Seriously. Doesn't it strike you as odd to implement two different sets because you want to differ between pve and pvp equipment. And then when you realize that you actually have two different sets of equipment you make a broken bolster to "fix" it.? -Hey, lets create two gear sets! One PVP and one PVE. And like.. the pvp gear is much better in player fights. They do that in WOW so we just copy it. I think its great" [waiting period] -Guys, we have two different gear sets so now you have to have PVP gear to play pvp! -Dammit. How did this happen? -They have it in wow so we wanted it too. -Ok, How to fix? -Well. We want to keep the two sets. (Since they have it in wow) So we just add some bolster to it? - Great. Hello. I'm pretty new on the Operative/Scoundrel class so I want to ask some veterans how they play it. Its fine when you sneak up on someone and you get your stealthed attack and some followups. But this is just one target. My main problem is the lack of DPS when I have to continue the engagement unstealthed. Many fights are concentrated around the objectives and they drag out for a long time. I feel really useless after the initial alpha attack. If I even get that far considering all the aoe attacks flying around. So maybe this is not what I should be doing then? Should i sneak around attacking only soft targets? Guard objectives etc. I must say I'm a bit underwhelmed by this class overall. Any rated teams that use operative for something?

Why do you choose the option that gives the maximum discontent? Ideal would be 00:00 midnight saturday for US => Sunday morning europe as early as possible for US and morning for europe.

Lol, you are arguing against yourself. You have very little time to play the game. So you want time consuming gear grind?? Fail. You should be happy. No gear advantage is better for you.

Welcome back. You haven't missed anything. PvP is still full of ridiculous broken stuff like too many stuns and naked pvp. Any gear you have is probably obsolete. But you pvp naked anyway so no problem.

This is were you and I are differing. Maybe its different for role players or some freak with low esteem that desperately need to believe he is on a star wars adventure. Not saying this applies to you in any way of course. Anyway, I do not "become my character" when playing. I don't relate to it in a way that "I am doing this". I rather see it as an interactive adventure of sorts. It feels nice watching a cute girl own ppl with a light sabre. Really. I often speak of the avatar in third person. At other times.. well I dont really reflect on it at all. Its just me as a player and I behave like myself and I dont get any existential problems whether I control a girl, man or green blob.

No idea. I find the lack of tactical depth a bit disturbing. And the skill you need for being a "good" player is not that deep either. That you spend half the fight stunned is also a bit annoying. So we'll see. But you point to a disturbing reality perhaps. The PVP in this game is not that hot so without any gear progression it looses its point. Doesn't this seem pretty sad?

Hello. I started playing 3 weeks ago. With dedication and the double XP weekends I managed to hit 50 this saturday. I've been doing pvp to level a lot. It was ok until 40. After 40 when I got all my skillz I owned in warzones. Then at 50 I hit the most massive BRICK WALL ever encountered. But! Then comes naked pvp patch. And voila. Suddenly PVP is about skills and fun. No more gear requirement. I'm far from owning but I totally do my team part in the game. Dont cry over naked pvp. This is what pvp should be. Just about the fun. No more grinding. Everyonw wins.

My sub ends in two days (the free one) but I havnt played in several weeks. My biggest problem was empty server. There was noone to play with basically. I think I will fondly unwrap this game for christmas and see what happened. Maybe even make it a special christmas holidy 1 month sub in the future?
