I know this will cause some to brand me as a fanboi. Sobeit, I've been called worse. LOL I've played MMO's since 2003. I started playing SWTOR prior to launch. Life came and went and I would visit the game but usually got sidetracked and pulled away. Families can do that. I just wanted to say thank you, for creating a game that allows me to do just that (leave and come back). I've been gone for a while, and recently felt the urge. Wow a lot has changed, and I love all of it. The solo aspect of FP's, not needing to outfit companions and so on. It was so easy to get up to speed and not spend hours on fleet spamming for help. I know, I know, an MMO you play solo, oxy moron right? I group, and have fun there as well. Not being forced is wonderful. I can login, escape my daily concerns and just get lost in the galaxy. I have 8 level 60's now. Being FTP, I'm content with that. Oh I should mention the 7 day sub caught my eye and being able to post this got me to try it. I wish I could say I'm going to sub again, but, well money is really tight. 7 year old that lives with us wants to play soccer, she's a cheerleader, learning to skate, and oh who know's what else. Thing is, 15.00 isn't a lot, but times are tough around our way, and I'm watching every penny. Being able to visit the game and not be making another bill is a godsend for me. More then you can know. I'm approaching 60, (*GASP*) and hanging with like minded people is really great. I hope the game is doing well, and I'll work on buying the new expansion. To all those involved, thank you for all you do. To all those nice folks in game, and here, MTFBWY. ./swordsalute

Yep, Gamers (some) like to play dolly Dress up. I'm guilty of this, I want distressed and damaged armor when possible. Clean and shiny is like I never fight I just sit on fleet lol

Exactly why I play other games as well. I know some do not want to have to start a new game and character, finding something to have as a distraction is helpful. when many new changes come to a game I am playing, and I am unsure of them or unhappy about nerfs etc, I just take a break for a month or so and play something new. When I come back I've forgotten how everything works and it's a new. Sounds silly probably, but for me it seems to work.

It would be like the pvp champ gear boxes I'm sure. I opened 60 and no armor.

They need the revenue. Face it people, this game is in deep doo doo. Even Jarr Jarr would realize that.

I've played both, they were equally fun, and interesting convo's with companions because of LS choices.

A friend had an interesting thought about this "Tanks and Healers involve thought and planning and training, dps can sit and punch buttons and do ok..." Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

On our server, if you are DPS you can wait literally hours to get into a group (and we have plenty of people logged in, fleet goes to 3 phases quite often). As a healer or tank, you can almost click and go. With so many DPS'rs it's near impossible to get into a group, as it is for healers and/or tanks. I don't blame BW, because short of placing a cap on dps character creation (which would be unheard of) what could they do? Suggestions?

Wonder what they will call their new gaming company? I'm thinking they will start over. Rather than buy such a tainted company back from EA, start new and move on. And don't forget the rumors that EA is for sale. It could be a deal has been struck and they were informed their services would not be needed. Ya never know.. Many say the game is fine, others diagree. Here is all that matters.. Is it Profitable? If so, it stays, if not.. bye bye. You can't argue this point. If I recall correctly we had 50's in our guild within a month. But to be fair some gamed until they passed out and then logged back in when they woke up.

Take a screenshot of the list of what is supposed to be done, then compare with actually list after. I'm thinking most of the changes we said "Oh wow about time" to, will not make it. Hope I'm wrong. If I'm not, I will most likely cancel and delete my characters. I'm to the point that if moods on faces is their priority, I'm wasting my time and it will never get any better.

Don't get me started, with so many bugs etc, this took priority. O.o

3/4 of the alloted time BW Devs will attempt at being hip and cool. The remaining few minutes they will say they are working hard and hope you stay tuned and thank you for coming. BW, prove me wrong. Don't be like the A-hat devs of the other games. Be genuine, and forthcoming.

The orginal SWG was absolutely briliant. I miss that game so much, after cu.. not so much. They had a stellar game and then shot it in the head. SWTOR was shot in the head at launch, and is only recently getting better. 200 to 300 million reportedly spent on the original game. ON WHAT? I'd love to see a line by line breakdown. I bet shareholders would also.

When SOE/SWG released the NGE (New game experience) and the customer ire was at it's peak, LA posted a page on their site "Lucas Arts is not involved in the daily decisions etc.." And it's no different here. LA didn't (to my knowledge) contact BW and ask them to create SWTOR. More than likely BW/EA approached them and struck a deal and aquirred a license. To that end, LA sits back and waits on royalties as agreed upon (last article I read stated them to be 33% of the profits after initial investment was met etc..). Don't expect LA to ride in and save the day, they won't. It's all on BW/EA.

Their attitude has been and remains, buy it or don't. Play or go away. They were once the Titans of the gaming world, now they make SOE/SWG look like WOW in comparison. Honestly I wish they would bring SWG back. LA goofed they need to give SOE back the license.

True in lotro you can except in pvp. And it took 3 or 4 years for lotro to add that. The look of their original armor was hideous.

Yet they recently had time to add the most hideous color of blue to the Voss Mystic armor. So yeah they have time to waste..

Well do to the current job market and our diminishing earnings as a nation, yep, we are. 15.00 a month to some is a pizza with the family and maybe not feeling so depressed about their lives and lack of income.
