  1. No premades in unranked, PERIOD!
  2. No I mean the free classes. Just don't let them PVP. That should be for paying subs. Also, no group ranked in unranked PVP would help a lot too.
  3. I hear you, but I also play every class in the game. I still think OPs are too powerful in 1v1 (well, if players are on the same level, the Op wins) but in this specific case, I know its been this way for some time and I don't understand why Bioware can't fix a simple game mechanic problem they have known about for a long time. Either they can't fix it without removing the map (or removing roll) OR they don't care. That's the only possible answers. Then why PVP? I mean honestly, it sounds lame to some but when I queue for PVP, my goal is to win the match. Winning matches is how I get my mats so I can upgrade my gear slots. I couldn't care about ranked simply because too many people take ranked seriously -- and well -- I have a life. It doesn't revolve around SWTOR. But its people who come into WZs expecting to be carried OR just there to check their DPS #s that frustrate me the most. I'm not bothered when I get tunneled in PVP, usually means we win. And winning is what counts.
  4. No wonder why teams with 1/2/3 Operatives/Scoundrels in PVP maps always win. (And I play this class, but I don't see it when I play, I see THEM do it). Here's how it works. You're on a map with levels, Operative goes around the acid pool to the ramp, hits roll and you see him bounce between the top and bottom floor, a blur. Can't hit him, can't CC him, you cannot do ANYTHING to stop him. He is out of CC breakers, nothing should interfere with a CC or even TOUCHING him. But you can't. Because he's a blur between the floors. By the time he reappears (3-6 seconds later), he's already on the other side, capping the orb. I know they get 2 seconds of immunity but here they're getting much more than 2 seconds. Roll (1 sec), immune (2 sec), but to not see him anywhere until he's way on the other side capping? UNACCEPTABLE. This happens anytime they are on multi level matches. Its been going on for as long as I can remember, yet Bioware has done nothing to resolve this issue. Can we get someone from Bioware to either fix this problem or remove roll from the game. When you already have an 1on1 PVP class that dominates the game also being allowed to cheat to win matches, this is enough to make people want to wipe the game from their computers.
  5. I just checked this SORC/SAGE spec. Root is still 9 seconds for them as well. Where do you get every 3 seconds from?
  6. Interesting because for Shadow, Sever Force is a 9 second cool down. WT heck?
  7. Well Operatives have been OP in PVP forever. That roll and absurd CC/Healing needs to be toned down. Even the poison spec is OK. Poison that last for 30 seconds, x2 and drains your health like crazy. Why not give Slingers the same healing and CC you give operatives? Sounds fair.
  8. Well then they have not learned that a lot of their subs are PVP players. If they follow the route that WOW tried, they'll find a mass exodus from the game. I'll be one of them.
  9. Meh, I have no reason to play ranked PVP. What I do not like are grouped players in unranked PVP. That should be removed. Nothing worse than playing unranked PVP and facing ranked, grouped players. That's fine if you're a ranked player and want to beat on less skilled players, but you shouldn't be allowed to queue as a ranked group to do so.
  10. So what I gather from this is "Removal of ranked PVP means BW doesn't have to balance PVP classes".... If that's true, they've basically killed the game for good for many, many people.
  11. I 100% concur with the original post. Try playing vs that spec with a Gunslinger/Sniper. You literally get almost no damage on them and they just melt you. No heals for you, no defenses. Just death. I'm literally trying every Slinger spec there is out there for PVP and we just have no chance against, well, anything really, but Madness Sorcs, we all just want to quit the PVP match. We have ZERO chance of winning.
  12. PVP still unbalanced 10 years later. We've complained about the OP classes in PVP (Sorcs, Operatives, Juggs, PT). Nothing ever done. Its groundhog day. Don't ask for our feedback about PVP if you continue to ignore us.
