DarkSeieah
Hi, I've been playing for a long time but I took a very long hiatus. Now that I'm playing the game, I realized that I subbed with the monthly payment on. I only wanted to sub to unlock all the content. How do I cancel my subscription? turbomagnus
I use the one-time-payment option, so I can't be exactly certain. However, I think you go to "My SWTOR" on the website, there's a list of links on the left side of the page; third one down should be "Subscription". There will most likely be something there to cancel your subscription, but - again - I can't be certain.

This, but, when you first click on Subscription you will see your current sub time remaining, the four plans, and three lines about you payment history, billing method, and game time codes. Then there will be a big gap, so it looks like there is nothing else, but as you scroll down the cancel option will be at the bottom of the page. They try to hide it.

ceryxp
there is no cancel botton anywhere in sub any other ideas peeps If you subscribed through Steam then you will have to cancel through there. Log into your Steam account and go to the manage subscriptions area. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=8018-TAJK-6238 Edited October 24, 2020 by ceryxp
DarkTergon
There should be a unsub option at the very bottom of the page, you have to scroll down as far as you can, or so it has been said here quite a bit. I pay for the 60 days at a time, not a sub, so I've never had to do that Edit: If you've subbed through steam, ignore this and follow the above post. Cancel your subscription If you wish to cancel your subscription to Star Wars: The Old Republic: Start by logging into your account on swtor.com. Click on Subscriptions in the Account Management sidebar to the right of the screen. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Cancel your subscription. Follow the prompts to complete your subscription cancellation. NOTE: Completing the above process and cancelling your subscription will terminate your recurring subscription. If you still have pre-paid time remaining on your account, you will still be able to play as a subscriber until that time has run out, even if you have cancelled your subscription. Once your prepaid time finishes, you will become a preferred player.
SteveTheCynic
there is no cancel botton anywhere in sub any other ideas peeps My first idea is that you should keep the snark to yourself. As noted, if you subscribed through Steam, you have to cancel the subscription through Steam. Did you subscribe through Steam?
Roladys
Delete the information of the card on file by removing the checkmark that allows it to save your billing information. Save the change of removing the checkmark, then, in the box that comes up after the save, click on the delete tab. That ends the subscription. It does not end the subscription if you subscribed through Steam... And for people who subscribed through the SWTOR website, the cancel-subscription button *exists*, but you must scroll the subscription page (in MySWTOR) way far down to the bottom in order to see it.

I have scrolled as far as I can to the bottom of the Subscription page and I see no option to cancel my subscription. Also, where do I go on Steam to do so? SteveTheCynic
I have scrolled as far as I can to the bottom of the Subscription page and I see no option to cancel my subscription. If you subscribed through Steam, it isn't there. Also, where do I go on Steam to do so? It's in the account management pages (I can't see the relevant piece because I have no via-Steam subscriptions for anything) of the Steam website itself. (Not on the Steam client software.) Dennisross
I came here looking for answers and didn't find any. I did find that if I delete the current credit card being billed that ended my subscription. There is no "Cancel Subscription" button anywhere on any of the account screens anymore. SteveTheCynic
There is no "Cancel Subscription" button anywhere on any of the account screens anymore. Yes, there is. I can see it clearly on the "Subscription" tab of the My SWTOR page linked in the top of every page on this website. Well. Once I scrolled way far down to the bottom, anyway.

Akjar
here is link:https://account.swtor.com/user/subscription/cancel Aha, I think we're coming to the crux of the Bug that they've managed to introduce: This is what I see when I click the link: https://pasteboard.co/KcVphPS.png Note that it clearly states that I do have game time, and yet won't let me cancel due to not having game time. And yes, I have bought my subscription through EA. https://pasteboard.co/KcVtxwi.png https://pasteboard.co/KcVpLfd.png And yet the Cancel option is not displayed. I know it used to be there for me, I've cancelled my subscription twice before. My account is stuck in a status of "subscribed, but not subscribed", so this clearly is a recent issue that EA have managed to introduce. I'm going to call the support line later to get it cancelled, but please stop instantly beating others down for "not scrolling" (this is what the bottom looks like for me https://pasteboard.co/KcVubAp.png) or assuming that they are steam subscribers. This is the image of what you should see when you click the link https://imgur.com/a/i1bfXve Funny thing is, I'm not a continuous sub, I buy the bi monthly one, so there is nothing to cancel for me...lol Ringing would be your best hope. Just to note, there is no cancel option on my account, as I'm not a constant sub, even if I scroll down, I can't see a cancel option. The only way the cancel option popped up, was because I clicked the link. Edited July 26, 2021 by DarkTergon

Toraak
You can cancel your sub easy enough. Log into your account on the swtor website, go to subscription section, scroll all the way sown and there is a cancel subscription option at the bottom right of the screen. Yeah, it’s a gold colored text link, not a button. It’s partially overwritten by the free to play text on my phone, but it’s there. Swounds
here is link:https://account.swtor.com/user/subscription/cancel THANK YOU for posting that link! I could not find a cancel option anywhere. Part of me wonders if they removed it prior to the latest "expansion" in anticipation of a mass exodus lol. Anyway, I just canceled my sub. Might come back if the game ever comes to its senses again and is actually enjoyable. Good luck, all.

Logosentricity
I did not subscribe through Steam, and the cancel subscription does not exist at the bottom of the page.
