Being on your ship while using Group Finder appears to have big issues.

1. If you're in Space Combat, group finder will pop as will the travel dialog, but clicking "travel now" will crash you to the desktop.

2. If you return from a flashpoint to your ship (you have to have traveled from there and then return), the ship is no longer at its last position, and is "docked" at the flashpoint you just ran. If you leave via the door without moving the ship to a valid location, you will crash the game AND not be able to log in again.

Knew nothing about it untill it happened to me.

Several posts on it in CS from ticked off people that can no longer log in.

There is a 'work around' posted there.

Basically you get to character select (while in full screen, not FSwindowed, and not windowed)

Select your character, when loading pops up, immediately alt-tab.

Wait five or ten minutes then go back and it should continue loading you.

 

There looks to be a similar issue with some people not being able to log in after a random CTD, or not related to FP 'return to previous location' mechanics.

For some the above work-around doesn't work.

Black Hole weekly - can't get it on any of my toons on 3 different servers. I don't have it already and am eligible for it. Other players are reporting the same issue.

 

Black Hole - Glow quest. They allow you to loot 1 anti-raid injector but the mobs on the other side won't drop another to use to get back across the radioactive pool.

Not sure if this has been covered yet, but in space the blaster sound of "powered" up blasters (via Power Conversion Module) is now the same as when they are not powered up.

I always have to check now if the blasters are powered up, plus I loved the sound of the powered up blasters.

Bug or intended change?

Terror From Beyond, final boss. Also uncertain: bug or intended undiscovered mechanic but:

 

Phase 1:

I believe I was killed by Larva explosion when jumped on U... Larva, the one to dps on its way to tank (will look for screenshot).

Birthing Larvae were sometimes not displaying on my screen until they were very close and sometimes it was sprinting half of the area in 1.5 second (when starting from the edge of pool)

 

Phase 2:

One and same of the healers (sage) was constantly getting aggro during consequent attempts. Not certain if intended or some aggro mechanic flaw.

Certainly something that needs fixing, but this was definitely happening long before 1.4. Led to many "Dammit, who hit the detonator?" accusations followed by 4 "not me"s until we figured out it was just a bug. Don't have enough tests to say that it works 100% but staying left moving to and killing the last trash before the event (the mobs just beyond the event area) seems to keep it from triggering.

Indeed it is, and I wish all the peeps clamoring "everything is fine with 1.4, plenty to do, we're fine lalalala" will finally understand the scope and magnitude of issues that are just flat broken with the game. I think everyone understands issues will come about with updates, but it's the copius amount of "broken" (<----broken, not bugged sometimes or little annoyances but broken) stuff is pretty tough to ignore.

 

Also, one more confirmed issue for PvP. When 1.2 went live (or 1.1 can't recall for sure which), there was a known issue where if you que'd for a WZ and accepted the invite, it would send you to the character loading screen. This was fixed some time ago, two different times I remember, but the bug has since returned. The good news, there is an easy fix for this. It used to be, people would let the queue timer run out, then re-queue and it would sometimes fix it. I did this yesterday, let the queue expire, but it still showed me in the queue. 2 Others in my group let the timer expire, and had the same issue. The only fix I know of, is to run the repair feature on the launchpad, which tends to clear whatever hiccup there is with that.

 

Thanks again for updating this. It seems the next hot fix, in and of itself, will undoubtedly be as big as the last patch.

Yeah, the OP has done a tremendous job helping out, be nice if they at least thanked him for it (on top of letting us know they're investigating the proposed issues). :)

1.4 came with, imho, the best operation released so far, im enjoying the landscape and the mechanics, but sadly it came with new bugs and issues, some of them game breaking for the people affected, others just annoyances.

 

The goal of this list is to have those bugs recognized and added to the "Known Issues List", please help me fill in this list by providing links to a post where the issue is being discussed, i will update this post regularly.

 

EDIT: The list is growing too much and too fast, i want to keep it as updated as possible so pls be sure the bugs/issues you report are strictly related to 1.4, i will keep reviewing your posts as soon as my time allows me, thx a lot for all the help, hopefully we will get this issues acknowledged any soon.

 

I have mark some of the issues reported as Confirmation Required, this means i have fail to find a Thread discussing it or i have not been able to reproduce it, so i would appreciate some help on finding a Thread where more people talks about that issue.

 

Also, some of the problmes have been reported to be in the official Known Issues list, so i will underscore issues as they are added to that list or at least acknowledged in Dev Tracker.

 

General / Performance / Stability

  1. Characters stuck at Loading Screen - Discussion 1 - Discussion 2 - Discussion 3

  15. Upon exiting game at the end of a session the game freezes 'not responding'.

Graphics

  1. Graphics totally messed on some setups - Discussion 1

  4. When flying in a taxi (mainly at Coruscant, but reported also at other planets), the taxi flickers in and out of existence just showing your character flying - Confirmed
     
  5. Hot bars/abilities cooldown effects stuttering. (probably related to the reported General graphics stuttering)
     
  6. sometimes on inspecting the item tooltips in my character screen and inventory i get graphical glitches (trash on screen) - Confirmed Image 1 - Image 2
     
  7. When trying to preview gear, some gear shows up and some doesn't. Some gear the I tried to preview not only wouldn't preview but would strip my character naked - Confirmed
     
  8. Target frame portrait shows every NPC with dark side corruption - Confirmation required

 

Classes / Abilities / Consumables

  1. Insta sheathe weapons after self buffing
     
  2. Adrenals/stims: You can click the item multiple times, while it is on cooldown, no error message, but consumes the item. - Confirmation required
     
  3. Abilities failing to fire. (Abilities will channel and reset GCD but not fire. Other times nothing at all will happen.)
     
