  1. I have had problems in Win10 with using the program (SwtorUnleashed.xml) kept getting to reset the file list to 0 and settings interface doesn't work. If anyone has a solution, please help me out! In any case, I've found that manually adding files, ramdrive size into the a.m. file helps out to get it working. Adding files should look like this: As the game doesn't fit in 100% on my ramdrive anymore I'm using ProcMon to monitor the game and select later the files which were most frequently read and were read for most data (they overlap occasionally). Re. the speed it is good to substantiate the claims with proof so I've run simple benchmark for this post. For me it is worth the effort (considering how SWTOR used to benefit from this) as not only beats my Raid 0 SSDs but also doesn't exert my PC with cooking SSDs. Even if the SSD is good enough for someone there is no way to contradict the hard numbers which anyone can benchmark on their systems. Ramdrive: Raid 0: SSD:
  2. You want Tier 5 stuff. It drops in difficult content. You need Tier 4 for that. You get it from easy content. What are you lacking to get Tier 5? Since you have everything you need to do the hardest content what will you do with Tier 5? How 1% trillionaires will affect your game experience? You pay sub, find group of players you like and you experience everything the same way whether you have below 1 million or above 1 trillion credits. They play their game - play yours.
  3. I really enjoyed this one - you could do it underleveled if smart and patient and it was breaking overleveled battering rams. It also had one nice looking sets for Sentinel so early in the SWTOR stage. I even regretted when you needn't healer off the turret anymore...
  4. I am returning 1.x-2.x player and trying to find which specc I should re-learn now. Used to be a Watchman like you but then I got an arrow in the knee. Actually I had to be Watchman because on poor ISP I used to have the Ops performance in Combat was unacceptable. I get the picture that Combat/Carnage is most resilient of three specs to class changes - retaining over the years the difficulty, abilities and relative performance. Is this correct? Thx, B1
  5. Perhaps we should move to the parser section. In any case I appreciate the comments. Nevertheless, I don't share in your concerns, for me these inner workings which we don't need to get into as players - unless like me would want to write a parser for your own use. We're getting into discussing how the game engine works without having the first hand knowledge but if the game knows how to correctly update the server db in response to ingame events so in same manner it can write a file on a disk. Moreover there are so many solutions to tabulate and make the data available to parse (e.g. lua tables like in WoW, json format like Wargaming games do or can be xml) and up to date (e.g. prompt via API timestamp of the last server update to inventory and crew skills and upon change refresh status or write new log file on each change which can be monitored locally). This looks like walk in the park next to the combat log parsers and I wanted to stay away from suggesting technical solutions trusting that BW coders will have much better ideas than I could have.

  9. Since I was lured out with server merges I am going to shamelessly bump this suggestion. Give us inventory CSV logs & crew skill CSV logs! We can pick up from there and make our own parsers just like it happened with combat logs.

  13. Hi all, Devs, I wish to share an idea which would make live of altoholics much easier. What do you think about new magical button in game menu replacing Logout button or perhaps set next to it (I use Quit Game if I don't want to play anymore)? When clicked it would expand the character lists and would allow the game automatic reload to another character on same server. Code permitting, perhaps cross server relogs? Altoholics unite and help out with this idea! Regards, B1
  14. Hi all, Devs, I want to suggest to build upon the Combat Log parsing and open this way to the community to create some tools similar to combat parsers. It would be excellent to have contents of Cargo, Guild and Legacy Holds exported to the text file. In similar fashion, having the Crew Skill logged would also be a great advantage to manage large collection which players gather since launch of the game.   15. Quite unfinished 1.4 Error from Beyond was dished out on MoP launch, now we get reheated Gree event and double XP at HotS start. I remember TOR server going empty right on D3 launch but Blizz must have hurt them more than I realized.
  16. I am slightly disappointed with new talent trees but I reckon they are far from final form. Having improved OH damage in Tier 2 in Combat is big surprise as neither of the Tier 1 talents seem that useful to spend the 5 TP in them. Extra 3% in Accuracy might be fine if we have to consider Alacrity now in our gear. N.b., anyone played around the Alacrity yet? Otherwise, Zen homogenized, I need to test 4 stack Merciless but I predict it just changes our gamepley into smashing MS, OS, focus builders and Cauterize when available, there goes away the finesse of Sentinel gampeplay. First positive impression, gear sets have now 10 components and 2 / 4 pcs set boni. Will combining different armorings be finally possible? Nice. I look forward to see mathematicians REing formulas behind the ratings for new levels in any case, I like to know how to tune the toon.

  18. I think you should sell it to BW for steep price, they already earned their share on the people whom your program improved game experience and lowered frustration inviting them to leave. About Win 8, I was also surprised to see that system restores the ramdrive, however using the launcher right away caused crash, so I always use unleashed on first TOR start. I was first intrigued by much prolonged shutdown time. I just start game in retail mode to have ramdrive cleared. It is rather curiosity than a nuisance.
  19. I asked about numbers our Scoundrel healer when she played in offspecc on TFB HM and 1700+ on one of first two bosses does not look bad to me, considering that it is hybrid class and offspecc.
  20. I disagree. All other tokens were not BoP, let them try something new this time at least until event repeats. Of course I am speaking from the perspective of person who did his maths and by the end of event will have exactly 42 tokens for 24 and 18 weapons, plus already have secured max rep cap. If I haven't I would be complaining here too.
  21. I'd say: let's see what they do with MS before discussing any further whether 1 more stack is buff or nerf until we learn about more MS changes. Definitely, it lacks imagination and in third expansion we'll have to spam it every GCD. Blast, we can even enter timewarp and have to cast second next MS before next one with negative CD on MS! On the front of preventing loss of Merciless buff I came up with following idea: New talent point ability, off GCD: burn crits would build its stacks up to 15(?), not more often than once per 6 second. When used it consumes the stacks to maintain Merciless for duration in seconds corresponding to ability stacks. Cooldown 30 seconds or 1 minute, next Merciless Slash resets the ability. It could serve as emergency during phase switches. It would however be much simpler if we would gain and lose stacks by 1. We would still suffer from loss but not be too OP through duration of fight.   23. Gree event kept me from collecting your replies in OP, thanks again. I was also thinking about idea for another new skill: Force Stasis/Choke slightly buffs the burn damage taken by the target - so the overall damage with burns is bigger than 2 Strikes but smaller when no burns are present. As further incentive it could add (only) 1 more focus in case any of the ticks crit while burns are present on target. It would act as mini Zen, rotating with it sometimes but at same time would be weaker, would not apply OS stack (prolonging its application and ticks) would allow to build focus (alternative to Zealous Strike and Force Leap when on CD) and add 10m range ability to frequently used ones. I have mixed feelings about this but sharing the idea anyway.
