Eh, Iokath and Oricon are 2 different cases. I agree that Iokath should have had an option like Yavin 4 (Ops or x8 missions), but Oricon really misses the mark if you don't make it an Operation. The thing is that the Dread Masters were tied to every Operation in SWTOR. The bombing run to free them freed Soa (EV), they drove Karagga insane (KP), they corrupted Kephess (EC), they opened the door to Cthulu (TFB), it was one of them at the end of (SV), and DF/DP are their climax. The Dread Masters are still my favourite storyline in SWTOR. And to some extent the game really did peak with DP. But I 100% agree about Iokath. Also, I just finished soloing the Dantooine heroics. It's tough, but you can do it so there's no reason to claim Dantooine is impossible solo.

IMHO we met the DMs on Belsavis (imperial) and they caused the KP operation, and the Dread Seed storyline, and EC, and TFB, and SV, and DF/DP. I'd say they've been one of the primary enemies of 1.0 and 2.0. So I wouldn't call them a side storyline. But other than that, yeah full agreement.

Valkorion destroys him AFTER he helps you defeat Vaylin (+ Arcann). If you killed Arcann then having him alive makes it 2v2, instead of 2v1. And the only time I've died even on Master Mode was when I fought both of the annoying siblings that Zakull forgot. Good news is that if you go back and do Chapter 7 again sometimes you can grab Dramath for the Chapter 9 fight. I originally freed him and managed to grab him for Chapter 9 somehow despite him being freed in my choices.

Your graphics card is way more than enough for TOR, I played from Dec 2011 - April 2019 with a GTX 770 and never had it max out. CPU is more important, specifically single-core performance. SWTOR is super single core heavy so that's a big one. An SSD helps for loading times for planets and zones, but those aren't bothering you then you're good there. Overall, just make sure you don't have bitraider, and minimize your latency as much as possible.

There's a brief storyline on Ossus but other than that yes, there's not much solo content here. You could probably do it in under 30 minutes if you skipped the cutscenes.

It's focused on NiM Gods providing all the 258 gear so it's trying to be make it fair for PvP players. As trite as this may sound, you really don't need BiS unless you're doing Ranked PvP or NiM Ops. If you're truly playing for completionism, there's over 50,000 achievement points you can get from solo play. And anyone I've seen with all of those also has almost every single Ops achievement just because that's the kind of person that does that much achievement completion.

So I don't know when the mission board is supposed to reset, but I have 2 toons on Ossus. My sorc couldn't pick up any new missions and finished the weeklies on Sunday so I thought today he'd have new ones. My merc just finished the main story yesterday and also couldn't pick up any missions, including the one-time world boss weekly. Is there something I need to do to force the world boss one-time mission and the world boss weekly to be available?

I'm curious why we haven't heard from our ghosts as Inqs. My head canon is that we've completely beaten them and that they were a non-factor in KOTET Chapter 9. That being said, that was the only chapter where I truly expected them to matter. Like maybe the Voss ghost sides with us and the rest side with Valk or something.
