  1. Everything but Sorc and PT is underperforming, buy a wide margin. Anyone who thinks Snipers are doing well obviously doesn't play one. No heals, no defense to speak of, crap damage. The developers of the game should just resign now.
  2. How this got out of development and pushed into production is beyond belief. "OUT OF THE BLUE" is broken. Too many abilities pruned. PVP Is a joke. No gear available, no PVP rewards, not even GEAR! If you were looking to put the nail in the coffin for this game, you did it in SPECTACULAR fashion. Even my Slinger is worthless in PVP and no way to heal or defend. Time to UNSUB for good!
  3. So why are they rolling? It's certainly NOT to damage. It's to AVOID TAKING DAMAGE/CC. What part of that do you simply not understand? Operatives CAN (and do), use roll to avoid ALL DAMAGE/CC, which means they can get cover, heal up and get out of combat fairly quickly, CC their opponent, back to full health, then back to face smashing not just one, but more than one. Assuming the operative burned you to low health, which they always do, you cannot CC them (or given latency, you blow yours), you're boned. You lose your ONE CC breaker, you're pretty much dead. Roll immunity is not needed and should to be removed. It should just be a gap closer since yes, Operatives need to be on you to DPS you. Even on my VG, with Assault Plastique on them, they roll, IMMUNE! It shouldn't be that you roll OUT of something already placed on you. It's like 3 "Get out jail free" cards. Your CC breaker and two rolls. No other class in the game can give you a big middle finger like Operatives can. NO ONE! It's a lot like WOW and Cloak of Shadows.
  4. None of his argument is valid. He plays Operative. He doesn't want them nerfed to NORMAL damage. That's what it comes down to.
  5. Lets start with you, since you suffer from myopia.
  6. Well yes but being immune 2 of 6 seconds, every 6 seconds is also MASSIVELY OP.
  7. Same thing. Don't be stupid. Smuggler/Operative = SAME CLASS.
  8. Just get rid of the roll immunity, increase the roll timer to 10 second cooldown (no one has that kind of mobility) and remove the lockdown from turning/moving, then I'll agree. They are too OP in warzones, everyone with an IQ over 4 knows that.
  9. 91,817 biggest hit on my operative. But yeah, they're fine...
  10. 100%. Its those who play operatives a lot who dismiss the complaints as whining/crying. "Don't nerf my GOD class in PVP!!!!" is what they're really saying.
  11. I was gonna say that but you got it. No one cares about overall WZ damage. We care about how fast we get killed without being able to respond. That's concealment. When I play it, I can literally take someone out in seconds, CC the other, vanish out, wait for some CDs, then blow the other guy up and cap the base. It's LAUGHABLE.
  12. 100%, and that's what I was saying above. The basic balance issues are never addressed or resolved, and a huge chuck of subscribers leave. Boring PVE content and completely unbalanced PVP = boring game.
  13. Agreed. And you're probably like the thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) of players who left the game. It's not the PVE content (which isn't coming), it's the sheer lunacy of unbalanced PVP that after over a decade, still as not been addressed properly. It seems they have time to push out 7.0 and make you grind levels and new gear (thus spending more money for augments) but for some reason, cannot get off their fat rear ends to do something about the SINGLE ASPECT of the game that keeps players around: PVP. Trust me, there are some lore players who like the grind of PVE, but I find the hard core players are the PVPers and the good ones, the honest ones, know PVP is still busted.
