  1. lol like anything outside the story is exciting to begin with?
  2. Yeah so I've reduced the entire combat system down to one button spam. Throw out the occasional aoe for aggro then keep spamming my one button and winning at Swtor PVE.
  3. Are there even any rare/unique items in this game?
  4. I mean this is what separates the casuals from the hard core now a days. In this WOW centric theme park world games have gotten easier. Is there really any hard content in SWTOR end game when it comes to raiding? Of course not. Once you figure out the mechanics it's just like every other wow-centric theme park out there, you just get it done. But what WOW did to add life to it's end game was the achievement system to give the hard core something to brag about with all the achievement rewards. This way casuals got to see all the content but the hard core got all the glory. Do you think SWTOR needs an Achievement system for going above and beyond the regular tired old mechanics?
  5. SWTOR = Kotor 3 leveling, and WOW End Game... How did you not see this happening? Also It gets harder to level as you go, because all the side quests mostly suck. The planet arcs mostly suck. The best part of SWTOR is the personal quest, and that becomes less and less of your leveling as you go. This was all stated as such by Daniel Erickson during the many interviews that he did, that by end game your personal story only accounts for something like 10% of your leveling.
  6. Bored waiting for this Heroic 4 to start, and was thinking... what if Bioware doesn't launch it's next expansion with SGRA, even though they committed to including them at some point in the future? (edit: SGRA = Same Gender Romance Arcs, the ability for players to romance companions that are the same sex as you)
  7. How do you create a system that reward healers, but can't be abused?
  8. Since I downtalk the Bioware Staff, Let me put my money where my mouth is: Instead of instituting the fail system Bioware is proposing Bioware needs to set it up so when a crafter "crits" on gear, he doesn't get an orange piece with an augment slot, he gets an 'Augment Slot Creator'. The Crafter can then sell that creator, and then players can add that socket piece to any gear adding an augment slot. Make the Augment Creator only work on level appropriate gear (work on any piece up to the level of the gear that was made to crit it) and then they give the power back to the players.
  9. And Bioware is the Rebecca Black of MMO. You can't honestly say that Bioware is a better company than Blizzard right now. And yeah this is just another in a long laundry list of Bioware fumbling through the MMO process. Apparently Bioware doesn't get what it means to play or make an MMO yet so they are still learning. And don't expect developers to come to these threads any more, just find a guild leader to give this question to since apparently that's the only way developers can hear what players are saying, is if they are told in person.
  10. Not all leaders, some leaders get all expenses paid. The ones pre-invited.
  11. That's because GW2 fans will be able to let the game speak for itself. SWTOR fans have to come up with excuses and apologize for their game.
  12. Sometimes it feels like Bioware is trying to invent the pen to write in space instead of a pencil.
  13. How hard would it actually to set up a form on the website where players submit their questions, bioware picks out the top questions for various developers, those developers would then answer those questions on fridays like they did those other things during beta. There, saves everyone heartache and stress, and gets involvement with your playerbase... and I'm not even on the community management team...
  14. Honestly though, what's the point of having forums if developers are going to select players and only answer those questions after those people have flown across the planet and stayed in Austin for a couple days. Does Bioware even know they have forums?
  15. I still don't see what this will solve. They have the forums. They can run their fancy search engines and figure out what the hot topics are. They have a community management team and staff, why can't they simply address this on the forums. Why does Bioware need to have a dog and pony show... instead of just doing their job on the forums on a daily basis? Is this entire charade so Bioware can push having to deal with the fans till after the summit? Is that the new Bioware stance on community relations? Tell everyone that wants answers from the development team to wait until after the summit now? Why can't people just submit all their questions online through a form and then Bioware can pick out the most popular questions and answer them directly? Doesn't that seem the most fair to the player base? Does Bioware even understand that the internet exists? That people can and do things online? Why does Bioware make it so easy to troll them?
  16. Someone needs to teach David Bass about Google Hangouts... Good enough for the President of the United States, but not good enough for Bioware?
  17. Log into SWTOR, hit auto run, then spam C (or open/close your character sheet) you can do this with any window but character sheet is the most pronounced. This coupled with the horrible raid frames that rarely update properly, is this all caused because the UI redraws the entire screen each time a new window opens?
  18. Why does Bioware keep saying they fixed something they clearly didn't fix?
  19. As of right now, fully patched, I have 7 quests I can not abandon. Bioware, your UI team. Do you even have a UI team? Or is this intern work ?
  20. Yeah so is there a team that is fixing basic mechanics like getting what is in the game to work? Like... a properly functioning Auction house. Or vendors... that you know... sort properly. That when I sort by equippable it does something crazy like... sort things that are equippable. Every single coder you have needs to work on getting what you've made running properly.
  21. So first of all, if a premade is going to have your comp... so will other premades so I don't see what the problem is. Honestly premades are going to need tanks. What's your point? Also... what class has aoe fear?
  22. Yes that is enough. This is why everyone keeps copying Blizzard. This is what Trion did and what Bioware did. They don't care about quality product, they get investments for profit, not quality.
