  1. This is one of those annoying things I wish they'd change/fix, because it was still auto flagging me very recently (during the Chevin event, I believe) if anyone happened to run into any combat with a group of mobs I was fighting, as long as they were flagged. If AoE doesn't do it, it seems my companion will force it. -.- Annoying and more than a little inconvenient on a RP-PvE server for people who don't want to PvP.
  2. Yep, just back up a couple steps to get the mobs/people in front of you and hit the button. I've always turned with my mouse so, it works quite well and I like it.
  3. I play on Ebon Hawk, an RP-PvE server. Queue times vary for both PvE and PvP, depending usually on what level range, FP, or time of day it is. We get a lot of people declining queues (usually at level 50), and it's very annoying. I usually play the healer role in Groupfinder.
  4. Change is hard, yea. People don't like change. I suppose players weren't playing the spec/AC the way Bioware intended. I was personally surprised on my powertech that it got so many good long range abilities when I selected the AC, since I was under the impression it was supposed to be a melee range-get peoples faces-type of class. Since none of the other melee range classes have nearly as many long range abilities that DAMAGE things like powertechs do, it was probably a good change.
  5. It would be cool to be able to select the font you want from a handful of choices.
  6. Wraiven: My comments about people declining queues was a general one. It wasn't targeted at you specifically. If the only reason you decline a queue is due to a bug, wonderful. That's not how it goes for the rest, though. I think someone earlier in the thread illustrated that in a post about themselves (which is what prompted me to post originally). Simply taking people out of any queues when they accept/enter a FP or PvP match would solve this issue for everyone though, if people aren't considerate enough to do it themselves.
  7. Wait, what "gap closer" does Operative get again...?
  8. Wraiven: If you're declining queues constantly because you're in a PvP match, you might as well not queue at all, as it's little different in the end and you aggravate people less especially when you could simply leave the other queue you're in as soon as the one pops if you know you're probably going to decline the next one while you're busy anyway. Unfortunately, that's not what people are doing and I find it somewhat inconsiderate (and I don't believe it's always a "bug" that leads people to do this.) Perhaps Bioware should code the Group Finder to automatically remove anyone from the other queue as soon as they accept the one that pops, so they can queue again once their match ends.
  9. Though this isn't really on topic - yes, I'm aware of the Role bug - my DPS got put into Heals role earlier today after I made absolutely certain beforehand to select the right role.
  10. If people are mostly declining the PvE queue when it pops anyway, it's pointless to bother queueing for it. People get annoyed when waiting a few hours for a queue, just to have yet another decline it when it pops. One evening I spent an hour and a half in queue and had a 8 declines in that time, some of which made me wait out the entire "Accept" timer while I dropped everything I was doing to wait it out. I end up leaving the queue because I get the impression we have people trolling it by staying in queue with no intention of ever joining the flash point. I know I'm not the only one, because people comment about this often enough in General chat. I suggest people who are waiting in both queues simply leave the other queue whenever they enter a match (and vice versa) to spare everyone else the annoyance, unless they actually intend to "Accept" when the queue pops.
  11. Considering how often people decline queues when they pop, I'm pretty sure this is a good move by Bioware.
  12. Perhaps (if it doesn't already), the groupfinder should allow the player the choice to either return to their original location, or to the fleet for turning in the associated quest. *shrug*
  13. I have a healer I used to pvp with on the Ebon Hawk. I stopped pvping with it because it really wasn't a whole lot of fun to play in pvp where I spent the entire match being chased around and focus fired by 2-3 (or more) people because I got marked. It was tiresome and annoying gameplay that I no longer wanted to be part of, especially if solo healing and unsupported by teammates.
  14. Going to have to go with force leap/charge.
  15. They spoke about it on their Server Consolidation blog here: http://www.swtor.com/blog/server-consolidation The change is due tomorrow apparently.
  16. I soooo want dual spec. I want to do questing in my DPS spec and do flashpoints with my heal (or tank) spec!
  17. Might get a slap on the hands/black mark or something, but I doubt any banning, unless this person had enough "warnings" for this sort of griefing behaviour.
  18. Recustomizations, race changes, gender changes.. even faction changes. I bet people would happily pay for such things. I probably would.
  19. You either didn't read the devs post quoted earlier in this thread, or you just want to argue.
