Some just like to be evil for the sake,of being evil and writing out a char much loved by others from the main stories just to annoy them. Its usually the male players calling for the female LIs to be the ones killed just to shaft us again and again.

Exactly, one of the reasons I romanced Theron was because he was part of the main story so it felt like his (and Lana's) romance was fuller than everyone else's, especially after the bulk of the class romances got shafted. If it happens, then it happens, but I can only hope that they still give the guy content for those who leave him alive, otherwise it's screwing over fans that want to pursue malexmale romances even further, especially since both Koth and Arcann are also killable.

Female players have no major LIs left unkillable either if they remove Theron. Only a couple of vanilla LIs already being ignored anyways. Its tiring being in the continuely shafted groups in games. Only straight males actually matter apparently.

Not really information about an expansion and knowing one is coming doens't mean much.

 

More information is needed. For all we know 6.0 is nothing but a patch of mediocrity in both size and content.

I am. You see he betrayed my trust and the trust of the Alliance. No amount of subtle hints changes that. He can't even reason himself out being the traitor he is. They whole did it for the greater good is a joke and a lie. He betrayed everyone in the Alliance by showing another group where another super weapon is that I have no doubt destroys the fleet if not iokath itself, setting forth the useless Rep. vs Emp fight all over again. The only thing worse that could be added to that is adding in malgus as some kind of returned from pit fiasco.

 

He is a traitor to the alliance and he will die if bioware has the "junk" to put it in.

Kaliyo's killable and so is Vette. Which leaves Lana LOL. I would assume they'll introduce new romanceable characters but I still don't think it's right to mug off the old ones.

As an addendum, here are some notes I took of the things I found interesting:

• there will at least be a 5.9.1 and 5.10 before 6.0 released
  
• there will be an expansion (empire vs republic)
  
• Jaesa coming back... "not a very long wait"
  
• BWA thinking about a "polymorph" wz
  
• sorc / sage improvement coming, whether utilities or buffing the class (in addition to multiple classes utilities changing)
  
• pvp gear - expertise might come back (but it's a massive amount of work)
  
• Ranked Season 9 ending midsummer. rewards still being decided
  
• Serious internal conversations about ranked warzones - possible solution is ranked wz events
  
• Might be able to kill Theron
  
• New Stronghold coming
  
• Malgus is probably dead
  
• tracer missile animation coming back (just kidding)
  

 

I don't suppose you have a time stamp for the might kill Theron thing? I'd like to hear it in context but I dunno if I can sit through hours of podcast audio.

This way they can drum up interest on both the will we or won't we let you kill Theron front. Stir interest in those who want to kill him and also stir up interest in those wanting to keep him alive by not giving a direct yes or no answer.
