Yea I did what I felt comfortable doing.... It didn't work. I thank all of y'all for the help and suggestions, but I'm done with this. I'm not gonna continue to waste what little time I have to game playing tech support. I sold my PC and bought an Xbox, so now I own every console. I'll just go back to being a 100% console gamer. Once again thank you all. And may the force be with you.

That was the last time I was able to play with no issues. Since then it's only worked occasionally. It's been either very laggy, or it won't do anything after I hit play on the launcher. Like I said.... I've tried all the fixes I'm comfortable with. While I'm not a complete tech moron, I also know my limits. So if installing and using the steam version doesn't work (which I won't know for at least a couple days when I have a moment to log on again), then I'm cancelling my sub and moving on. I just bought the new Xbox and Starfield, and I prefer console gaming anyway. I doubt it'll make any difference to the devs, but I just wanted it known why someone who's literally been here for the life of the game is now possibly leaving.

Everything was fine up until about 4 months ago. I was playing with no issues... Everything on max settings. Then it started getting extremely laggy. Now for the last several of months, I can't even get past the "play" button. It acts like it's starting, then nothing. I haven't been able to actually play in months! And I've been here subbed since the beginning! I tried all the "fixes" that I was comfortable with trying. (I'm not a PC gamer... I literally only play SWTOR on the PC I had built.) I'm installing "steam" now to see if it'll work from there. But if this doesn't work, then I'm done. Y'all have had my sub (without breaks) for over 10yrs now. It's sad y'all are about to lose it because the game won't freaking launch anymore!

All you have to do is warp to your stronghold with him, and you can equip whatever gear/appearance cosmetics you want.

Imo if they really wanna make a dent in the amount of credits floating around, then they need to be taxing direct player to player sales. These are typically the upper echelon "rich" players selling stuff to each other. Tax those sales, and tax them a considerably higher rate than the gtn tax (ie a 30-40% tax).

I'm having the same issues. Before the patch, I ran everything on very high. After the patch, I get as far as the play button and then nothing. I've tried everything you suggested, but I don't have time to troubleshoot this nonsense.... Smdh.... This is why I play everything else on consoles.

I've gotten exactly 2 SCP's since the event started. The drop rates are ridiculous.... I'm not finna spend any more of my already limited game time doing this.

Yea... Let's just say my mentality aligns with the male smuggler. I flirt and "fade to black" with every female I see. But if I can only pick one, then it's Vette.

There are a few older items like relics and weapons that can only be used if your alignment is at a certain level, but most of those items are pretty useless now.

I was hoping we'd eventually get a scene for our smuggler characters between Vette and Risha.

I get 73 messages every time I create a new character. Half of the stuff I get, I don't even use. I go through the emails and take the 15-20 items I'll actually use, and delete everything else. I just warp to a stronghold after that first cutscene. I also design outfits, and grab some credits while I'm there. Usually takes me about 15min to do everything.

I've been looking for the "enter ________ to get the cantina crate" thread I'd expected to pop up during/after celebration this year. I mean..... It's the 10yr anniversary! A year of celebrating SWTOR! I knew y'all's presence this year at celebration was gonna be small to day the least, but nothing?

Sell them to a vendor. That's all they're good for now is a few credits.

There is only a couple of moves that actually use the knife. You get access to em as you level up. You can activate stealth as long as you're not already in combat, and eventually you'll get a move that allows you to use stealth to get out of combat.

Because it's nice to have. 6mo ago, my jug in fully augmented 306 set piece gear could comfortably run whatever content I decided to do. Heroics were a breeze, maybe I'll solo some Star fortresses, or hey... I've got free time, maybe I'll jump in this pug group and take on a world boss. I'm not the greatest player ever, but I can play my class confidently. And having top tier gear makes it a lot easier to step out of my comfort zone and try different things. My question is why do NM raiders care about having the best gear? Isn't that about doing the most difficult content in the game? Wouldn't it be a much bigger flex to say "I do NM raids in basic greens"?

I've logged in a total of 5 times since 7.0 launched. Probably played for a total of 3 hrs in all. I was enjoying myself with 6.0.... Now I'm waiting to see what changes they make in the next patch before I decide if I'll continue to sub.

Lvl 2. Because I've played for maybe 3hrs all week. My first playthru of the new expansion I kept getting kicked from the server so I stopped trying. I've logged in 4 days to get the sub rewards, and the new companion. Otherwise I've been playing Horizon Forbidden West on PS5.... a great game that launched with a LOT less bugs. I'll get back into SWTOR after they release a patch.

As a sub you'll get access to the expansion, and all of the sub perks coming in the update listed in the patch notes. You'll also be able to earn the sub rewards in the galactic seasons.

In other words, she's already back. She's only available to the sith warrior, will show up after Ossus, and now you can even romance her lightside version.
