  1. If they had sold SWTOR as a Co-OP Rpg, do you think you would have enjoyed it more? Do you think most of the rage stems from the fact Bioware is charging a monthly fee for something is only barely passable as an MMO, and do you think that it would have been better received by audiences had it been marketed as a co-op rpg?
  2. This is a myth. There are plenty of shared questing areas on tatooine.
  3. In WOW you didn't have to run through STV to level.
  4. Finish those stories, then come back here and tell me how much of a marvel Bioware's story telling is.
  5. How many story lines have you gone through? The first character I got to 50, was awesome (well until the end of the story which was absolutely horrible) but the leveling experience was great. Then my next character through was alright. My 3rd... well let's just say it's getting harder and harder to log in to do the exact same treadmill. I mean even the class stories appear to be copy/pasted over one another. All that advertisement for story, and the story is basically the same thing copy/pasted 8 times.
  6. You apparently haven't leveled more than one class. Every single class follows the exact same formula and the quests on the planet don't change, at all. By your 3rd or 4th you'll realize that watching nothing but repeats.
  7. With the GW2 Press Embargo Dropping on the 20th, I would imagine that EA would have a nice big Announcement on how SWTOR is going to make all our dreams come true, maybe announce the next expansion? What do you think EA will announce on the 20th to counteract the GW2 announcements?
  8. Because the games story and leveling is the worst in any game ever and I i've done it 3 times already I couldn't bring myself to do it after this last time.
  9. Sentinel or Guardian? I have one of everything else. And to be honest I rarely faced dual wielding sith or jedi, so I don't know why not. I've been most impressed by Juggernauts, so I assume guardians are about equal. But in your educated opinion, which is better for pvp?
  10. Since picking guardian, have you wished you had rolled a Sentinel because of better dps or better performance in pvp?
  11. Honestly, come on. Every single medpac requires a confirmation box? Bioware do you even play games? I mean not even mmo. Does anyone at Bioware play anything other than facebook games? Apparently someone really really likes farmville.
  12. What are you even talking about? There is no skill based gear progression. This is participation progression. You participate, you get gear. You can lose every single warzone you ever step into you will still make Battlemaster, you will still get battlemaster gear. You honestly mistake this for being a skill based pvp? I'm sorry you think that but there is nothing skillful about being logged in more. And pay attention to what's actually being said. If a player goes from 10-49 in warzones, he has earned it. Not starting fresh at 50. You level from 10-49 earning your pvp skill, then you hit 50 and have to start all over getting beat by people with no skill because of their gear who with facerolling attacks are able to kill fresh 50s. You want to keep gear advantage as a crutch. I want REAL competitive pvp. Those of us who are REALLY competitive know that gear is a crutch for the bads. You're afraid that someone that spent 10-49 pvp'ing is going to get 50, and stomp you. Gear being equal I don't have to worry about that.
  13. No. First offense ban. Otherwise you get the current "do it until they catch me" mentality that is happening.
  14. Holy crap you're serious? You know the difference between you and me? I don't look at "grinding gear" with respect. Because fresh 50s will still die to me if they haven't been practicing their class with leveling. The only seperating most players right now is a gear advantage. When I'm geared out I want others geared out so I can fight people on equal footing and make whoever wins down to team comp and skillful play.
  15. Please explain to me Bioware why your policy isn't immediate banning of all guilty cheaters? Why warn/suspend them? How does this stop people from exploiting everything they can? Right now you Bioware have created an atmosphere of exploit early/exploit often and more and more players are falling into this at 50 to gear up as fast as possible, because the deterrance is just not there. EVEN IF THEY ARE CAUGHT, it's not like people are getting banned. Warnings, and they get to keep all the progress they made until they were caught. Ban them. Take a stand.
  16. So other than your anedotal isolated exception to the rule story, you're trying to tell me that the absolutely rampant gaming of the system, cheating, and hacking isn't being done at the moment so that people can gear up as fast as possible and guarantee wins? You're honestly telling me that's not going on? That people are all playing to pvp instead of grinding to gear up.
  17. Also that's the major complaint about gearing in WOW. It's just that Trion and Bioware hired people that had never actually played any other MMO than WOW to make their pvp systems.
  18. not good enough. people that want to pvp to 50, are penalized for it. they shouldn't be. if a player wants to play swtor for it's pvp, then why are people being so penalized for that at 50.
  19. The difference between champ and battle isn't so great so ok. But honestly if you level through pvp and get to 50 it should not be such an uphill grindy exploiting battle.
  20. At this point I honestly don't care any more about the stories. All 8 are basically the same exact thing all the way through. I am trying to redeem the pvp in this game and by letting the people who want to pvp get geared up to continue pvp'ing at 50, will stop the rampant cheating, and warzone dropping, and everything else because players won't be so incentivized to do so.
  21. if gear is made equal across the board, there would not be such a huge massive incentive to cheat/leave in virtually every single warzone.
  22. When you hit 50, let the pvp be about the pvp. Not the grind. Bioware I know you guys are new to pvp and mmo development. I know you guys are only doing the best you can copying failed systems from other games, but they are fail systems. PVP in an instanced based them park MMO needs to be about the pvp not about the gear chase. Allow those that level in pvp, step into pvp at 50 in full battlemaster so they can compete on even footing, and enjoy the pvp. Not having to suffer through the grind to get geared out, by which point you're normally just facerolling other fresh 50s. When the ranks start up, players will be more likely to enjoy the gameplay, instead of gaming the system to continuously fight fresh 50s.
  23. Oh yeah sorry my first character was a sith inquisitor, now I'm republic. I didn't count my first.
