  1. It wouldn't matter this late in the season. Even if you were max level with all expansions available, you still wouldn't be able to finish in time. You can only do 7 weeklies per week, so it takes about 10 weeks to get to level 100. With 2 weeks, you could get maybe 20-30 levels max. Your only chance of getting all the rewards at this point would be buying them with real money (cartel coins) for a dollar per level (it adds up quick). Just so you know: Galactic Seasons are twice a year, starting in February-March for the spring season and August-September for the fall season. If you focus on leveling and finishing stories now, you might be ready in time for the fall season.
  2. I don't think this is a bug. Torian is a class companion for Bounty Hunter Origin Story, so only characters with the Bounty Hunter Origin Story can get Torian back from the terminal.
  3. You can miss 5 weeks and still be fine. There are 20 weeks each season, 7 weeklies per week, so the 15th week is 105 out of 100 (only have to do 2 weeklies the last week). That leaves 5 weeks of leeway, but I'm not saying I like this type of design. However, it's sort of the nature of MMOs to have limited-time events and items. It's something everyone will be confronted with if they play an MMO long enough. Eventually, a player discovers items no longer available that they can never have. The player can decide to be satisfied with what's still available and keep playing or stick to single player games where everything is always available no matter when they play. It's similar to how an MMO cannot be "beaten" because there will always be another update around the corner. The player can never get the closure of beating the game and moving on. It's something the player has to get used to if they want to keep playing. What works for me is treating MMOs (and all live-service games) as hobbies. For example, if someone is into model airplanes, they are never going to have every model airplane every made. Even the ones they want to collect, they probably won't get all of them. There will always be holes in their collection. Items will be discontinued or made before they got into the hobby or even were born. They won't be able to find everything they want, or they will be too expensive to buy from resellers. Similarly, the hobby doesn't have an expectation of being completed (like watching a movie). It's something that is ongoing and continues bringing joy to those that like model airplanes.
  4. Have you tried any of these guides yet? https://swtorista.com/articles/how-to-play-swtor-on-a-controller/ https://www.reddit.com/r/swtor/comments/1hq478c/full_controller_support_for_swtor_is_here/
  5. It doesn't really make sense for Empire players to have him. He absolutely hates everything Empire, so he would never serve them. Maybe they can make a similar propaganda droid for Empire though.
  6. It's not inconvenient, but why should I have to reinstall from swtor.com if it's working fine for me on Steam? There's no need to switch unless it's having problems. So yes, the original poster, should try switching because they are having problems, but not everyone playing through Steam has to switch. Roxxor's post gave me the impression that everyone playing through Steam has lots of problems and needs to switch asap when the reality is that most players don't have problems and can continue playing on Steam unless their SWTOR starts having problems on Steam. Sorry for any confusion.
  7. What server is this? Just curious so I can avoid that one. Should be fixed with a server restart whenever they get the message.
  8. It's not down that often. Usually only once a week on Tuesdays for maintenance and typically only 15 minutes for rolling restarts. Yes, it is another thing running in the background, but for people like me that already play lots of games on Steam, it's nice to have SWTOR in the same place. I still buy subscription/cartel coins here, so SWTOR gets all the money instead of Steam taking 30% of every sale.
  9. Yes, the newest items always have the lowest drop rate. I wouldn't be surprised if they are lower than normal this year to make it more of a credit sink. Unlike Emperor chips (which drop in all kinds of activities and out in the world), Kingpin chips are pretty rare as random drops, so most Kingpin spins will be paid for with credits. That makes them a good place to lower drop rates. They may have also lowered drop rates for the other two machines' new items, but players get a lot of those chips from random drops and can mostly avoid those credit sinks (if they take the time to farm them). You can get Emperor chips pretty easily as random drops from PvE activities and killing mobs out in the world. It still takes time to farm them if you want a lot, but you can get a 100 or 200 before the event ends without too much of grind. There's some strategies in this guide here: https://todayintor.com/2025/07/08/swtor-nar-shaddaa-nightlife-event-guide-2025/#strategy-guide
  10. The only one I've seen doing these is Ivano1337 on Youtube. Here is a 7.6 one that is free to view: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPAB89CQdMI. He has a newer one for 7.7, but it's members only: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDjvQEqxCtc. (It's not worth paying for to me.) There might be guilds with their own list in their guild discord, but you won't be able to find that in search engines. That's one of the downsides of online communities moving to more private platforms like Discord.
  11. It's been like this since 7.0 came out. Dantooine used to Bolster players to level 70 and Mek-Sha used to Bolster players to level 75. It worked basically the same as how Bolster works in Veteran flashpoints to increase player stats to level 80. For some reason they took that out in 7.0 but left the missions as-is. No idea why they haven't fixed this. I assume it's a bug, but I've never seen any response acknowledging it.
  12. I don't know what you mean by Gray Jedi, like some official organization? I'm only referring to alignment. If you play KOTOR 1 and look at the background on Jolee Bindo's character sheet, it shows gray because he's in the middle between light and dark. That's what I mean by gray Jedi. I would put Kira slightly more light side, but closer to the middle than to the light side.
  13. The higher the better. I was able to solo them with 330 green gear, but 340 gear is easy to get these days. Also, augments add a pretty big stat boost to scaled content because they scale separately from the base gear. The cheapest ones for level 80 are 296 and should work just fine for this. To be clear, 340 gear should be more than enough to handle Story mode. Adding 296 augments should be enough to handle Veteran mode.
  14. I've soloed all of them on Story and Veteran with Lightning Sorcerer. I'm not sure about Master, but that one is not very soloable with any combat style these days. One the boss fights that gives people trouble is in Fallen Empire Chapter XII: Visions in the Dark when no companion is available. There are three boss fights there, but the second one is the hardest. If you know how to play your class well, you can handle it. Lightning Sorcerer is pretty good at kiting and the boss is melee, so this reduces damage taken by a good amount. I can say Lightning Sorcerer was a lot easier than Marksmanship Sniper just because Marksmanship Sniper can't do any DPS on the move like Lightning Sorcerer can. However, Sniper players can just switch to Engineering or Virulence and do fine. I think Sorcerer is one of the better ones for soloing because they have good self-healing and defensive cooldowns (absorb shield, Force Barrier complete immunity for 6+ seconds) plus the ability to kite all melee enemies. The best would probably be Gunnery Commando/Arsenal Mercenary. They can't kite enemies very well, but they have good self-healing and even better defensive cooldowns (25% damage reduction, immunity AND reflect shield). When you start a Fallen Empire and Eternal Throne chapter, none of your companions can be summoned except the one required at that point in the story. You can't use previous class companions or cartel market companions, only the companion that is allowed at that point in the story. This is because the companions play a bigger role in each chapter. They have voice lines they have to say. The story won't make sense without them, so you companion is restricted. In most chapters they give you a companion, but there's Fallen Empire Chapter XII: Visions in the Dark with no companion for the whole chapter and a few other chapters with isolated segments without a companion (some having boss fights).
  15. Most of the multi-stage bonuses out in the world seem to shift xp. There are a handful that don't but most of them do. On the other hand, the ones inside flashpoints never shift xp. They usually unlock a bonus boss which is nice in veteran and master mode, but not that great in story mode because story mode doesn't have interesting drops from bosses.
