The problem is those of us who regularly PvP have been saying this from the get go, unfortunately the 2k dps players who fancy themselves good and knowledgeable can't comprehend basic logic and have been trying to object and write speeches about why we're wrong, so why expect a bunch of clueless devs to be better off when they don't even pvp at all.

That's a dumb thing to say, more damage equals more pressure and more kills, also if that's your reasoning then why not nerf all classes' damage, let's do next to no damage while we're at it because anything else would just be number fluffing... get real. Also you're only speaking to the increased damage on smash, not the cc immunity which is a MUST for the spec. It's in no way better I assure you, and no, parsely is in absolutely no way whatsoever a valid measure of a spec's performance for all of the reasons I mentioned above, and again even less so in pvp. The other reason I ask to buff smash damage apart from once again it having miserable damage, is because anni's single target damage is absolute crap, and again, showing me parsely means absolutely nothing, I assure you if you knew who I was then you'd be smart to trust me over parsely. But all of this is meaningless, you can all go parse yourselves and see the damage difference. Actual real world performance, Anni's single target is HEAVILY lacking, and this is on top of it needing relatively tight uptime to maintain dots and whatnot, and especially without the cc immunity (not to mention all the abysmal fps drops and desync issues where you spend a solid 4 seconds just wondering where your target is) it's not so easy to do. I know you don't know me, and I'd rather not divulge who I am, so there's no real reason for you to just go off of what I'm saying, which is why I'm saying grab your mara, take your pvp utilities and go parse on a warzone dummy and see for yourself. Also, the vast majority if not all the pvpers I know agree Anni is garbo atm. Spamming a 4 meter attack that even with a proc'd dot crit deals ~ 20-30k damage is dumb by all standards.
  3. This is why I'm saying the changes would mainly affect pvp anyways and there's absolutely no reason they shouldnt be implemented.
  4. I've already addressed Parsely being the worst possible proof for actual class/spec performance, exponentially more so if we're talking about PvP. Parsely is a *top* parse application, where people parse to no end and use every possible trick, cheese and items in the game, with pre-casts and buildups, and take utility points that wouldnt even work for pvp or would require an unrealistic amount of freedom to properly use (between you being hit, cc'd, your target dying, running away, cloaking, bubbling, phasing etcetcetc). Parsely parses are, again, in no way an actual representation of general and, more importantly, consistent spec performance and are thus completely irrelevant, and this is without even taking into account that the players who get top parses on one spec aren't the players who are at the top parses for the other specs, so player skill is obviously a huge factor at play in those parses, furthering Parsely's inability to properly grade or compare a spec's performance. I parse on warzone dummies on Rishi to recreate pvp instance performance, and being that I don't need accuracy it's prob the reason why my ling parses are higher than the pve ones, even though your stats are way higher than mine due to gear IR differences.
  5. Yeah I'm speaking mainly for pvp, but I truly don't understand how annihilation is considered a top dps when it's literally the second lowest parsing single target spec after lethality atm. For reference, I play every single spec in the game, and in terms of skill level im in the top 0.1% of the game, and have been parsing Anni and getting ~27-28k dps, this is compared to the 33-35k I usually get on Rage and 35k+ I get on single target ling. Furthermore single target madness is actually a joke dps wise compared to lightning, it doesnt even compare.

I'm so happy this isn't just me, the game was running more or less fine and I played 2 pvp matches with no issues out of the ordinary and then my game started completely freezing, and I looked at my ram using nearly 100% of its capacity with only the game open, whereas it usually only goes up to ~50% with everything else I have running in the background. Oh and I also had my graphics set to the preset medium settings without bloom, even though I can easily run the game on ultra with everything on. I use the regular game client as well, not the steam one.
  7. I disagree, annihilation has good aoe, its only downfall is they get cc'd so much there's no enjoyable or real way to maintain a high aoe uptime unless you'e allowed to freecast a bit. The issue is that it's all tied to dots and you only have 2 of them, one which is on a longish cd, so smash needs to be buffed to help with aoe (which was always really it's strong suit) because in reality your smash, especially with all the aoe damage reduction in the game, is going to hit targets for miserable damage and thus desperately needs a buff because it hits less than an auto attack unless you crit. I also disagree with anni having excellent single target damage, the damage is mediocre at best, don't trust all the parses you see, they're in no way a proper representation of actual real performance, especially in pvp. The truth is rn the only thing Anni has going for it is it's self healing and the fact it's fun to play (though most would even argue that because it's a lot of slash spamming) but the actual damage output is miserable and a lot slower (almost no burst). If a class is dot based and doesnt have any burst to speak of, the least you can do for it is give it high sustained damage, but anni parses easily 4-5k less than Rage, and about 6-8k less than single target lightning in real world parses without all the fancy items tricks and gimmicks, just using the class as it is. It's why you see almost no one playing it atm, it gets outmatched, outplayed, outdps'd, and outperformed by so many classes there's no real reason to play it other than for its self healing and for fun.

