  1. Good to know we are finally moving to 64-bit, that will be a big thing going forward. Hope we get the next update soon, with more Batm... err I mean Malgus, as Malgus is cool.
  2. As the topic says, some metallic looking dyes would be nice, like gold, silver, bronze and so on. Could also be for other color dyes, like red, blue, green and more. Was trying to get a specific look today, silver like, but either the colors looked wrong, or they end up being to dark. Would also be nice if different armor pieces didn't dye different, despite using the same dye. Sometimes pieces from the same set can get this effect. Like the helmet looking different in color than the rest of the set.
  3. That has bugged me for ages when it comes to this game. Why we, who are known to be very strong in the ways the Force can't sense another Force user is odd to say the least. The movies tell another story there, and most trained Force users should be able to sense another, unless there is some darkside shenanigans at work. Luke was able to sense Grogu from far away, and Grogu is not what I would call a Master in any way shape or form. True, Grogu was at a Force nexus, but still... If they know how to hide in the Force that's one thing, but to do that they would need to be trained in those ways, and Ri'kan does not seem to have much training, if any, in the ways of the Force. Unless Sa'har has trained him, but that seems unlikely given how little time has passed, and that she herself is a Padawan. Wich leaves Malgus, but when that training took place, if any, is any ones guess...
  4. The sonic disruptors was a bit of a cop out, true. An electro net or something like it would make more sense imo, and more fitting for Mandalorians and their ways. I also thought it was weird that Ri'kan so easily slapped our lightsaber away like it was nothing. I mean, he's using a vibro sword like weapon, wich realistically should not withstand a lightsaber. But I guess plot armor is in use here, or that he's force sensitive, wich would explain it. Shae really lost the plot when confronting Sa'har, and I felt like my Sorc reacted like he wanted to slap some sense into her for doing what she did. That's not how he would have handled the situation, knowing that Sa'har would have important intel that he might make use of by talking to her calmly... Shae is blinded by revenge, and she's not really what I would call a good leader in that mind set. She's making bad calls all around, and will propbaly end up getting good Mandalorians killed that way.
  5. And they take the servers down for something that's not even game breaking. This should have waited until a regular downtime, but the devs did this in their infinite wisdom... Great, just great...
  6. Nice story yet again. Hope we get more intel on what Malgus is planning in this update. I am intrigued as what he's really up to. Whatever that is, it can't be good, that's for sure...
  7. This was more or less what I expected to happen, as the 20th would have been too late. Good to know that 7.2 is coming, and also leave time for the inevitable fixes that most updates have. Here's hoping for a smooth launch.
  8. As I said in another thread, the 20th of December would be cutting it way too close for an update, and leaves virtually no room for fixes, which at this point we know will happen. And them going on a break until mid January or thereabouts, means no fix until late January, early February. If they don't push it live next week, my guess is that they will push it to early next year some time. But if they go for the 20th, it's on them if anything goes pear shaped, and I give it a good chance of that happening given recent track record.
  9. Communcation, or lack thereof, is sadly BioWare's MO, and has been for a long time. They promise more and better communication with us, and then fails to do so, unless something blows up in spectacular fashion here on the forums. We are mostly left to our own devices, and talk amongst ourselves, wich leads to speculation about things not being said by the devs like Life Day being a thing or not this year...
  10. True that Life Day is in December, but it does require them to take the servers down to start Life Day, so it would make some sense to get the update up at the same time, but as it stands now with no communication from the devs, I'm getting a tad sceptical that we'll see Life Day, but who knows...
  11. The answer is that we don't know as of yet. I would assume that information regarding Life Day would be coming this week, but only time will tell.
  12. I think the 20th would be too late. No time to implement fixes, so if there are any bugs, we would not get any fixes until mid/late January. I think around the 12th - 15th of December would be a good window to aim for, and still allow time for fixes. And if they don't get it released by then, I would hazzard a guess of early February, maybe late January if we're lucky for a release window.
  13. I do wear some complete CM outfits, like the one inspired by The Bad Batch, as it looks good on it's own. Same for some other outfits, like some of the Mandalorian ones. Others I mix and match. I tend to give them short names that reflect what I'm going for with the outfit.
  14. And yet again the silence from the devs is deafening. I can understand not giving a solid date for 7.2, as things can change rapidly in development. This is pretty normal for all live service games. But not getting any info about Life Day, is dissapointing to say the least, but not getting info is SOP for the devs. As it was said in the Republic Commando book Hard Contact: "We need more intel with our intel". As it is, we are flying blind into enemy territory...
  15. True, but the main quests are the purple triangle along with the planetary mission lines, so they may well assume that it's not interesting being yellow...
  16. Oh I know that, but they were never part of the main quest line to get to the capital worlds, you had to speak to an NPC to start it. Had they instead made it so that you were lead to the NPC to play them, it would have been a better way of introducing FP's to the player base. Most new players don't know thay you can pick up the quest before you turn and run to to the transport that takes you to the capital planets directly.
  17. Yeah, Esseless, and BT can be really painfull... Had one Vet Esseless, where all were above lvl 70, and I thought it would be easy, right? Wrong this one person had never done Esseless, and wanted too see all cutscenes, but also pulling all mobs, as he thought that was a bonus objective for some reason... Didn't even get half way through before two bailed, then I bailed shortly after that. These FP's are long enough as is, but with all the convos it takes even longer. I mean the story is ok on both sides, but I feel like this should have been part of the main story line, and used as an early introduction to FP's, but that boat is long gone...
  18. To me SWTOR has been story oriented from the start. With so much and rich story telling, it stands to reason that that's where most of the devs focus has been. PvP does not really have any connection to the main story line, which I think is where some of the problem lies. Had they integrated PvP into the story at a point where it made sense story wise, it might not feel like PvP is it's own thing like it is now. Had they for example had some introductory story driven mission leading you to try PvP, and also feel like that mission is connected to to main story line, people would be more invested in it. As it stands, PvP feels like it's tacked on for good meassure, but it could have been different...
  19. Nice story. I have to wonder if this is connected to Malgus somehow. Would not surprise me if this was part of a larger plan that Malgus has going...
  20. That's weird. The LotS DCE has not been mentioned since the launch, and I can't find any info on the main page or the forums, nor is it available in the online shop. Any info about this @JackieKo @CommunityTeam @EricMusco ?
  21. Never had that weapon, so can't say for sure. But it woulden't surprise me if there are bugs with weapons, it might just not be that widespread of a problem, depending on how many players have bugged weapons and reports it.
  22. I've never seen bits of weapons missing in cutscenes that I can remember, but I have seen holsters/scabbards missing in cutscenes, and they have gone unfixed for years now, wich is sad.
  23. It fits the theme, true enough, but I'd rather have CC's, since RNG is not fun at all imo...
  24. True. But not every one agrees with cartel packs replacing the lost CC's, and that they are of equal value, wich they are not. CC's are much better, since as I mentioned, you can get what you want with them, instead of cartel packs, wich is pure RNG, and usually will not get you what you want... As for the collections unlock price hike, yes, that might very well be an oversight, but I still feel like they should come out and tell us why they did that.
  25. Agreed. The devs promise better communication, but then fail to follow up on that. When will they learn that going radio silent is not good for the game, and makes the players wonder what's going on, and getting no almost answers, unless it blows up in spectacular fashion on the forums...
