Ultimately it was done to reset us back to a blank status to implement the Imps vs Pubs expansion without us being vastly overpowered. But that's a topic for a different thread, this is the Theron thread so we should take this convo elsewhere.

Did you kill Scorpio in the expansion? If she's alive after the Nathema FP she'll email you and tell you that GEMINI 16 was indeed omniscient and had gone rogue... You'd think Scorpio would've given us the heads up though lol. As for Valkorion, Charles tweeted that Zildrog was just an implement he used to do the killing for him like how he used his armies to do the killing for him in The Knights story arc.

At the end of the Nathema Conspiracy flashpoint I received an email telling me that Zakuul was cutting ties with the Alliance. My toon in question picked the peacekeeper option in KOTET, does something similar happen if you chose to rule over Zakuul as an Empress/Emperor?

I have a question. Did anyone else's character bio for Theron update to reflect that he's back in the Alliance/resumed his relationship with the protagonist? Mine didn't update at all, I'm wondering if that's because I used the magic console to bring him back as a companion prior to his return in the Nathema Conspiracy flashpoint. ... I hope that won't cause problems in the future with Theron's romance flag not being recognised.

I think I'll likely just buy a pass that'll allow me to make a new character at level 70+ where we can skip the class stories and KOTFE/KOTET expansions and jump straight into the new Imps vs Pubs expansion (which will undoubtedly be an option since they did it for KOTFE). I see no point in creating more level 1 toons to play the entire game only to have our companions/love interests get shafted every time a new shiny expansion happens or a particularly vocal group demands kill options.

Oh man, I just watched a clip on YouTube of what happens if you leave Theron on Nathema to die. Absolutely heartbreaking, Troy Baker is a fantastic voice actor! Urgh, I hate kill options.

I think the flashpoint serves well as an ending if no more story content happens, so there's that at least. I'm currently collecting up the community's thoughts/opinions on the 5.9 update, so feel free to DM me any complaints/praises because I'll be sending my report to the devs within the next few days.

Well, I'm pretty disappointed with the flashpoint in general. Don't get me wrong, the scenes with Theron were very sweet but I'm not happy about the kill option because now he won't feature in any story content going forward (unless they suddenly start doing a better job at including old companions and companions with multiple fates over their head). That aside, the Zildrog aspect of the story felt rushed and skimmed over, there are also some huge plot holes surrounding Valkorion/Vitiate's past actions, and the class-specific enemy felt kinda pointless. I did like a few things but I'm feeling grumpy so I can't be arsed to go into those right now lol. To be honest, I kinda hope the new expansion doesn't happen if all the new content is gonna feel rushed and as deep as a puddle.

Last month BioWare put on a trial period for the Influencer Programme, I can't get early access to anything until the trial period finishes, but what they asked me to do was give them feedback from the community on a monthly basis. In the first report I sent them I went into great detail about why it would be a bad idea to put a kill option on Theron, particularly because he's one of the few same-sex options available that features heavily in the main plot that wasn't killable etc. I can only assume that feedback wasn't seen/taken on board. Regardless, once everyone has played the flashpoint if you guys wanna post your thoughts on it/the Theron story arc I'll add it to my report. I'm waiting until Eric returns from his honeymoon to ensure it's read. I also plan to do a video review of the flashpoint on my channel, so I can gather feedback from there too. I don't know if it'll make a difference, but it's worth a try.
