You got it here. He started as so important, and co-support character and story driver alongside Lana (I far preferred having the two, rather then just Lana. It's not right without them both being equally important in story anymore). Now if you remove every single time he says something in a cutscene post-Nathema nothing he says/does, absolutely nothing, makes any impact at all on the story line. This was my main meaning in regards to my canon remark. If he was canon main story character now, it would actually cause issues in the story line to remove everything he says. Try doing the same with Lana.. I don't even hate Lana, I actually see her as a good friend of my character regardless... but I still think she gets too much time and emotional scenes. Also if you saved Arcann and Senya But yeah not meaning to derail more. I am actually more peeved off at all my story flag bugs, including losing 2 Theron romances the same way as op. 5 of my 7 of my characters got ruined and I have had to start over. Finally learned my lesson: don't play new content until the next content drop to avoid story bugs as much as possible.

You've been hit by one of the bugs. I got a ton of story flags ruined in the last content drop, including romance flags, just as I'd come back to the game after a over a year's break.. -.-' nearly made me rage quit the game again. I do not think they can retroactively fix it. Some of my characters have been broken for a while including my SI who still has the quest for 'cheating' / 'change of romance' locked in her quest log can't be completed as she hasn't flirted with anyone but Andronikos. 2 years ago i said they'd do this. because now that Theron can be --- we will have Lana for everything except a throw away line here and there that is ejected into the cutscene randomly by him that has absolutely no point overall. "Canon-wise", he's not meant to be there since we got that option. *shrug*

My favourite 9 are based on story and how the characters have built themselves into fictional people for me. I actually have like 40 characters >.> but only those 9 from earlier in the thread are meaningful for me. All based on stories.

Oh goodness, so many far better looking characters in here. Ah well, I'll throw my ugly tree spawns into the pile. My oldest characters no longer exist as they are on an account I had to get locked a couple of years ago due to being hacked so I have to stick to my favourites. Chaytara is a remake, other than the hair, of my very first character just as a knight rather then a consular. She acts as a philosophical foil to my current main sith warrior lass. Dereyn , my bounty hunter, is the oldest of my bunch of story/rp/headcanon characters. She was stylised on an old friend. Keletra is the second edition of trying to get an appearance I liked for my main story SW , mostly as new appearances and hairstyles got released. Saffaiah being the 2nd most recent edition. Phyrii is my sarcastic, dangerous sith Inquisitor. Ashiella is my main agent. Xirena Lii is my Jedi Consular, she is my only character not to romance anyone. It's not her style, she's not interested in relationships. Kyr , my smuggler, And CC, another consular and my only male character, are in the middle of a messy but funny short story with another smuggler.

I hate barging in but I don't want to make another thread and can't seem to find if anyone else recieved the glitch I got. I did @ the main swtor account on twitter but really don't know how to report it. One of his dialogue lines in the Alliance Alert glitched out completely on me, doesn't even use his voice. Starts about 54/55 second mark. can't miss it really.

From everything Charles and co have said, or not said, it sounds like the next story stuff hasn't even been written yet, or is still in planning stages. This would mean we have a very long time to wait.

I definitely hope they do, not just skin, scars, etc but hair too. However after the backlash caused by them upgrading the eye textures I highly doubt they will go near updating any other pc character creation stuff with a ten foot pole. We screwed ourselves over because of their last attempt because things WILL look different when they do a big overhaul like that, just as it did with eyes.

I've been chased off Ao3 twice by "swtor fans" so far, I'm not a very confident sharer as much as I love doing the writing and I'm not in any group that can support me going through that however. in this day and current year woo stuff, yes having all those fem+Scourge fics, art etc if he becomes m/m WILL cause a lot more problems for the artists and writers then a few "we don't like you doing that" comments. Anyway on topic- it will not kill those only wanting Lana around for her to step back for a couple of story chapters/updates and share/give the spotlight to other characters for a while. seriously.

They never said Quinn-haters were cruel for railing against him existing in the game. They gave them a kill scene just because. They never said Koth-haters were cruel for not wanting him around, they let us chase him off and kill instead. Hell they even caved to those who wanted Theron gone. Kaliyo gone too so it's not a males only thing. but Lana? why's she suddenly so special and why's it cruel all of a sudden? I ask that as someone who likes Lana and doesn't want her gone, but wants her to step back and let some other characters, preferably class story LI's at the very least, have some limelight and scenes for a little bit. There really is such a thing as too much of one character and I don't need her removed from my game, just request a different npc takes over for a bit, or a few of them to have a break from her.