  13. I'd love to PVP more, but I still, as a long time player, feel that BW puts very little (if no) effort on balancing PVP classes. We still have MADLY overpowered operatives, Sorcs, Juggs, Vanguard/PT -- after 10+ years, NOTHING and I mean NOTHING has been done to make PVP more enjoyable. It's fine if you go in knowing "Well, they have an operative (or 3), so its an automatic loss" but that's not how the game should be played. Each class should have a winning shot at 1v1. Not one class who can sit there and 1v5 and prevent an entire team from capping, or over healing themselves or way too many "get out jail free" cards. And the damage done to Slingers/Snipers in PVP, terrible. Why give operatives many ways to heal but then turn around and take it away from slingers, who do less damage than operatives overall. Same category, give Slingers the same heals you give operatives since you refuse to take "roll immunity" away from Operatives (which is the stupidest idea ever! ROLL IMMUNITY?!) Fix pvp. Make it fair. Then it will be fun. Then more players will play this game. Learn from Warcraft. When they kept screwing PVP players over, they lost a huge swath of subscribers. And the only thing keeping people in this game now is the correlation to Star Wars. Otherwise this game should have died years ago once we learned PVP was always going to be the "red headed stepchild SWTOR didn't care about"..... 10+ years we have complained about PVP balance and for 10 years, we've been ignored. Don't ask about PVP if you still are unwilling to listen and make the changes.
  14. At some point you realize you continue to neglect the OP-ness of Operatives in PVP. They heal far too much. The roll "immunity" is too much. Their sustained DPS is too much. Their CC is too much. All of this makes for a very unfun PVP experience. At some point you have to pull the "God Mode" away from Operatives and bring them back to sanity. Before anyone complains, I play the class and even I feel its stupidly overpowered for PVP. How is it fun for anyone to completely destroy any opponent? Sometimes MULTIPLE opponents?
  15. Ok it appears PC Match all the sudden started blocking SWTOR. I need to find out how to whitelist it.
  16. I can't play the game now. I haven't changed anything but now out of NOWHERE I get this error and I cannot seem to fix it: Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item" c:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars - The Old Republic\launcher.exe What is wrong here? I haven't touched anything! If a repair doesn't work, do I remove the game, lose ALL of my settings and have to start all over again with my interfaces?!
  17. Really getting tired of seeing RANKED teams in UN-RANKED PVP. How minuscule are you to group together with ranked PVP players to queue UNRANKED PVP where your gear is 332-339+ where other players are just RANDOM, no group and you run around in a group of 5-6 destroying everyone in your path. Is that FUN to you? No, I call it a slaughter and well, as people keep quitting SWTOR (because PVE is boring and some of us are just can't win in RANKED PVP -- ya know, coz we have lives!). Seriously, if you wanted to kill SWTOR, keep letting groups join unranked PVP and watch your $$$ disappear.
  18. Oh they play, but only a few classes. Mostly Operative classes, which explains why they've never really been nerfed down to everyone else's level and why Operatives in PVP can roll "DISAPPEAR" bouncing between levels, untouchable, and BOOM! CAP! Face it, Bioware hates PVP so they're doing their best to make it as unpleasant as possible so we all decide to unsub and play something else. If we stopped giving them money, only THEN will they listen to us who want some sense of game balance and some LOVE to PVP.
  19. This means nothing to pure PVPers. This is all to reward the most boring aspect of the game, PVE. PVP stats and abilities are still unbalanced in PVP and have always been. That is why operatives never get nerfed. Still crazy OP.
  20. I don't PVE at all, so my 328 gear is the best I will ever do in this game. Bioware has zero interest in PVP and they prove it each and every patch and the OPness of some classes in PVP they will never address.
  21. Im in the same position for this quest, BUT, when I right click on my portrait there's no option to reset the instance.
  22. Can those classes roll through acid and bounce between levels of a map, untouchable and scoring before they appear?
  23. In BGs.... 1. Operatives can roll right through ACID, untouched. 2. When operatives roll, they bounce between levels, untouchable, disappear, can't be stopped. By the time they reappear on screen they are either already out of range or already scored. These two bugs right here are why when you face any team with an operative in BGs, especially Huttball, just leave the warzone. You aren't going to win, you are not going to be able to slow or stop an operative. 8 players against 1 operative still no chance. Not sure what BWs love affair is with this class, but they are still grossly bugged, grossly overpowered and completely unfun to play against. Trust me, I play the class, I know how stupidly OP they have been for 10+ years, yet BW wont fix them.
