  1. Upper right of your screen, look for the word "Support", click on that and it will take you to the Customer Service links, FAQs, and how to contact CS. • USA: 1-855-GO-SWTOR (1-855-467-9867) • UK, Germany, France: 00800 0246 9273 (008000 BIOWARE) • (Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore: +800 0246 9273 (+8000 BIOWARE)
  2. You CHOSE to play a MMORPG which is designed for multi-player. Yes, most MMOs are designing content for those who refuse to or prefer to not group with others, but the focus on a MULTI-PLAYER game is still going to be group content.
  3. Actually, it isn't impossible. Reread the definition you yourself quoted for whine, specifically the very last line in your quote.
  4. I totally agree with you here. I'm playing alts and running group content with my guild so it's working out nicely for me.
  5. Kaon hard mode is one of the easiest flashpoints to do, it's barely more difficult than the normal mode version and much more valuable to run because the gear from normal is garbage. Every trash mob in that flashpoint can be CCd, and they should be if your group is having a hard time. The mercenaries, the ones that do the channeled CC have to be controlled. The instance is a measure of teamwork and player skill. If your group cannot, or refuses to use your CC abilities, interrupts and focus fire, you are definitely not ready for other hard modes or operations.
  6. Which is the OP's complaint, at endgame there is nothing he or she enjoys doing solo. Kind of ironic when many of the posts here on the forums have the exact opposite complaint, that players say they can't find anyone to do stuff with at 50.
  7. The funny thing about MMORPGs is that they tend to be geared for players who want to group and experience an online game with other players, not those who prefer to play solo.
  8. This is a tantrum, i.e. "I WANT IT NOW!" and I will hold my breath until I get what I want.
  9. It's only mandatory if your raid leader makes it so. If TS is working great for your Ops group I doubt you'd change. It's much more useful with pugs, or half pugged groups, I will admit.
  10. No problem! I figured you hadn't really seen a readycheck function in action, it's incredibly helpful. A few of my raid groups also used it as a voting system too, like asking if we should continnue on past raid end time, which boss we should do next when we had a choice, or messing around like "should we heal dps next attempt?" Funny thing, that last one almost always got more No responses, and we always have more dps than tanks and healers!
  11. Your original post isn't feedback, it's more of a tantrum. BioWare has stated, as recently as last Friday, that server transfers are coming. Do you think they are holding them back because they like seeing people freak out on the forums? No, they are working on making sure everything will go smoothly when they are opened for everyone. The Oceanic transfers appear to have been a test case, and there were some bugs that had to be worked out.
  12. I had a pre-launch guild with some real life friends I actually met through WoW years ago. None of my friends I grew up with play MMOs though, but I'm going to get my brother into this game later this summer when I build a new PC and give him my current one.
  13. It is more, because the raid leaders and assistants can see who responded. Just asking on voice chat never works, because some people don't speak or have their mic set up, there's always that one person whose mic is REALLY REALLY LOUD, someone had the music turned up too loud and didn't hear, and the person who ran outside because their pool was on fire missed the ready check entirely. It worked great in WoW because it was a dialog box that popped up on everyone's screen and they had to click yes or no, so they actually had to be ready or damn close to it to respond with a 'yes'.
  14. Sounds like a bug, the order you put them in the assembler doesn't matter. Open up a /bug ticket and if you have the 8000 credits by the item on Tat and try it again. If you make the same shard, make sure to mention you spent the money for the item to disassemble the cube in your ticket.
  15. I'm pretty positive that if new droid companions will be coming in the future that there will be new, i.e. easier and better ways to gear them up than what is currently in the game. Especially if they are for all classes.
  16. What's not clear about this statement: "This does not apply to all items with a set bonus, only those where the set bonus is attached to the Armoring modification."?
  17. I want SWTOR to crush my enemies, see them driven be---wait, not that's what's best in life. I want BioWare to keep moving along they way they have, I'm very happy with the reaction the developers have had to the community (I'm realistic) and I think the game is on the right track. Nothing is perfect right out of the box.
  18. I think that BioWare should never let us rename our Legacy. It is stated multiple places both in the game, on this website and on others that the name is permanent and applies to all your characters on a server. If someone cannot, or refuses to not understand those words, then they should be stuck with whatever name they chose when they did. If you want a new Legacy name, re-roll to a new server or delete all your characters on your existing character and start over. Call it a learning experience, like when you first touched something hot and it burned you so you learned never to do that again.
  19. None of your examples are content. You just want instant grouping.
  20. The turret idea is great, the execution of the turrets is not.
  21. I'll focus on one particular aspect of the game which actually is something I both like and dislike: the gameplay. I really enjoy the way that combat can flow especially for the Jedi/Sith classes. I can start an attack on a target and then switch while the animation or cast is going and then start my next attack, so combat looks very active and engaging, very movie-like in my opinion. Tanking is very fun, perhaps healing can be a bit lackluster at times but that's generally how healing is, and dps is a blast. Literally. What I don't like is the challenge level of the pve content. Sometimes it is much too eas, and sometimes for some classes specific fights can be incredibly frustrating. Specifically group content, i.e. flashpoints and operations can lack a real challenge other than brute forcing your way through it when you have the right gear and/or stats. I understand and appreciate that there has to be different levels of challenge (story mode, hard mode, nightmare) but I don't like how the more difficult modes are just more damage done/needed, more healing done/needed, etc., etc. I would love to see harder modes require different strategies in order to succeed. Not something as simple as "stack up on the healer", but maybe adding in a couple of new mechanics to the fight, or having your Ops group have to split off into two different areas of the zone. Almost like having an entirely different boss fight for each boss. I'm sure it's much harder to create content this way, but I think the players would definitely appreciate the differences more than the current raiding model in MMOs.
  22. Both games you mentioned have definite ends. A MMORPG doesn't.
  23. The only thing I didn't like about the Consular story was I also really like Qyzen, he's my second favorite companion out of all the ones I've experienced so far.
