  1. I usually like playing twi'lek so I don't have to have a hood on everything. I usually prefer seeing the characters face clearly. However, having the option to wear a hood, perhaps with the lekku wrapping about the neck inside or something would be cool.
  2. I think red means you're graphics card is doing the work, green is the CPU doing it, and yellow is both sharing the workload? Or something like that.
  3. I posted this in another thread, but it sounded like a fun idea, so I'll put it here too. I don't think it's needed to make everything on the galaxy map explorable, but I like the idea of adding lore type fluff to the map, like points of interest to view some pretty graphic of and read about.

  5. Yea, Ebon Hawk is awesome. There were similar lines for the clickables on Dromund Kaas there as well.
  6. An easier way to see ones own ability procs and monitor ones HoT's on fellow targets would be nice. Maybe some way to isolate them, and/or bring them into the forefront visually or audibly?
  7. My biggest issues and I hope they address above all else, given the supposed recommended specs to play this game: - Load times are too long, and too frequent at times. It makes it undesirable to go anywhere outside of the fleet/main hubs. I also end up restarting my game after a while because performance gets bad if I load too many planets/areas, or relog too much. - FPS freezing when opening various UI elements, leveling up, discovering a new area, companion dialog triggers when traveling and so on. - General performance problems increase as the player population increases in an area, or logged into the server. Even if you're not in the same area! - Logging in invisible and staying that way, or logging in and having others invisible. Usually during peak population hours. - Logging in and having broken animations until restarting the game. Usually during peak population hours. Other things I have problems with: - No chairs that are usable to sit on. - Excessive range on non-custom emotes. - Custom emotes cannot be seen by opposite faction, while /say and non-custom emotes can be. (All should be equally visible.) - Few pants for consulars/inquisitors and a general lack of variety (ie: too many re-textured armor models) and styles to wear per armor/class type. No robes/dresses for anyone non-force using outside of a few social items? - Social points being too hard to earn without mind-numbing reruns of Esseles/Black Talon. There is a Social X apparently?! Does anyone ever make it that far? - Too pricey to move mods about, too pricey for training, too pricey Legacy perks and so on. Wow, high expenses everywhere! - Lack of any sort of dual-spec option, likely leading to less tanks and healers (especially of certain classes) in the Group Finder content pre-50. Probably because most people find leveling as DPS easier/quicker. - Pureblood tendrils clipping with face pieces, many head pieces you'd think would be visible on miraluka aren't. - Voice modulation applied on head pieces that have no mouth covering! - Hood up/down toggle for you and companion. - Inability to preview weapons in the visual preview window for gear. Oh, and that window sometimes seems too small to see details, and does NOT take into account Unify Colors. - The tails on some clothing pieces fluctuating between being stiff, or hanging loose like they are supposed to when you're character is moving about. In the gear preview, cloaks/tails always look stiff. - Need more hairstyles, faces and other customizable options available to all applicable races (not just humans!) What about a height adjustment? A truly round female, like the males get? A short female? Etc. - The /who list/search function and window displaying the wrong results, duplicate results or even characters from the opposite faction! I'll add more as I think of them.
  8. Eh, the story and voice acting are the part of this MMO I actually love. If they were going to do any cuts in this area, they could make more non-class story quests given at a mission terminal or something (instead of being fully voiced), especially if it's content that's going to be repeated a lot (world story quests, daily quests and heroics, etc).
  9. I think character transfer service is still open. I don't know about the rewards though, but you should be able to do the character moves at least. Take a look at (your) "My Account" here at this website, and click "Character Transfer".
  10. I dunno but... "hard at work on the game" sounds far more promising than "attending celebrations".
  11. Perhaps the clickables should spawn/despawn with the NPCs spawn/death. Being able to click/loot the clickable in combat was a good start. So was replacing some bosses with clickable boss spawners.
  12. Err yea, give sage/sorc any more mobility and no one would ever play anything but one of these for healing, as what they lack in mobility, they gain in many other areas the other healers can't measure up in (or simply don't have an equivalent to.) There is also a difference in PvE/PvP healing to consider. Ops/scoundrels are well suited for PvP healing, while sage/sorc seems excellent for PvE.
  13. Uh I don't know what stats your looking at, but I'm not seeing an increase. There might be the opposite though.
  14. I've been positive and supportive of the game since I started playing in December (a look at my post history before yesterday would probably show that). But once they announced f2p in the past day, that faith was replaced entirely with cynicism. I'm not an easy person to sway, honestly, but this finally did it. I wanted more story, more of that magic I felt leveling up where I was playing a character in their own Star Wars movie with that fantastic story and voice work. I was patiently waiting for that magic to continue as the SWTOR story went on with meaningful content updates. But now? I have some serious doubt that magic will continue with SWTOR stepping into the ring of mediocrity that comprises most (if not all) f2p MMOs.
  15. Because vanity stuff will no longer be covered by your subscription fee. Sorry!
  16. I don't think 40% of players who unsubscribed rate so high in importance when it comes to keeping players happy and subscribed. You look at all sides of the fence (subscribed and unsubscribed), and 40% of people who left is a pretty small number when you factor in all the people who left AND who still pay to play the game. The lions share of people who play, or have played SWTOR is far greater than a small portion of unsubscribed players. The notion that such sweeping decisions might be made on such a small number of people is kind of alarming.
  17. I know and this is the crux of why I'm dissatisfied with this. F2P games makes their killing selling fluff and trash that's easy to churn out for their store, rather than by developing anything meaningful. The cost/profit ratio isn't favourable enough for them.
  18. That's why I'm currently subscribed and it wasn't entitlement to be happy with what my sub fee covered, it was contentment.
