How do I cancel my subscription

I did not subscribe through Steam, and the cancel subscription does not exist at the bottom of the page. Those who are saying otherwise do not know what they are talking about.

I just looked, and screen-shotted it.

Look where the red arrow points. https://i.imgur.com/ZIILGJH.jpg

That's on Edge/Windows 11.

So yes, we do know what we are talking about.

I did not have the link on my screen either. I clicked the one provided in this chat and it allowed me to cancel sub. Just chiming in that it happened to me too.

The link in my screenshot goes to the same place.

There's clearly something wrong on the website, but even worse, it's something inconsistent. Among the people who *should* have the link, some have it, and some do not. It seems to be consistent for any one person, but not between different people. Ugh.

There was no option to unsubscribe for me anywhere in the SWTOR account information.  I had to go deep into STEAM, Settings, view account details, manage subscriptions, edit SWTOR.

That is completely normal.  If you subscribe through Steam, you must cancel through Steam.

It's not too hard if you know where to look (Click Account name (top-right)->Click Account details->Click Manage subscriptions). Figuring out where to look is the hard part. The account name is buried in dim, tiny text in the top right. I never even knew that was there until someone told me about it. Yeah, if I took the time to scan the whole screen, I'd see it, but I just assumed like most programs that all options would be in the top left (Steam, View, Friends, etc.) like most Windows programs. There really should be a Subscription section on the game page in library that shows how many days left, when you'll be charged next, and the Manage Subscription link.

This, but, when you first click on Subscription you will see your current sub time remaining, the four plans, and three lines about you payment history, billing method, and game time codes. Then there will be a big gap, so it looks like there is nothing else, but as you scroll down the cancel option will be at the bottom of the page. They try to hide it.

Thanks, this took me forever.

I resubbed to take advantage of the GS rewards (though it's a little less useful since they gutted the CCs this season). I usually use the origin bundle but the EA App malware has replaced Origin so the deluxe bundle is gone too. I decided to do a 30 day sub then I couldn't figure out how to unsub. I've been playing since 2013 so I should be used to BioWare's sleazy tactics but they can still surprise me.

My gosh, what a CHEAP CHEAP trick SWTOR. :classic_ohmy: Dudes have no standards trying to keep every single person signed with a trick to practically hide "cancel" button. What times to be alive.

Just log in, klick "my SWTOR" > "Subscription", scroll down, klick "Cancel your subscription". There is no trick. You just need to be able to read.

I am a current sub, I've subbed before and I've cancelled before, I don't play through steam either, the link is no longer there for me and when I just try to use the https://account.swtor.com/user/subscription/cancel link it just tells me that I don't have enough gametime, I'm halfway through 2 different character classes...

That's definitely a bug. I'd suggest contacting customer service.

Did you subscribe by the 60 day "Billed once" option (the one at the top of the list in your image)?  If so, there's nothing to cancel.

But if you use the cancel URL he mentioned, you should still see information about canceling your subscription and not the "I don't have enough gametime," message he mentions.

To be sure, the message is wrong, but a person who bought a non-renewing subscription block ***cannot*** cancel the subscription because it won't renew anything.