This is an amazing looking world, and even the new characters look like more care has been put into their design. I love it!

I can't even seem to get motivated to write mine anymore, but that's not swtor's fault at least xD . I took a few months break and recently got an extra couple of paragraphs done. It's something. I think my sub is up, again, in 4 days. I mainly just resubbed so I could buy the Rishi Stronghold since you can't do that as a f2p (credit cap) and to get the next pokemon type companion which was actually a happy accident as I found out the dates after I subbed lmao.

*coughs* I actually really like Lana.. Doesn't mean I don't want, and often request, more stuff with the rest of the companions but I'm not about to join the hate parade, sorry xD Theron remains my favourite, but I've been numbed to his situation of unlikely to get any other content then what we saw and maybe some mail for a few months now. I can't even get excited for new story stuff, it's all 'meh'.

I think Theron recognises two returning companions. Aric, and Kaliyo (mentions them being part of the crew if with the corresponding class) I was rather confused they didn't recognise any others however... it's obvious they both had dossiers, and files and everything on everything to do with the player-characters, whatever their class.

The issue with the attempt at comparing Doc and Lana is that it is not comparable in this current situation, for those who don't want to interact with Lana their only option is to not play the game -at all- they can't just not play a faction or just not play a class (as you can't choose your class companions either so this is an issue since the game's release) since she's there for everyone for everything since SoR. edit: and giving more companions, more characters to get to know etc is making it worse for the class companions who will get less then their almost nothing as it is. Back when kotfe was first released I was adamant they would never give an LI character a kill option, or even a leave option (because exact same result for future content) but they disappointed me 350% with that very first one. The game hasn't been the same since, nor has what used to be a friendly atmosphere over companions. Since then, it has only been worry, frustration and people attacking each other.

I'm with Dracofish, I think an Imp player once again will get next to no content with him if there is any at all after this seeing as a lot of players don't have him at all, a bit like SoR where republic obviously got far more than Imperial which was mostly Lana. Sadly all my characters that I care about are Imperial ones.

Yeah, this bothered me too. However the main reason I believe he has been kept in the dark about it is that Lana sends a mail saying that only herself and the commander know about any sabotage thing at the moment, and to let her know if you wish to tell someone else. I don't want them to make it vague for rp/fanfic (both would change it themselves anyway) and hope it gets addressed in game dialogues/scenes... Personal reasons, I kinda want Theron grumpy and my character to be able to remind him he did a similar thing to her lol.

ETA on topic: Absolutely no problem with a sg locked romance, even if I believe in an mmo the everyone for everyone is a better option. So long as all these new romances don't take content in the future from the current romance options. I'm among the few who believe there is already far too many romancable characters in the game and we're all losing due to it. I do not believe a locked one should be scourge, rather a new character or another character pulled from class story era (non-companion) like M and M were Ah, thankyou! I only remembered something about loves' and eyes. Knew someone here would know the specifics better than I

The ones made through the Alliance I suppose? I have no idea. Thankfully I can fanfic fix that as much as I despise the term, since my SW apparently also has some network they want and I'm all.. uh.. how?? she pretty much killed or betrayed or stomped over everyone except Vowrawn. It's very confusing too me unless I just don't pay attention to details.

I could've sworn that Scourge talks about a former lover at one point.. a 'she'. I must be incorrect.. it's been a long, long time since I last played a JK and my memory sucks as it is xD

I took my agent through, she was able to tell Jonas straight, but he wants her Imperial network still.... Hopefully they make it worth it later on... This was just a first step, an introduction.

I don't agree with penny often, but definitely everything here. He (Charles) said, in regards to where the story goes, basically nothing other then knowing and acknowledging that there is great vocal supporters for Alliance and no-Alliance imo. I didn't mind JuS much at all, just a couple of gripes.. very different to my negative thoughts of everything since Iokath (story or otherwise), so an improvement. I'm thoroughly back in the waiting to see what happens camp before gushing about how good, or complaining about how bad, the story is now. It was the very first step, there will be more before any of this gets narrowed down. I'm more interested in what they'll do about the whole saboteur part.

I'm sad I will miss out on any rep-side stuff with Theron again, at least in kotfe there was less of this missing out on stuff due to factions. Though the choice over Senya/Arcann annoyed me as all the best theron stuff imo was if you don't save those two.