  4. Abilities/attacks not recieving proper bonuses/modifiers. - Discussion 1

    Bounty Hunter / Trooper


     

  5. "Free" Railshot: with the 4pc set bonus and talents, this is quite commonly not free any longer, at least consistantly. Randomly, it will still cost an additional 8 heat. There is no rhyme or reason i was able to ascertain. sometimes it would not happen for 5 or 6 railshots, and others it would be every railshot.
     
  6. Target swapping: currently, there is alot more of this happening, which throws resource management out of whack. Wind up time & heat has always been an issue with multiple target swapping phases, but the new content makes this happen more often.
     
  7. Insta-heal: The heal still uses heat, and if used, as with the "free" railshot not being free, throws the resource management out of whack.
     
  8. Excesive Heat buildup - Discussion 1
     
  9. Sweeping Blasters is now bugged again. - Discussion 1
     
  10. Unload skill screwed up in multiple ways.
    a) Seems to be not channeling correctly, skipping half of it.
    b) Sometimes it appears as if only every other shot is counting.
    c) Sometimes half the shots spray wildly in different directions.

 

 

Companions

  1. Companion weapons (specifically sabers) remaining "popped" even while sheathed. - Confirmed
     
  2. Erratic behavior on companion helmet visibility (needs to be manually reaplied) Acknowledged

 

Flashpoints / Operations

  1. New unadvertised mechanics in EC HM Kephess encounter - Discussion 1
     
  2. TfB HM 1st boss: he was doing a slight 1-2 m knockback on me as a tank. like an unintended offset. not sure if that was synchronization problem or actual movement of my character.
     
  3. TfB HM 1st boss: 2 Foul Offspring spawning before the "A Jealous Male Has Arrived to Defend His Mate!" event starts
     
  4. Undocumented change in Kaon HM turrent event. (Attempting to kill trash in Kaon HM next to turret event starts the event. Didn't happen before patch)
     
  5. Jindo Krei fight bug in the False Emperor HM FP is back - Discussion 1
     
  6. In the Red Reaper, when you meet the final Boss, the acolytes do not die so you cannot finish the mission. - Confirmation required
     
  7. When you are in a operation or flashpoint if you die and hit the "Return to Medcenter" button you'll get revived with full health... - Confirmation required
     
  8. Flashpoint: Cademimu if you use the sliced taxi it will close out the game, for everyone in the instance. Happened 3 times today after waiting over an hour in the group finder each time. Each time all players were kicked to desktop as soon as someone entered the taxi.

 

PVP - Discussion

  1. Voidstar - Different issues with this WZ, the more pressing matter is the deciding factor on who wins/loses. It seems teams are beating other teams to the same point, but getting credited with a loss and vice versa. The tie-breaker is also not working, as plenty of peeps have pointed out the attacking team is winning these regardless. - Acknowledged
     
  2. Reported issue of Ranked Queues not popping on Harbringer. Despite teams working together to get a queue pop, and logging off and back on in case of queue bug, was still not getting the Rated match to start.
     
  3. When an 8 team is queue'd for Rateds and the queue pops, if a player does not accept or decline of the invite, the WZ used to automatically port you in anyways (which was a nice feature in case someone missed it accidently). Last night, my teammate missed the original queue pop, but was NOT transported to the WZ.
     
  4. WZ's are not filling up properly - Discussion 1

When are the developers going to even talk about how poorly this game has been performing since 1.4? The silence on this issue is fustrating. Do you have a message of them even acknowledging this as a major problem/bug?

So far I have:

 

  1. Known Schematics being used up even with already known message
  2. Graphics Stuttering, This seems mainly other players / NPC's special ability graphics. Causes screen freezes for up to 5 seconds, Ping remains 30ms & CPU usage falls to 10% from 60%+ finally no unusual HD usage noted
  3. When flying in a taxi (So far every planet I have used a Taxi that has a 'Taxi model' So far Speeders have not disappeared), the taxi flickers in and out of existence just showing your character flying
  4. sometimes on inspecting the item tooltips in my character screen and inventory i get graphical glitches (My Glitch Makes the Icons & Nearby Team members look like an Untuned Analogue TV)
  5. Companion weapons (specifically sabres & in my case the dual lightening streaks on Vibroswords as well) remaining "popped" even while sheathed. (Had this bug on & off since beta)

With the number of bugs and broken game elements, is there any chance we can revert to the last 1.3 patch?

 

Would it be possible for the developers to implement some of the changes in 1.4, such as they new Op and class balancing, without releasing the rest of it, which has clearly affected the game poorly.
