Actually, if you gear up M1-4X he's a great tank. He's got some very good aoe threat and a nice pull, and if you micromanage a bit you can use it to grab a runner that is coming for you. I've even had him tank the 30s and 40s flashpoints for me and two other players, but I've dualboxed MMOs in the past so I'm a bit more comfortable with that type of play. Also, he's got some of the best commentary out of any companion in the game!

No, your complaint was that you can't sell stuff on the GTN but people are selling stuff by chatting in General or Trade. I don't see what your problem is. If something isn't selling, then lower your price. If you want to lower the prices, then put a bit of work in. Undercut people but still keep your profit margin. Unless your post is a veiled attempt to complain about server population, then you should really post in one of those threads before this one gets locked and/or deleted for spam.

I did every quest on every planet while leveling up my first 50, all the heroics too. None of them were ever grey to me.

No, you read the post on the forum today from someone who said his "friends" got banned for using third party log parser sites and/or programs, when what really happened is his friends got caught cheating and/or using exploits but blamed it on third party programs. Because as we have seen from the likes of Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds, if you get caught cheating, never admit it!

So this is another "don't blame the player blame the game" posts? It's actually quite easy to gear up in this game without having to spend tons of money, and it's quite easy to make money without having to do a ton of grinding. I'd look in the Crew Skills forum for some answers.

Uh, Eve doesn't change in the way you are talking about in your posts. The only dynamic is player control of space, which would work exactly the same in this game if a group of several hundred players hung around the outside of an enemy city and killed any player coming or going from it. That's not content.

Because if the world was constantly changing, then people don't have the same game experience that others have. This works in a tabletop-style RPG that has a handful of players, but doesn't work at all for a large scale online game. Seriously, think hard about it. Like you wouldn't complain if I was on your server and was able to get an item that you could never get solely because I completed a quest before you did.

Actually, you can't get the yellow schematics from the daily commendations vendor, and you can't get the red ones from the pvp vendor. It's a bad decision, you should be able to get all of the color crystal schematics by both vendors, so if you want to pvp you can get the same schems as someone who doesn't, and vice versa.

No, because that can't happen the way you want it to in an MMO that many people are playing without altering the experience for every single player because one player affected the world. Think, man.

Having to do a series of quests then ending in a flashpoint isn't different from doing dailies. You would have to do a series of quests that take the same time as dailies do in order to get the items you want. The thing about dailies is that they are optional. You can get implants and relics in different ways, but if you want the ones from the commendation vendors you have to do the dailies. Not everything can be fun all of the time, it's juts impossible in an MMO that isn't adding new content daily.