Please, for the love of the spec and all marauder players who are fed up everywhere, give annihilation cc immunity tied to deadly saber, similarly to what you guys gave carnage, and please increase smash's damage from a miserable 13k to at least 19-20k, its currently a laughable version of vengeance. There is literally no reason not to do so, as the changes would mainly affect pvp and give the spec the changes it desperately needs, nothing more.
  9. Sniper is all but incredible in pvp rn. The amount of control all 3 specs have, especially over melee is actually pretty ruthless and the damage is there. The problem with sniper is it takes skill to play, it's almost without a doubt the class with the highest skill ceiling in the game, so you usually either get wrecked or you wreck, as snipers can quite literally be untouchable for the most part if played right. Having said that, while most of the suggestions you made to buff snipers would make it op, I do think marksman needs a general damage buff. You can play around and add some utility to it (especially the roll buff, which is op for the other 2 but miserable for MM) but imo its abilities just need a flat dmg buff. The one thing I think MM RLY needs imo is for the snipe utility that makes it auto cast when entering or exiting cover to be mainline for the spec, bcs it has too much casting and 1.4 seconds in pvp to do anything if you dont have pen blast up is too much.
  10. Yes but don't forget, sins have miserable defensives and don't do as much dmg with their other abilities, there's a balance to this that needs to be maintained. I understand your stance, but the truth is with the cc immunity marauders have it was kinda stupid how easy it was to global someone. Ik ik you're gona say but sins have 4 auto crits every time they stealth out and could do the same, however its MUCH easier to counter and completely render a sin useless during his burst phase.
  11. At no point in time did I mention hypocrisy so i have no idea where you got that from. Also your second point is absolute nonsense, and has nothing to do with hypocrisy either way, once again. I'm going to repeat this another time, omitting any harmful comments about the general IQ on these forums: Arenas and Warzones ARE TWO DIFFERENT GAME MODES. The way you play arenas is VASTLY different than how you play warzones, even if you want to deathmatch in both. Step foot in arenas against an entire team of stealthers while running aoe annihilation and tell me how that goes for you. But try that same thing against a premade in warzones, and it could be incredibly fun. I'm not going to spend more time explaining this point, as it's apparent and very obvious to any player who isn't clueless (made very evident by the fact we are still "deathmatching" in warzones and aren't all sticking to arenas). And btw, all of this is completely omitting the fact that telling players who are vastly more skilled than yourselves (speaking to obj players as a whole again) that they dont want to queue arenas because they aren't good enough for that, is beyond stupid. Since the removal of ranked, pretty much the same players who queue for warzones also queue for arenas, and if anything, I would say there's probably a higher percentage of pve and rp players in arenas than in warzones, since they give quicker rewards and dont take as long, for people like you who admit they dont even enjoy pvp. All this to say that if anything, arenas are easier than warzones. Most matches I q arenas into, with the proper class I feel like I could easily solo the entire enemy team, and that's in no way an exaggeration.

This is what I mean, if that is your goal and you are clearly admitting you dont even pvp bcs you enjoy it, and want to "get it done with", then not only is your opinion regarding pvp completely worthless, but it's a mockery you would even complain to others about how they choose to play. (btw im speaking not just to you personally but to anyone who falls in the same scenario, which is to say the vast majority of players in q)
  13. I promise you, I do more for my team than you could ever hope to running your objectives. When you're a massive threat that can rofl stomp over half the enemy team alone all match, it becomes impossible for the enemy team to do anything bcs they're busy having to deal with you while your team basically gets to run around doing wtvr they want. The players you are talking about who are supposedly sooo much more useful get about 5 seconds of my attention, if that, before they end up in spawn. If you can't fight you are useless. The fact that people cannot seem to fathom such an incredibly simple and obvious point leads most of us to not even entertain you guys when you speak.

It's amusing how you felt the need to go on a nonsensical rant bcs you're hurt I said deathmatchers dont care about pve player's feelings and complaints and are there to actually have fun fighting instead of afking at nodes. Now to answer your coping mechanisms: 1) I very clearly said arenas and wzs are two diff game modes, one revolves around survival and getting your team to burst a target down, whereas the other allows for diff kinds of play, including cleaving, number farming etc. 4v4 and 8v8 are two diff things, this doesnt need explanation to anyone with basic intelligence... 2) First off, it wasnt criticism it was a response to pve and rp players crying about deathmatchers wanting to pvp, let ppl play how they want especially since its pvp, people want to fight each other, not clicky clicky bluey things and afk at ndes defending. Second, the vast majority of players who would complain about deathmatchers are also the ppl who literally afk during matches bcs their team is *slightly* losing or bcs theyre fighting a team which is way better than them and dont want to get farmed, and will constantly rage quit matches they dont even want to be in in the first place (bcs all they want are useless rewards and dont actually enjoy pvping), causing other players to have to join late. My point is those players are not only useless to everyone, but are an outright nuissance, and they make up a huge chunk of the players in q. At least deathmatchers will help out by thinning the opposing team or outright gluing them to spawn allowing their team to freely run as many obj as they want. "cant deal with death" this point is too stupid to even try and argue, you're very clearly just mad. 3) the only people spitting venom and mockery is you and the guy who's post i was responding to, I was merely pointing out how much of a joke it was bcs the people complaining about pvper's arent even pvper's themselves. Finally, and probably most importantly, I see you are very active on the forums and love to speak as if you are any sort of authority or person who is able to give solid advice. You are a very bad player, this isnt an insult or an attack I assure you, Im simply pointing out the fact that someone who isn't good at the game shouldn't be talking, much less trying to mock players who are incomparably better than them.
  15. We needed that yesterday, what are you guys waiting for? PvP is unbearable without it, you get cc'd twice every global cooldown.
