Shoutouts to non-forum warriors who actually queue up.
  5. I'm quite confused. Shocky's team beat one of the teams we had in queue several times I think, but when I (on Iactia), Reptiles, Easy'mode, and Fantastic played them we won in pretty short order. Shocky's team is definitely one of the best we've played though. I think it's hilarious that people say we got farmed or our **** pushed in when we queue up with "bad" teams so other teams can get experience and not just get stomped by Balance/Serenity or SS/Tactics because they don't have the practice dealing with extreme pressure or tight hard swaps. Carry on, though, forum warriors.
  6. Umm. What? We beat every team we played when we ran the best team we had online? Nobody beat Easy'mode, myself, Reptiles and Fantastic.
  7. Our A-Team has literally not lost a single game since we came to the server, so I'm sure it was. <3
  8. It entertains me greatly that not a single of one of the Nar Shaddaa Nexu have been mentioned here...though I guess owning every slot in a theoretical "award" wouldn't be any fun.
  9. It simply doesn't exist (91% accuracy), it's for a PvP experiment of mine.
  10. Hey Aelanis, if it's easy for you (I assume you just have a formula?), could you re-run your numbers with the assumption that accuracy is not a stat (force it to 0)? I've done some twiddling around, but I don't have the knowledge or (especially) time lately to mess with formulae :/
  11. I've leveled multiple sins and shadows 1-65 as deception, and exclusively using heal companions. I've done literally every single heroic at level by myself. If you have trouble with anything because you can't maul, you have other, much worse, problems.
  12. Pretty much. I'll likely find someone to tag along with to clear everything that's new, but I don't need to redo content. Better things to do with my time.
  13. Never left, just stopped raiding. Still have top tier PvP every season. Meh. I'd raid if there was something worth doing.
  14. Something is definitely wrong with your deception #s. I think I'm under 4600 maybe 1/10 of the time, probably less.
  15. What resulting average DPS are we seeing with these #s from your model? Do you have a spread for percentile damage? I have a suspicion your assumption is off somewhere, but I don't know where.
  16. While I have little to no interest in parsing Hatred anymore, I'm still seeing consistently Deception higher parses with my old build than the theorycrafted one (well, I'm actually one more crit piece over your theorycrafted one because I don't have an extra mod lying around). Assuming you used my rotation for your calculations, I'll chalk that up to RNG, but it feels worse.
  17. I have reasons for not assisting with the guide, and it's nothing personal to the author. Sorry.
  18. This guide misses a ton of the subtleties of the spec that really bring its DPS to competitive levels. No talk of holding Breach, and under prioritizing Spinning Strike are two things I noticed without giving away all my secrets.
  19. So, couple things: I absolutely delay force cloak for blackout. I have done HUNDREDS of parses trying to figure out if it was better or not to do so and it works SO much better when I do delay it. I also run more surge instead of alacrity and the increased crit on VS benefits my DPS. Are you counting 3 stacks of Reck or 2? What crit # are you looking at, because I run a LOT of crit in my build, so an auto-crit is only actually a ~65% bonus to crit on the individual ability. I'm not saying your math is wrong, but the amount of parses I've done is getting close to computer simulation numbers at this point, and my highest average and highest ever are both old-set.
  20. When I was dinking around trying to figure out if the spec was actually awful or not I tried all kinds of crazy nonsense and was pretty settled on 0 alacrity. When I got my first decent parse I realized I'd forgotten to swap my alacrity out from playing hatred. I've only gotten over 4720~ with one piece of alacrity. The last few days I've been trying to beat my current parse, and I realized you run into a dead zone of force when you go past one piece of alacrity, because vanish isn't affected by alacrity. I'm really not great at advanced math (except for tank stuff, and even then I'm no KBN), but after I swapped I see MUCH more consistent parses with the old 4-piece and have only gone over 4800 with the old set. I also parse much higher on boss fights with the old set. If it's mathematically better, my parse has all the info you could need to beat my parse, so do it and I'll swap
