I can see what you are saying here, but the fact is the event has been listed most of the year and they stated they had big events planned for it, then cancelled 2 weeks before it happens. In reference to the difference between GamesCom and Star Wars Celebration, sure SWC will have fewer attendees, but it is also a only 2.5 hour flight from Austin where as Germany is a good 12 to 13 hours. They likely have to pay fees to present at GamesCom, but with SWC, I suspect the fees would be nothing since it is put on by LucasArts. On top of that, SWTOR will be competing for gamers attention at GamesCom, but they would be the only one at SWC. At the minimum, they should have a couple of people there, some vids of the game, etc. To help bring in more players.

Yeah in the long run it is very frustrating, I went to the last show and it is very cool; however, my main goal here was to be part of anything and everything SWTOR, which is now... nada, zip, zilch

Very true, but finding four days worth of stuff there will likely be rough, looks like drinking and beach time, unless my crap luck continues and a hurricane comes too, ugh.

Indeed it does, I give this game as much support as I can but this one stings. I mean I'm not going to quit over it or anything but SLAP it was lol

$400 for a flight... $170 for a four day pass... BW throwing a cancel out two weeks before the show... Priceless

I hope this is just a mess up on the site update today, but looking a the events list right now I don't see it there anymore. It surely is gonna suck if I paid for a flight and a four day pass if SWTOR won't even have a presence. Hopefully a moderator can shed some light on this for me. Thanks
