Focusangel
Dunno if this is a clever thing to do.. but hey.. as if i would really care. Since the SWTOR Forum doesn't have an actual poll feature, i just made a few strawpolls. Which kind of Level-Sync do you prefer? http://strawpoll.me/5688114 How should Quest-rewards for "non-synched" players be handled? http://strawpoll.me/5688117 How should Achievements be handled? http://strawpoll.me/5688122 Did i forget anything? hansumlazurwolf
not sure how I want to answer re: achievements. Killing lots of mobs I have no problem with not being synced. Killing the World Boss, on the other hand, probably should be. If I want to vote for "depends on the achievement" should I click "I don't care"? Focusangel
Didn't think of worldbosses.. damn it. .__. And i can't edit or add anything :/ A "super mega awesome difficult boss" counts as worldboss tho, i guess
Alssaran
It is quite interesting that some of those votes are actually "total". There's little "freedom" in there. People either want it forced or optional, that's a plus. Something one might find a common ground for in regards to 4.1 or 4.2. However: The next polls are more disturbing. People either want the full rewards only when level synch is turned on and achievements not progressing as long as the level synch is denied. This could be more troublesome in finding a solution. It is the balance and disadvantage issue I have been talking about: People who like the idea or are indifferent about it seem not to like the idea that there is no advantage for choosing to do stuff at a higher difficulty or lower level. Jeweledleah
didn't vote on a second poll, becasue none of the options were palatable. how about.... when synced - new synced rewards. when not synced, original rewards that existed prior to sync change? Eanelinea
Chose, optional in heroics, some money, and everyone.
Mithros
Voted for forced sync, and then took the "no rewards" and "no achievements" options for non-synced players. Of course, if they just do the forced level sync as planned then the other two votes won't matter. But no matter where the numbers end up the poll is far from scientific, so people that disagree with the outcome(s) will just point at that and say that more people really agree with them. AshlaBoga
Meh, only world bosses that I'd ever consider "super tough" would be Ancient Threat. And only because that thing does silly amounts of damage. It's not really a healer skill check so much as a luck and latency check. I can never find a group doing the damn thing. LordBeeDoO
Hi, without any offences meant: First, I think polls on forums has no value as people who are content, who agree, or not care simply do not come here. Second, I think BW asked people not to make any threads regarding level-sync. Now, to poll anyway: I am for complete and mandatory level-sync as proposed by BW - the only question for me is how they handle bonus series areas. Together with heroics hub it will be new opportunity to play and joind with guildies to visit some long forgotten locations - and get relevant gear, money, xp, achievements and fun. Syncing which could be turned off would be the worst idea ever as mixing sync and non sync people would destroy most benefits (e.g. world bosses now cannot be soloed and some tougher will require some fight, chance to fight back in pvp areas). Dang need to kill that thing. Hard finding 24 competent people which you only need 24 cause they decided to put it on Yavin. Should have been instances and put in ToS (summoned by killing the birds after UL by using something from Hateful but I digress ) Edited October 9, 2015 by FerkWork
sentientomega
You should also incorporate my signature's suggestion, as it includes mandatory, with sub-options as per synced level..
Asheris
No sync, comms and achivements for everybody...just like we have it now
Uvirith
I guess the option to disable the sync would be okay. But only if the person that disabled sync will not be able to attack any other player, or interact with any quest-item or NPC.
Teladis
No, it being optional would be a bad idea, that can hurt future content . No option is the best. Edited October 9, 2015 by Teladis
Tahra
The thing with the first poll is though that option 1 is the only real different option. Options 2, 3 and 4 should basically just be added together because making it 100% optional gives all of those other options. Damn, these are awkward sentences.... sentientomega
No, it being optional would be a bad idea, that can hurt future content in the future. No option is the best. I agree, so what about a level range players can pick on a synced world, set by BW:A?
Teladis
I agree, so what about a level range players can pick on a synced world, set by BW:A? I must ask why at this point? I mean most people would set the level as high as it can go. The gap from 1-2 levels really does not matter that much if we keep all ours skills. Plus if they add content to worlds. Who would invite someone who wants to be the lowest level in it? I feel like that is like having option for the sake of option.

Quraswren
Optional is the only way to go about it and have the most people enjoying the content. Forced is a bad idea both in concept and implementation. Down leveling should have been held back till optional was designed allowing SWTOR gamers to both play the way they have for the past 4 years and provide a new way to play that provides newer rewards. the other 2 polls I skipped. Not enough options.

ImmortalLowlife
Which kind of Level-Sync do you prefer? http://strawpoll.me/5688114 In heroic areas only...or more specifically, If I choose to do a lower lvl heroic or group with a lower lvl player then you get lvl sync'd. How should Quest-rewards for "non-synched" players be handled? http://strawpoll.me/5688117 A lil money only How should Achievements be handled? http://strawpoll.me/5688122 I honestly don't really care one way or another about achievements. Hence why i didn't even vote on my own polls, lol. If i would make a poll that includes every possible option.. god.. that would take ages and would be hard to answer. Anyway.. what kind of answers are you missing? Edited October 9, 2015 by Focusangel