  14. Thanks, and I don't take it personal when you're being helpful. The people complaining about my long time complaints about OP operatives are probably long time Operative players who dont want them nerfed. Hard to get them to burn a CC breaker when their opener can take more than 50% of your health. Their burst damage is retarded (keep in mind, I play Scoundrel, I know they're OP, especially 1v1). Some players in this class, I don't know what it is, they must have went to the ELITE school of Operative, because the one I saw yesterday, was EASILY able to not only hold 2 people off from capping (Sorc/Sniper) but kill one, then kill the other then cap the base. Neither the Sorc or Sniper were bad, it's just the Operative was really good about using walls to heal (which I do think Operative heals are retarded as well). I hate playing on my Gunslinger when there is an operative around. Extremely difficult to survive. On my Commando, not so much because I can time my slow to after them using a breaker. Hard to get Operatives to use a breaker unless its Commando SLOW
  15. True, but on the other hand, they are not putting much effort into it either.
  16. I agree with you 100%. There's almost no time/effort into balancing PVP which is why they lost so many subscribers. Same thing happened to WOW. When people feel classes are overtuned, they either all play them (see: Operative) or they unsub (which many, MANY have). This game still has great potential, but not in its current form.
  17. Which, if you take to the time to think it through, what's being asked is "Put operatives on the same level as other classes". It's not irrational or wrong. It's actually LOGICAL.
  18. Yep and all that complaining about Operatives, the developers who play them, refuse to tune them back down to the other classes. Thanks for making my point.
  19. True, but you're missing the point. You cannot do anything to them either That means 100% damage mitigation, 100% immunity to EVERYTHING, including CC's and with LATENCY between you, him and the server, Operatives get what FEELS like immunity to everything, including DAMAGE, CC's, SLOWS, you name it. Cakewalk class for PVP and its the GOD mode. Operatives can destroy EVERY SINGLE CLASS in the game, sometimes 2v1 which I saw yesterday. A single operative took out both a Sniper and Sorc, which were fully geared players. The Operatiev was just unstoppable and very good at running behind things and healing up, using CC on one, rolling past all damage and CCs and laughing his way to solo capping a base vs 2 people. Don't tell me they suck, operative was frikken immune to everything. No, three people ACTIVELY trying to cap and he can stop all 3 while taking almost no damage is fair. Oh you mean THE GAME BUG where operatives roll across the platforms and bounce between top and bottom (BUG!) and you can't touch them then when they finally show up, they're already over the bridge and cap. You know, where you can't CC them at all because their ROLL is bugged and yeah, for 3-5 seconds you can't touch them at all and they already score. Yeah, nothing wrong with Operatives at all. They're fine, right?
  20. I check gear before matches. Everyone is running the recommended sets for their classes. I'm talking about an unrated match where there are 1,2,3,4,5 Operatives. I've seen one operative against 3 equally geared classes keep 3 people from capping a base. Anyone who does not think that Operatives are OP are those who play them, not the ones who face them. Yes, I have an Operative and even *I* think they are too OP for PVP. That roll immunity is GOD MODE. "Hey look at me roll every six seconds, of that 2 seconds is complete immunity", and with latency, most people blow their ability to stop an operative. With evasion on a lowered cool down, hots that reduce your damage by 6%, double stuns, slows, poisons (oh dman I can't get out of combat to heal), it's just retarded. The developers of the game play Operative. That explains why this GOD MODE class is so OP in PVP. To make it worse, they let one team have a ton of them in a match. Its this kind of crap that makes me want to do what most players do is sit outside of the bases and wait for the loss -- or just leave the match, which many do.
  21. That is all. Until you bring operatives down to the same level as the other classes, I see no reason why Operatives are allowed to queue for PVP and utterly destroy everyone, often able to handle 1v3s no problem, prevent 4+ players from capping a base, heal like crazy, be immune to EVERYTHING every 2 out of six seconds due to roll, the quick reset on their reflect, blind, insta-stealth, you name it. I mean if there was a GOD MODE class in PVP, it is defined by Operatives. It's a cancer class. And when you have cancer in the game, it's time to get it removed/deleted/destroyed. No more Operatives in PVP.
  22. Huh? That doesn't make sense. What active ability would block it OTHER than the target being white barred? Where in the explanation of the skill does it say "This active ability blocks the use of THAT active ability?" I'll record it on my Scoundrel later today.
  23. They were not white barred, I'm not an idiot. I know how the mechanics work, I do not understand how they can still turn/move when I have the proficiencies chosen to stop them from doing it.
