I've now fund out I have to roll an republican alt to 15 to get one of the parts? Mind boggling. I don't want a Republican toon. All my toons are Empire. Now I gotta spend an entire day grinding a character I won't ever play again? Just scratching my head at this one. So is there no other way of getting this piece? First off, getting to coruscant will take you an hour or two tops. Secondly, double xp weekend is this weekend, why not just make an alt and get there in 20 minutes or so? If you really don't want to play a republic toon. Send over a few major experience boosts (and/or wait until this weekend). Spacebar through all of the conversations (you will never hear this come from me but if you really don't want to play rep side, might as well) and get to 15 in maybe 3 hours. The HK-51 is a legacy feature. It is not meant to be an easy thing (which it is already, the Rep requirement just makes it legacy) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It really doesn't take that long and even less so with double XP which you can stack with boosts on top. *Edit: I mean Dromand Kaas/Coruscant. Can you tell I don't play the Imperial side much? To answer this question... no, there is no possible workaround to get HK-51 without having at least 1 char on each faction on the same server, which are able to visit Dromund Kaas and Coruscant. It will probably take you longer to actually find the piece then it does to roll a character able to find the piece. Well it took me 1 1/2 day, using exp boosts to get an agent I rolled last weekend to 15. I guess I just suck. But my point is still valid, why make someone roll a toon they don't intend to play.. I would rather the quest be longer and more difficult but done on my main character. Honestly this questline started out great, the ghost ship parts were awesome, wish there were more like it. Your point is that you dislike something because you have to do extra work you didn't plan on doing. I love the HK questline, and am 100% happy with how they did it. The answer to your question -- because that is how BW decided to make it. End of story. You can either do the questline as is, or ignore it completely and not get HK-51. Check that baggage at the door before you log in. Really? He's the troll? Did you read your original post where getting a "rebublican" toon to level 15 would take all day and you shouldn't have to? I'm pretty sure you're the troll. It's really this simple, if you want HK, spend the 2 hours tops leveling a toon to 10 (yes I said 10, all you need is to get to Coruscant and either not agro or get an escort to the correct area, you don't have to get to 15) You can delete your Republican after that if you don't want him. If that's too much work then I have news for you, you'll never get HK, this is the least work of the whole quest-line. All you really have to do is get to that planet, you can have a higher level person escort you through the city. Sometimes you have to put in a little bit of effort if you want something. Back on topic tho, It would take you less than an hour to get a character to lvl 15 during this weekend. Just make one, get the piece and then delete the character. What is the problem?
